I found the book informative. I would consider it a valuable resource for believers to learn how to manage wealth, riches and money. However, the authors spend little time teaching how we can acquire wealth, riches and money.

The emphasis of the book is on Defeating the Spirit of Mammon. Given the content in the book, I think that would have been a better title. The authors define wealth, riches and money. No easy task. Talk about managing wealth, riches, and money. But fail to talk about acquiring it.

I gave it a 5 star rating for its content, which I consider extraordinary. But, as a business person reading this book, much is left to be desired on the acquisition of wealth, riches, and money.

Great Insight

This book took some powerful biblical insights and made them applicable for today. I’m glad I read this book. It’s given me a new and better perspective for money.

Wealth, Riches & Money: God’s Biblical Principles of Finance by Craig Hill and Earl Pitts is, as the title says, biblically inspired. I don’t consider myself a Christian, more so, spiritual, but I found it made some intelligent, sensible points. Such as, tithe first, get out of debt, avoid situations of having to pay interest – which they consider just money down the drain, or having a money bag with a hole in the bottom providing leakage of one’s hard-earned money, and creating a ‘closed-circle’ budget. This was one of the most profound points they made. I took a lot of time studying this concept, and am still working on what my closed-circle budget will look like… I’ll get back to you in a year from now and let you know how it worked…

Overall, a great book with great budgeting and financial principles and how to use them.

I highly recommend.

Le livre est intéressant et présente plusieurs principes utiles. Le fait qu'il soit en français est aussi un plus. Néanmoins, il y a plusieurs principes non-bibliques élevés en lois qui font que le livre perd de sa valeur.

A very clear explanation of the purpose of many, according to God. I learned so much. I plan to read the book again, as there are still things I do not quite understand.
