This is a fab third book! With a fab storyline this well written story has it all from action, adventure, mystery and twists and turns! A paranormal story that can be read out of sequence and some great characters, this will have you on the edge of your seat!

Lotte Freundenberger ran on the treadmill, wishing that the test would end soon. Doing this over and over for three months was getting tiresome. Whatever they had done to her in the lab while she was unconscious apparently didn’t “take” since she was still the same werewolf. She would be leaving ICRA tomorrow, and she couldn’t wait! Out of all of them there, only the vampire doctor became a friend and she would miss Dr. Agniezska Kaski. Now she had to see Dopfer for the results on the state of her body, and then it was over.
Lotte followed Dopfer into a room, turned around and Kveder was standing there ready to fight with her. With Dopfer’s power to create illusions, which he changed to disorient her, she was using all of her wolf senses to fight. When Dopfer created many images of Kveder, the weaker scent of the duplicates let her find the real Kveder and bring him down. She closed her eyes, depending on her senses, and again brought Kveder down – to which Dopfer called out “well done” and said she was cleared. Fighting the nausea and headache produced by the test, she went outside and shifted to run through the woods. As she drank from the stream, strong arms grabbed her and Afanasiy showed her how very much he missed her!
Isa Vogt knows that Lotte would make a great agent, but she absolutely does not want to give up her hard-won freedom for that life. But when Melina’s house is trashed, probably in a search for something most likely not found, and she is beaten to the brink of death and left in a coma, Lotte can’t ignore it and needs to become a part of the investigation – even though she will probably never be able to return to her freedom. Is she willing to take that risk?
This is an enthralling story, fast-paced, full of mystery, and drawing the reader quickly in. The characters are familiar to those reading the series, but even if this is your first book, you will catch on fast! Lotte is an amazingly strong character that never gives up. She is also loyal to those she cares about. Grab this exciting book and immerse yourself in a really good, action-packed book that definitely delivers!

Gaja J. Kos brings it and then some in the third outing in the “Lotte Freudenberger” series Transient Moon. We pick up the day before Lotte’s quarantine ends, approximately three months after Darkening ended. Lotte has been tested physically, mentally, and genetically. She is ready to be let out and get back to her own life.
Unfortunately everyone has plans for Lotte, especially with a drastic turn of events. Melina is beaten and is in a coma. Isa offers her a chance to find Melina’s assailant, but at a steep price. Another player enters the field and makes an offer to Lotte too.
Old friends come in for an assist and introduce Lotte to some new friends - who I want to see a lot more of! Lotte makes choices and watches others make choices that for Lotte they cannot come back from.
Transient is not so much an action story this time around as it is an emotional rollercoaster for Lotte. Decisions are made, then have to be unmade. This is a hard time in Lotte’s life and I do not envy her. Kos puts Lotte through her emotional paces and we all suffer for her.
This is the perfect title for the book as Lotte is in a period of transition. Kos packs this story with surprises, betrayals, new allies, and unexpected consequences. Pour yourself a huge pot of tea because this is a book you will want to talk about after reading.

I can never go wrong with one of Gaja's stories. I couldn't wait to read more about Lotte to see what is happening.
What I love about this story and all of Gaja's works, is that she really thinks through her plots. They are so involved and you find yourself turning the pages late into the night to see what happens. I really like seeing a lot of the previous characters from other books make an appearance.
The variety of different types of paranormal characters is outstanding and you are never bored.
I also find that the way that Gaja writes the female leads, they are so badass and likeable.
There is enough steamy scenes to really spice up the book, without being over the top. The main thing that holds her stories together is the plot, action and world building. The way that Gaja describes things, you really feel like you are there. You do get caught up in the action and the other characters.
As with all of Gaja's stories they always end with - what is going to happen next?
I can't wait for the next one to see if my questions will be answered.

the internal bond she has to her Demon Ifanasyi might well be more torture than comfort in its own way, but it may well also be unexpected protection.
Lena her Nightwraith friend may find some release, and fight hard for her, just as their physician friend suffers at the mania of a deranged admirer.
More than one in her circle will choose loyalty to different means and ends than Lotte does - and it will cause her many types of pain.
A new phase starts in life for Lotte, but really not the one I was expecting for the werewolf.
A bumpy, steamy ride just took a sharp turn - again. I am eager to see the new directions and destinations she will now meet.

