In their bleak prison hometown their very name was a curse and everyone expected the boys would follow the same path as the vicious generations that came before them.
But everyone was proven wrong.
And on this wedding day of dreams they will all gather to watch one of their beloved daughters marry her prince.
It was all going to be perfect.
The day was not supposed to end in tragedy.

I'm a huge fan of insta-love , grunge era flannel, my vintage Kenmore sewing machine, embroidered dishcloths and absolutely everything that has to do with 1980s pop culture (i.e. leg warmers, scrunchies, big hair, early Madonna, boom boxes, wood paneled walls, stonewash jeans, etc).

If you believe in Happily Ever After and improbable love stories, chances are I'll love you too!!

Every time I read a Cora Brent Gentry book I'm reminded why I love these books. This family is unique and reading about them is always a joy. This book was heart wrenching and at the same time beautiful. I can't wait for what comes next for the Gentrys. If you have read the previous books, this one is a must read. If you haven't, start at the beginning with Draw, or start with this new younger generation with Strike.

The Gentry family are one of my favourites & as far as i’m concerned Cora can do no wrong with them, every book has you feeling everything from happiness to sadness in the blink of an eye. This family has had more than its fair share of troubles but thats what makes this a great series. Bravo Cora look forward to more of these amazing Gentry’s.

First off, if you are a Gentry fan, this book is a MUST READ.
Second, I was a little scared diving into it. I love the Gentry's so much, I knew something bad was going to happen in this novella. I just didn't want to read it. I did read it. It wasn't what I expected it to be and I was happy.

The alternate POV's of Curtis and Dalton really bring the two guys together a lot more. It's Cami's wedding day to Dalton and nothing could go wrong or could it? With family gathered all around on her special day, she's the perfect bride. What can possibly go wrong for the Gentry's.

Dalton's family is there to see him marry Cami. Small talk with his older brother Hale has him wondering what's going on in Hale's life. The man is a mystery. With hale by his side, Dalton has nothing to worry about, or does he?

Curtis notices certain while being around the Gentry's. The younger generations have stuck out to him and he keeps an eye on a few of them. When one of them raises a red flag, Curtis questions it and himself about telling someone.

Cassie is the perfect sister and girlfriend. She's there for everyone including her family. When her cousin Izzy, Deck and Jenny's daughter is rushed to the hospital, Cassie makes sure the reception goes on.

When tragedy strikes the Gentry's, Tremaine's and Mulligan's, everyone comes together to be there. Even if this tragedy brings out secrets of the one person who can't defend themselves. With a life lost, a family trying to do what's right, and one person who is trying to wrap their head around all the information being given, one person steps up to be the friend they need.

While everything is going on seems like chaos in the world of Gentry, Curtis realizes it's time to take a risk. A risk that leads to happy families coming together. It even brings back Tristen, Curtis and Brecken's brother.

Keep summed up a lot of in a packed novella. It was heartbreaking, and fulfilling all at the same time. By the end, you want more.

I'm telling you...I'm obsessed with EVERYTHING Gentry.

This Novella packs in all the feels, giving us more from all our favourites whilst leaving us desperate for another fix.
It was an angsty, emotional rollercoaster. I'm not gonna lie I was feeling nervous from reading that blurb but WOW what a story.

It's easy to get swept away in the Gentry world. They're exactly the kind of family everyone wants to be a part of.
They stand together no matter what and that's why I bloody love them so much.
I really enjoyed getting more from Dalton and Curtis.

Once you get sucked into this amazing series you'll be a fan for life.
I'm already excited for what's instore next. There's never a dull moment with this lot that's for sure.

Only Cora Brent could match GOT in terms of most unexpected wedding moment!!! If you know this author, she did warn this was coming, but we went in anyway looking forward to Dalton and Cassie’s special day. I cannot possible do with review justice and not spoil it so I will leave you some some parting nonspoiler nuggets. Everything Gentry is divine so this is no exception. Cora Brent is my Godness and I need Test… like now!!! Keep was nothing and everything I needed and expected and wouldn’t change it for the world.

OMG....the blurb set up the anticipation. What the heck was going to happen?

Chapter 1......whaaaaaat?! Teasing the anticipation. I could burst. I thought I knew.

Chapter 2.......now I've changed my mind.

OHMYGAAAAAAAAAWD.

And the story unfolds.....And it really does unfold!!

As usual in this series, there are happy moments, sexy moments and sad moments all wrapped up in this author's fantastic words.

The Gentrys RULE!

