Anthroposophical Studies of the New Testament

Rate this book
This series of twelve studies is, in a certain sense, a continuation of the studies on the Old Testament. Just as the latter work focused on the origin of the karma of humankind, this work concentrates on the healing of this karma. In the course of these studies, the author offers deep insights into the spiritual-moral aspects of the nine beatitudes, the Lord's Prayer, the signs or miracles in the Gospels, the Stages of the Passion, and the Mystery of Golgotha -- culminating in the event of Pentecost.

How profoundly moved by this book I was in the past ... However I am neither rating it nor saying much else as the complex issues here cannot be reduced to a soundbites. Suffice it to say the author specifically requested that his early works, of which this book is one, not be republished. This no doubt had much to do with the author's astonishing conversion to Catholicism around 1944. There is however much much more about this at my website which contains an archive of materials related to Tomberg with materials hard to find in the English language. Link here:

Also I pray this post about Rudolf Steiner and Valentin Tomberg may be particularly useful in terms of the above issues:

This is one absolute truth of the meaning the Old Testament has for Humanity.
Abraham the reincarnation of Nimrods friend Enkidu is visited by the Leaders of Eugenic(Spirit,Thought)Occultism The Great Leader of the people who left Atlantis after the egotism of most of the people there caused its destruction). Today the egotism of the super rich and other Mammon worshippers are busy causing their own and many other peoples destruction. What a sad tragedy.I will add to this when I have more time.May God Bless us All and with His mercy the effect the selfish immorality of us humans will hopefully be tempered. All of us should pray and change our evil ways and start Loving each other so our Lord and Master in Heaven will jUDGE US with compassion.
