Together we’re raising four children and a couple of dogs. We think they're pretty awesome, but we might be biased.
I got this delightful little ebook from the Hidden Gems website. It’s a very short story (it took me about ten minutes), told entirely from the point of view of a dog called Pacer. While I’m not a dog person, (as is probably obvious from my screen name) I like most stories with animals as main characters. Pacer talks in dog language, but you soon understand what he’s referring to, and getting to see the world from a canine perspective was unusual but fun. I loved the bit about the sock! My main disappointment is how short it is - I was expecting more, and would happily read a longer version to find out what happened next.
Thanks to the author and Hidden Gems for the free review copy in exchange for an honest review.
This short story is told from the dog’s perspective and anyone who has a pet should identify immediately with this book. There are some funny scenes and some serious scenes. It’s a great way to tell a story which goes through everyday life but with the added bonus of seeing human life through their dog’s eyes. An awesome read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cute little story from the viewpoint of a dog. I'm not a big dog lover but it was funny to read the thoughts and actions of this dog regarding his family and the interaction with others. It is very short story (appox. 15 mins reading time), so I'm glad I got it for free. If I come across other works of this author, I'll definitely try them.
Mine is a very cute short story told from a dog's point of view. When I say short, I mean my kindle showed it as 12 pages from front to back. The story is about a dog named Paced and his family: the HeAlpha, SheAlpha and their 3 "paws". If you love dog's and those cut memes where they "talk", then you'll love this short story.
I received an ARC from Hidden Gems for an honest review.
I received a free copy of this book to review. I LOVED this short story! Dogs are my favorite “people” so this was a hit with me! Told from the point of view of the dog, it was a very interesting read. A must read for dog lovers!!!