Absolutely Fanfreckingtastic.
My all time favourite family is back with another book, I couldn't be happier.
I was pulled into the story right from the beginning and stayed there until the end of the book, watching it play out in my head as I read the words on the pages.
There are surprises awaiting you within the pages of this book and OMG what surprises they are, I definitely didn't see one of them coming and I got a total shock with a couple of the surprises.
I was taken on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster with this book, in fact at one point I was crying that much I had to put the book down. If you are anything like me tissues are a must for this book. The emotions that all the characters go through, I felt right along with them, at times they really pulled on my heart strings.
I can promise you if you are waiting to read this book you will not be disappointed once again Cora Brent has penned a fantastic story once that I definitely am pleased I have read.
The Gentry's is one of my favourite families to read about, from the first book to this one I have loved the journey this family has been on and is still going on and am happy to be on that ride with the.
I highly recommend this book, but I would say if you haven't read any of the books, start with book one and work your way through them you will not be disappointed and you will learn about the Gentry family and the things they have done to get to where we are now in there incredible journey.
I have never read a book by Cora Brent that I have not enjoyed and I think I have read every thing she has written to date.
Cora Brent thank you for your books and for sharing them with us.

Sighhh.... the Gentry's.

This one is told from the POV of Curtis and Dalton, and seriously... I was so glad to get more of them.
Dalton was all set to marry Cami and we get a misty-eye'd, gorgeous overprotective dad in Cord, and all the guys show up with their kids and remind you why you fell in love with this big crazy family that started with those three boys who had nothin and nobody but each other.

The day goes off without a hitch, but there are a few little bumps along the way that Curtis or Dalton take notice of. But they don't seem big enough to warrant any problems. That is until after the wedding when tragedy strikes and one of the two guys lose someone important. I will not lie, I was apprehensive about jumping into this one. I was scared to death who it would be, and as it turns out, it didn't matter, it was equally as heartbreaking, no matter who it was. But when tragedy strikes, this big ol family rallies.

I loved seeing the relationship develop with Curtis and Dalton who fell in love with Cord and Saylor's twins, Cami and Cassie. They were kind of stuck together seeing as their women were twins and all, but in this one, we see them become brothers. I loved that, especially when it was needed so badly after the loss.

I will admit, Tristan earned a little bit of points from me since he showed up, but I still remember him being a gigantic brat and I know his book is coming up, so I'm hoping he's doin some soul searchin in these inbetween his turn books.

Overall though, a lot happened in this short story of weddings and heartache and family and consequenses that are yet to be seen.... but I'm so glad I read it. I'm so glad the family is continuing on and we still get more of all of them.
5 stars from me. I love them all !

On the wedding day of Camille Gentry and Dalton Tremaine everything is picture perfect. With this special couple sharing their incomparable love with those who mean the most to them, the celebration is everything they could have hoped for and more...

Until the unthinkable happens...

Warning: I think every Gentry novella that Cora Brent releases is determined to make you ugly cry. The storyline of Keep follows several points of view and covers many interlocking stories in the tragic events that take place.

With a sad, and yet beautiful story of love and life as we know it, Keep is a must read if you love all things Gentry.

This book needs 6 Stars! WHY ISN’T THERE A 6 STAR FEATURE!!??!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m crazy obsessed and in love with everything Gentry and this book just made the obsession even worse! (If that’s even possible at this point)

I love Cora Brent and the Gentry Clan sooo hard <3

From reading the blurb I was anxiously/exciting waiting for Keep. Cora has such an incredible talent writing such beautiful stories. <3

I really enjoyed reading from such two strong characters POV weve gotten to know early on in the Gentry Generations. I feel as if it made the story that much more special.

There were so many moments where I said, “oh my gosh!” Or “no Cora why!!?” She definitely kept me on my toes!

She has this way with words. I almost can’t explain it. It’s just incredible.

My heart ached while reading this book. But the good kind of ache. <3

This story is full of angst, heartbreak, fear, and so many twists and turns.

Keep is definitely one of my favorite books by Cora <3

Thank you for everything you do Cora <3

Sigh 😍 I love every single word in this Gentry Generations novella, even the sad part.
Yes, there is sadness here, it wouldn't be Gentry without some!
This particular novella is a follow up to Strike and Turn so shouldn't be read if you haven't read these first. 'Hint' read them first 😁
This is a two hander using the voices of Dalton Tremaine and Curtis Mulligan, respective beaus of Camille and Cassie Gentry. It's a really refreshing approach to hear from supposed secondary voices. It rounds out the original stories and I loved both men's pov.
This is almost a ridiculously romantic story and it will certainly give you the warm and fuzzies by the time you've read the final word.
I loved the little snippets of old and new characters. It just whets the appetite for what comes next in the series.

