As one of the co-authors, obviously we give it 5 stars. Seriously, this is the only pocket reference emergency medicine text in evidence-based format.
We wrote it with Residents, PA's, NP's, Emergency Nurses and Emergency Physicians in mind.
It is concise. Everything you need to know about taking care of the topics is at your fingertips. It is extensively referenced & includes validated scoring systems to support clinical decisions.
It's also in full color with great graphics.
This book has been tested in one of the busiest ER's in the nation situated in one of the most violent counties. It's battle tested & already becoming the industry standard text.
Speaking of battle tested - while checking out this book - don't forget my other works such as: "Winning Fights: 12 Proven Principles for Winning on the Street, in the Ring, at Life."
