Cyrus and Sammy are so perfect together. He has loved her for years but she was only sixteen so he has to wait. Loved the feisty heroine and the caveman hero. I thought it was super romantic that her one true love was her first kiss and her first everything! Adorable epilogue with 3 kids and pregnant heroine!

I was afraid that this was going to be a book with pushing away and that was not the case. Book 2 starts a week after book 1 ends. I love that he finally goes after the girl but I want my heroes to be alpha and go for what they want. I felt for her they she thought he didn't want her, all while she loved him so much. When he finally gets it together they are full steam and classic AR
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-no violence
-instalove- even though it wasn't acted on until years later
-safe - neither were with others after they met.
-good epilogue that gave us a good glimpse into their future. I would love a story about their children!

Wow this one is short. We got the start (or middle) of Sammy and Cyrus’s story in His Paradise. Here we get the background. The reason Sammy is tormenting him despite the fact that she loves him.

El refran que dice que las segundas partes no son buenas no se puede aplicar a esta novela, puesto que esta continuacion me gusto bastante mas que la historia de Nicole y Liam.
La relacion de Sammy y Cyrus es divertida, dulce y graciosa, ademas tenia tanto potencial que de haber sido mas larga se podia haber convertido en una de mis novelas favoritas de este duo.

Sammy has loved Cyrus since she set eyes on him when she was sixteen, only after a near kiss he crushed her heart when he said that nothing could happen between them. Fast forward six years and she is still harbouring the resentment against him for her broken heart and no matter what he does she won give him a chance. That is until Nikki tells her it’s time to take that chance. Stop wasting time and be happy. Can she really have her happily ever after with the man that she has always wanted?
Cyrus fell at Sammy’s feet the moment they met literally and he knew that she was meant to be his future, she was too young at only sixteen he knew he had to wait and with her brother being his best friend he didn’t want to come between them so he did the noble thing and stood aside not realising the damage he was doing to his future. He was always going to come back for Sammy she was born to be his but now he has to find a way past the walls that she has built against him. She is his everything and nothing will keep him from her.
This is a great sweet and sexy story of a true love and all her firsts, loved the epilogue. I wouldn’t say that you need to read His paradise before this one but you should. Safe read with all the feels.

Cyrus met Sammy when she was too young for him, so he thought. Her brother had brought him home when they were on military leave because Cyrus had no family. It was love at first sight for both of them. Cyrus was nineteen and Sammy only sixteen. He broke her heart when he wouldn't have anything to do with her (because of her age.) When she watched him walk away with her brother after their leave was over she was broken.
Cyrus was determined to wait for Sammy to grow up but when he cruelly rejected. It broke her heart and she just couldn't forgive him for that. She didn't understand and he didn't bother to explain his plan...stupid man!!! It always angers me when only one party knows what's going on and the other hasn't a clue. He could have saved her years of pain had he just talked to her. I thought it was frustrating that he didn't tell her what he was feeling and the plans he had for them. Instead he allowed her to feel the sting of rejection way too long and by the time he got out of the military years later she was no longer speaking to him and it just killed him. Personally, I thought it was a bit of justice for how he rejected her instead of explaining his plan. After a woman lives with heartbreaking rejection for years, well, what did he expect?
He was hurt and sad that she never wrote or sent him care packages while he was in the service like she did her brother. She had promised him she would but then he broke her heart so she didn't. He was upset he never heard from her...yet, he never once bothered to write her as she worried about him and her brother every single day.
This hero was very immature for his age and instead of communicating with the woman he loved - when he left the military he shows up on the island where she lives and got a job there as sheriff. Then he does stupid stuff to get her attention like....wait for it...he pretends he got shot and his heart has stopped and ends up making her madder than she already was.
Just immature games in my opinion. This book did have a lovely epilogue with toddlers, babies and pregnancy. For me it was the only thing that saved this book...oh yes, and lots of sex. I could have done with more substance.

Enjoyed Cyrus and Sammy's sweet but sexy quick love story. That little trip that Cyrus pulled on Sammy was hilarious! Glad they got their HEA alongside Liam and Nikki in "His Paradise." Wondering if Sammy's brother, Derick will get a story in this series.
Three epilogues... loved them all!

Sammy first met Cyrus Walsh when she was sixteen years old and her brother, Derick who was in the Marines brought him home on leave to Dynasty Island. She fell head over heels for him the moment she met him and knew they were destined to be together. Cyrus was captivated by Sammy but he couldn’t do anything at the time because she was only sixteen and he was being deployed again. They both handled the situation the wrong way but Sammy acted like a petulant child even after Cyrus came back. When Cyrus and Derick retire from the Marines Cyrus decides to move to Dynasty Island and he becomes the island’s Sheriff. Instead of admitting their feelings for one another they both act like little bitches. She plays pranks on him after drinking too much and he chases off any guys interested in her. He finally mans up and after playing a messed up prank on her they go on a date. It was sweet how he bought the house he knew she loved and had three ovens put in the kitchen because she loved to bake. Then he convinced the owner of the only bakery on the island to sell and he bought the place for Sammy. All that is great but he still should’ve manned up earlier.