Now comes the wait. I know Cora will produce another excellent story and the wait will be worth it.

When it comes to this series i'm insatiable!! I can never get enough!!

This is a novella told in dual POV of Curtis and Dalton.

I'm scared of ruining this for anyone else so i won't say anything about the plot i think the blurb and the teases have given enough away.

I can tell you there's love and laughter, tears and heartbreak, romance and surprises and bit of mystery all packed into this amazing novella.

I absolutely loved it. As i said i'm insatiable when it comes to this family. It's such an amazing storyline that leads us onto the next book. What a book it's going to be!! With the surprises in here it leads up perfectly to that.

I had so many emotions running through me while reading it's a good job my heart had been filled up before the sorrow came otherwise i may have rocked in the corner a sobbing mess. I shed a few tears instead lol. I am gutted about one part that happens, you'll see why and i may have wanted to make Ms Brent take it back!! She broke me. Again!! But in all honesty it's a good twist.

I'm so excited for the next book. I will never get enough of this family. I just love them they're like my own!!!

Brilliant as usual!!

I absolutely loved the latest book in the Gentry Generations series. We get to be a part of the wedding of Dalton and Cami. Sharing this special occasion with family and friends...its a day that will always be remembered fondly. That all changes when tragedy strikes the family. The Gentry's will band together and support each other only as family can. I am a huge fan of the Gentry boys and every one of them has a special place in my heart. It was great to revisit this wonderful family. I laughed, ugly cried, swooned, and just immensely enjoyed every bit of this story. It was great how the book explored Curtis and Dalton's relationship...I liked the bond they were building with each other. I can't wait to read more from the Gentry family and I highly recommend this book to everyone. Well done!!

Wow Ms. Brent you have done it again. I love this series and can’t get enough of the entire Gentry clan and their extended family. You definitely surprised me with Keep. I’m hoping you will surprise me again and the death is not real. We finally get Cami’s wedding, but then tragedy happens and it’s a shock(sorry you have to read to find out) and then some more happiness (again you got to read). I don’t give spoilers. Simply know you will be happy, cry and then happy again. Cora Brent has another 5 star book, I loved every single page and I am looking forward to more. You do need to read the books in order to understand the family dynamic and follow along in some really great stories. Thanks for writing great books for me to get lost in. I highly recommend Keep and every other book in the series. So go one click.

A novella in the Gentry Family Saga that started with the Gentry Boys and has expanded to their kids and cousins.
The author always does a great job setting the stage so you don't necessarily have to have read any of the other books but it is highly recommended. You have a better insight and feel for the characters and are able to empathize more with each character.
No matter the drama the main theme is family sticks together and takes care of one another. Family is very important. You aren't complete without family, by blood or choice, family is necessary.
Cora Brent appears to be a well rounded author who is able to speak to her audience. I can't wait for the next book.

Love them Gentry Boys!!!!

I just started reading Cora Brent, and over the past week on vacation I have read each and every single Gentry book!! I love reading books that are part of a series but sometimes the books can get very repetitious. This series however DID NOT!! It was great Cora gave a brief summary of everything and the characters in each book for those who were not familiar with the series other than that each book was different in a good way. I'm sad that I've finished the last book and am waiting for the next. I really recommend the Gentry boys!! It's hot and sexy and romantic with a little edge to it. I'm really hoping Cora will continue to write about the cousin's and of course the remaining sister of Cord and Saylor... Thank you Cora.....

The Gentry clan

I choose the five star rating because there's no 6. I have fallen in love with this family. Now I am going to the beginning and wish I had known before, I always like to start at the beginning of series. I have the first 4 books in a bundle. It took a little getting used to the back and forth between characters but I think I have it now. Can't wait to get to what I now consider the first generation of the good guys. Thanks for being on ku. But I did buy the first 4 bundle . Would be interested in the whole series of the Gentry clan in a bundle. God bless. Oh yes I live in Yuma and one son lives in Tempe. So it's always good to read local authors. Really enjoyed all of the characters. So wish Hale had survived but then it would have been a different story.

