Oh my!!!

Just when I thought it would fizzle out- it gets even hotter! We pick up exactly where we left off in book 2. Ellie is as stubborn as ever and is determined to save Jarron herself.

The group bands together and go off for a top secret rescue mission, what could possibly go wrong!! With her new powers developing at inopportune times and hormone levels at their peak we set of to save Jarron and to bring down Paris/Ceres at the same time.

Absolutely love the plot to this story and the characters (4 dragons and a Phoenix) are amazing! I’ve always been team Jarron but this book helps us get to “feel” Drake a little bit more. After a few chapters you really do get a sense of how much they mean to each other and how integral they become to one another’s beings.

The characters work so well together and it reads beautifully. The tie in between all the books is super fluid and easy to piece together. These books are great reads for anyone that loves a paranormal romance hook, shifters, or dragons. The main characters all have a bit of bite to hem and say to last for days. The heroine is not some shrinking violet and she wants to play just as rough as the boys. Really good read, easy and fun to boot!

Ellie isn’t not sure why but she knows that everyone must stay together! In this installment of the series you will follow the group on a rescue mission to get Jarron out of Rydaim. That in its self sounds risky enough having the phoenix and two dragons who are “dead” enter the lion’s den… well the dragons cave (but whatever), but they are entering without all the information. Ellie is adamant that everyone stays together…. Go in…. get Jarron…. get out. But going in was as far as they get before the plan crumbles before them. This story is filled with shocking twists along with new revelations and characters that keep you craving for more! I cant wait for Flame of the Phoenix to find out what happens next!!!

Oh my! My mind did simply blow I think (or it did not). I was ready for surprises, I learned that I need to be ready for surprises while reading books of this author. But it was more surprising than ever. There are some soo steamy scenes, not only the ones involving phoenix/dragon fire. New characters. New secrets. New plans that go into crumbles. Oh and all the standard stuffs, like.. ohh you know.. unexpected revelations or new powers or secrets and even more secrets.. As I said “standard”.. whom am I kidding, nothing standard in here... and at the end we are left just there.. hanging.. waiting for last book (which I did already pre-ordered).. I love this series.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

Man, these books keep on getting better. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. So much was happening though it was a bit hard to tell which way was up. Danger is around every corner for Ellie, her Dragons and Zoe and it’s hard to know who they can trust. Jarron is trapped in Rydiam and has been t*rtured and held captive by his father the Dragon King who is actually a puppet for Parris the Vampire Leader and Dabria a power hungry w*nch and is after the throne and was planning to use Killian to get it but as soon as he met Ellie he knew his heart belonged to her. Ellie, Killian, Drake and Zoe plan a rescue mission for Jarron but it’s the worse place for any of them especially Ellie but she’s determined to go and that they should all stick together but that plan completely backfires pretty much straight away when they’re separated. I’m really looking forward to reading the next book and seeing how everyone is going to get out of the danger/trouble they’re currently in, finding a way to make it back to each other and hopefully being a step closer to defeating the Dragon King, Parris, Dabria and all the bad guys after them as there seems to be a lot of them. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

I would have given this book 4 stars, the 1st and 2nd book would have been 5 stars, as the characters and plot are very well done and the story is quite fun and attention getting. However, I didn't like this book as well as the others, the story just wasn't as entertaining.

However, the book badly needs a proofreader and/or editor as there are many grammar errors, tense of verbs poorly done (too many "was" that should have been "were" and such), as well as extra words, missing words (sentences that clearly should be negative missing the negative word). and incorrect words for the context. I found these errors distracting from the story itself through all the books I've read so far, possibly because I am a proofreader myself. Pity as otherwise I would have rated it higher.

The book that keeps on giving

So, a lot has happened and developed throughout Rise of the Witch and Fall of the Dragon. Well, let me just say, that was nothing! In Flight of the King, Elliot is determined for everyone to stay together, but nothing can ever be as easy as that. The trio travel to Rydaim and that's as far as the plan makes it. The rest of the time includes jaw dropping reveals, ah ha moments, new characters and WTF. Flame of the Phoenix is going to have to take us even further, and I can't wait to continue this adventure!

Possible execution, destroying a vampire, saving her mates and more...

Ellie , Killian, Drake and Zoe are on their way to save Jarron only to find out that it is Killian along with Jarron who are to be executed. With Drake and Zoe leading a vampire on a wild goose chase, it is up to Ellie to save both Killian and Jarron from execution and Parris. When she poofs them to an unknown cave, they may be in more danger. Will she be able to save herself and her mates?

More adventure, danger and mystery with each new power that Ellie finds out about herself.

Amazing!!!

I swear this series gets better and better with each book, and Flight of the King is no exception. Author Rebecca Ethington has written an action packed novel full of bombshells and cliff hangers, and for every question answered three more take its place. I haven't been this excited to read the next book in a series in ages!!

This is book 3 in the series. The series started really well, the characters are fun, the writing was good, some how that got a bit less here. It felt that the story was going on a bit longer than it should. I was still enjoying the book, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't as intriguing as the first two books.

I love how Rebecca starts her books right where the last book ended. So you don’t miss a beat of what’s going on in the story. This book blew me away! What an exciting, nail bitting read! I did not want to put this book down for anything.

Continues to amaze you

So much going on, with the plot thickening with every page! Ellie’s character is growing as you go on with such mystery of what and who she truly is. Twists and turns that you never expect to happen.

Circus of shifters

Too long. Too introspective. Very wordy where less would be better. Premise of story is good but... get to it.

On boy

And things got even more interesting, or is that messed up? We are all over the place, Ellie needs to get herself together and remember things properly.

Umm, while I am intrigued by Elliot’s story, I am confused about how this can be listed as a RH. There has been 1 scene in 3 books with one brother...and it was seriously lacking. I will likely read the 4th and final installment, but come on.