The third volume, Transient Moon, finds Lotte discovering many ways in which the changes in her have made her outgrow her role in the tennis world and cause her to rely on her Hunter heritage. But she must reach out to the Fae and Demon realms for help in solving a supernatural assault on her dear friend and fellow coach, Marina. She is forced to choose between her heart and her integrity when her beloved Afanisiy's liege turns out to be too corrupt to follow. By the end she has signed a contract--in blood-- to pursue evil in the supernatural world, like her brothers and sisters before her. It's a bittersweet beginning for a new Lotte.
These are top-notch, very sexy, kick-ass adventures. There are at least two more volumes for Lotte to dig out the chief villains, and I'm sure she'll manage.

This is book 3 to the Lotte Freundenberger series and I absolutely loved it, I don’t want to give away spoilers to this story it’s just that good plus I wouldn’t know where to start because this book has so much going on. This book is packed full of action, danger, suspense, betrayal and the list goes on and onto keep you entertained and turning the pages. I feel real bad for Lotte she goes through so much she’s sacrificed so much for other people and then they betray her, I was not expecting that ending wow I just want Lotte to have her happily ever after but not yet it seems. Thank you GaJa for this amazing series but I want more now please, I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Our heroine has just gained her freedom, but will she sacrifice it for friendship?
This is a paranormal story with a mystery at its core. This is also not the first book in the series, but it can easily be read out of order. The reader will be able to pick up the important details pretty quickly. Of course, you will probably want to go back and fill in the gaps after reading this one.
The story is solid, with a good strong plot and well developed characters that draw you into the story. There are several twists and turns along the way which will keep the reader guessing and engaged in the story. I quite enjoyed it and found it hard to put down before finishing.
Highly recommended.

This book is packed with everything a reader like myself is looking for and then some. Not the first book with these characters yet this could be read as a stand-alone. Fair warning, you will want to read the others after reading even one, for these characters are so worth their whole stories! The storyline itself is full of fast paced action, deep moral dilemmas, questionable love interests, suspenseful plot twists, and definitely mature content not for innocent eyes. A mystery is definitely resolved in this tale, but even deeper secrets have been uncovered and will leave you wondering! Stunning! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

I have ever been a fan of this author since the release of her Nightwraith series. Action packed and well written, this story moves along as Lotte returns to her beloved tennis club, her loyal friends and business partners and her demon lover Afanasiy. But the brutal beating of her former lover has her out tracking the attacker and puts her up against some nasty fiends. I loved reading this book but the ending was so sad.

Despite a slow start, this police procedural/thriller runs an exciting course of action and character development. Lotte is the very epitome of a kickass female - warrior, heroine, guardian down to her fingertips. She would be in good company with Eve Dallas and Anita Blake. I wonder if the authors would be willing to write a crossover novel?

Lotte has been through so much and her troubles aren't over yet. It seems fate is not done with asking her to be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice or with bringing people into her life who are going to betray her trust and cause her immeasurable pain. A fantastic addition to the series with characters to vibrant they leap off the page and a story that is well-written, complex and captivating.

Transient Moon by Gaja J. Kos is a wonderful story to read. This is book number three in this wonderful series that I fell in love with. I loved this series cause I love reading story with twist and turns threw it. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about twist and turns threw a story as much as I do.

Lotte is finally released from the ICRA but they found out she had something implanted in her.
Isa wants her to become a agent even though Lotte hates the agency.
Her friend is almost beaten to death and Lotte is going after him.
She has to learn how to deal with what was done to her and a betrayal from someone close.

This is the third book in the Lotte Freundenberger Series by Gaja J. Kos and it was great. You are able to get a sense for the character personalities and are drawn immediately into the action of the story. This book is well written, fast paced, full of chemistry and entertaining. I highly recommend it!