This is Sammy, Nikki’s best friend, and Cyrus, the town sheriff. This books starts with a prologue and a 16 year old Sammy crushing on her brothers military buddy Cyrus. He lets her know they can’t be together because of her age and she does not handle it well...of course she’s only 16, so that’s probably why, but fast forward about 6 years and she’s still not handling it well. He finally breaks her down, to give him a chance, but personally there was to much time apart for me.
This was a safe read, even during the long separation, which I appreciated. A virgin, a shit ton of baby batter, great epilogues and an hea.

Después del final del primer libro, donde Cyrus gasta una broma un tanto pesada a Sammy solo con la intención de que ella confiese su amor, Sammy le da la ley del hielo. Pero Cyrus no puede soportarlo: las bromas, los gritos y los insultos puede aceptarlos pero la indiferencia no. Así que si ella no viene a él, tendrá que ir a buscarla a cualquier rincón en el que se encuentre.
Esta historia en el primer libro era divertida pero como salió tanto en el primero este se hizo demasiado rápido. Si ya de por sí son rápidos los libros de estas autoras imaginaros. Aún así me ha encantado y Cyrus me mata de risa manteniendo la valla pintada de rosa 7 meses 😂

"Her Paradise" is the story of Sammy and Cyrus.
I know this one picks off where "His Paradise" ends, but I'm guessing this was initially meant to be a short added story at the end of book 1- that's why it was so extremely to the point and bam-wham-HEA.
We know Sammy, our sweet heroine, and Cyrus, the marine and her brother's best friend have always been attracted to each other. And in this they give into the attraction.
What I can say about this one is
-VERY short
-The build up in the last book was better than the execution in this one

Cute, if you haven't read the previous book you wont get the true enemies to lovers vibe so I suggest that 100%. This was super short but again a lot of their romance was in the book before it. Fun quickie happy read.

I highly recommend reading His Paradise first as you'll meet Cyrus and Sammy in there and get a peek into their struggle.

This is book 2 in the duo and we get Sammy's story. Sammy is Nikki’s best friend(we got Nikki's story in bk 1) and Cyrus is the town sheriff. This books starts with a angsty prologue about a 16 year old Sammy crushing on her brother's military friend Cyrus. He lets her know they can’t be together because of her age which unfortunately she does not handle well--- fast forward about 6 years and she’s still not handling it well. What is awesome is how Cyrus never gave up on his "Little Sunshine". When the time was right, Cyrus made his move. Sammy never quit loving him. Their steamy and sweet love story is a classic AR read. This was hot, sexy and fun. I liked how both stories intermixed and how in the epilogue gave way for more stories to be told. I love the Paradise series and Alexa Riley wrote a fabulous duo of stories.

Her Paradise by Alexa Riley was a nice surprise by this writing duo. It was actually such a sweet and charming book. Still have one sexy and totally protective and possessive alpha male, but the overall story was more on the adorable side. We first met Cyrus Walsh and Sammy in His Paradise, however, each can be as standalones. But I guarantee you will wat to read both!
Sammy has loved Cyrus since the first time her brother brought him home for a visit. But she was only sixteen. Cyrus did the right thing and walked away. But he is back to stay now and nothing will keep him from having what is his and Sammy is all his. But how does she prove it to her? Her Paradise was sweet, charming, sexy and a very quick read.

When Cyrus got out of the marines, he knew the one place he wanted to go was to the island to be with Sammy. Only when he got there he had a less that warm welcome from her. Still hurt by what happened all those years ago to her young heart, Sammy fights her feels towards Cyrus and does everything she can to rile him up!! But don’t fret, he does everything he can to push back. A year has passed since he has returned and enough is enough.... Cyrus is going to make Sammy see that they belong together.

Sammy and Cyrus! Whats not to love about sassy Sammy mouthing off to this alpha male type who thinks he can order her around. Entertaining story. I think Sammy may be one of my favorite FMC's written by these authors. I will say that we didn't really get to see much of the events that happened in book one. This was both good and bad.. good that we weren't basically on repeat the whole time but bad too because I would have loved to have been behind the scenes for most of those scenes.
Sammy has been pining for Cyrus since her brother drug him home from the Marines, but she is just too young. Cyrus has been biding his time against Sammy's wishes, of course, for her to come of age so she can be his. Their sassy courtship ensues starting as soon as Sammy comes of age. Sammy isn't quite in the forgiving mood after Cyrus makes her wait.. and shes bound to make him pay..
And you get a happy ever after... and you get a happy ever after... oh and you.. over there.. guess what you get a happy ever after!!
