Selena was born in April 16, 1971. She started working at the age of 8 years old as singing in bars, weddings, restaurants, fairs and more with her band called Selena y Los Dinos. She did not enjoy her childhood back then because her father Abraham Quintanilla tell her and her three brothers to be dedicated Musicians. Selena and her band got popular in the late nineteen-eighties. Then Chris Perez enter in the band in the nineties as the Guitarist and started dating with her and they got married on April 2, 1992. Then Yolanda Saldivar saw Selena in a concert and she then try to contact her or the family and left messeges for them and suddenly Selena's father heard them and contact her and hired her as President of Selena's Fan Club. Then a couple years later the father of Selena alleges that Yolanda Saldivar was stealing money from the fan club and she says that she was not but the problems started that in March 31, 1995 Yolanda told Selena to meet up in an hotel that she was going to give her all her documents so that Selena may check to see if she was stealing but the documents where incomplete missing papers that it was obvious Yolanda did still. Then Selena told her she was fired and got out of the hotel room and Yolanda was going on the back of her with her purse and got her gun out and she shoot Selena. Selena died because she lost a lot of blood. Yolanda then was sentence for life in prison murder and she is still now serving in jail. This was Selena biography.

I like this one . I like the other one that I have better then this one. This one is too short and doesn't tell much about her story about her life and her tragic death. It has been 23 years since she was murdered back in 1995.

Love it! This is one of my favorite books. This book retails the real story of who was Selena and it also consists of her life. This is a book that must-read.