OMG these Gentry men and the women who rule them...I absolutely LOVE them all. This one started out sweet and cute and then got dark and bittersweet real quick and my heart was breaking for two families who suffered losses. Cora Brent really knows how to twist up those heartstrings and leaves you begging for more. After this book ends you will be left needing to know what will happen to a character who turned a family inside out with grief by his thoughtless actions but I am sure we will get a satisfying conclusion to that mystery.
Prepare to laugh, cry and of course, swoon...because let's face it, these men are all so delish =)

five wonderful stars to Cora Brent who has mastered writing about love and family, the good and the bad. this book hits with tragedy hard, but it is so real it could happen to anyone. However, as you know she always has Twists and darkness before you get the to the love and light. I didn't want to put this book down and it was simply wonderful. If you haven't read the Gentry boys and their families, you should one click all of them. I have never been disappointed at all in her stories and this one brings the emotions to the front just like any of the other ones. this is a honest review for a book that I volunteered to read, but you know I one clicked it

Amazing continuation of the Gentry family

I could not wait to read this book, and it did not disappoint. It is told in dual POV by Curtis and Dalton, Cassie and Cami’s hot men. Love getting inside their heads. This is a page turner because the Author weaves the story so you think one person is going to die, or maybe this person, and then it is completely shocking when it happens. But there are a couple of surprises . And we get a little bit of info on who the next book is about. Yay Derek. Test is going to be a bumpy ride. This is absolutely a 5 Star read. Highly recommend this. Everyone needs to know the Gentry Boys and their families.

This is the most amazing family.

I love the two viewpoints that this story is told through. Often times, we see this story (the Gentry story) through the eyes of the Gentry's and their significant others. While this is still from the s/o view points, there is no Gentry voice. Its told through Dalton and Curtis. I love that!!!

Storywise, I love the emotional ups and downs of this story. The way this family is so intertwined, and willing to do whatever is needed for each other is truly amazing. Also, Cora can't write a bad book as far as I'm concerned, and I'm so excited to read Test now!

Oh good grief! My heart!

I am sitting here with ALL THE FEELS!

So here's how this went...I started this book on my lunch break and I get to the most pivotal moment and have to stop reading! What?!!! Do I really need to work? Can I quit and just read forever? What a dream!

But seriously I get home and start reading again and don't stop. My heart in my throat. Just waiting. WHAT'S COMING NEXT?

Because I'm already broken, why not kick me while I'm down?

Holy shiitake mushrooms. I felt every stinkin' emotion. This Gentry family owns my heart. Ahhhh!! I will say I was left with a smile. So I'm okay but daaaaaang. The rollercoaster ride I was just on. 💗

Since I've read every book in this series, I never thought anything would break my heart the way that Cross did. And then I read Keep. The blurb should have been the indication that this book was going to be an emotional rollercoaster but it was definitely more than I was expecting.

There is no way to share any of the plot without spoiling this novella. This book is typical Gentrys. Family, loyalty, and unwavering support. I love the Gentry family and can't wait to see what's next for them.

This quick read was a great addition to the Gentry series. The story told from Dalton and Curtis’s POV was something I did not expect. The story moved quickly and had a few twists that I didn’t see coming but could only guess about in the beginning of the book. This story was in true Gentry fashion with the whole family and was an enjoyable story. I can’t wait to see what is in store for this series next but have a few guesses. I would recommend this book to others.

What an awesome addition to the Gentry books. Ugh this one excels at providing an emotional journey that I have come to expect from Cora Brent. Loved that the POV is from the two guys marrying into the Gentry Clan. They both make for an interesting and spicy addition (wink wink) and know how to keep things interesting with Cord’s twin daughters. Umm you should prepare for some angst and heartbreak. So yes I was a mess by the end of this story. Also plan to be left feeling an intense craving for the next in the series. Warning: It is subtle so pay attention. I feel thoroughly teased which is probably the evil genius of this author. Happy Reading!

I started reading this book late last night and almost finished it but at 3:00 am couldn’t stay awake any longer. I love the Gentry brothers series and this novella was great! Often when I read books I can sort of tell what’s going to happen but Cora Brent wrote this book perfectly to keep you guessing in the beginning. I was happy she incorporated all of the Gentry family and I really hope that she continues with this series! I would love to read a book about Tristan-hoping that is in the future.

Cora never disappoints, like EVER. The newest Gentry installation is no different. If I could give more than 5* I totally would. I absolutely loved how all the angles intertwined. This one will definitely take you on a journey that keeps you turning the pages. The story is tragic and beautiful and gut wrenching all at once. This book will leave you wanting more.... immediately! I hope that we continue to see the Gentry's for a long time because I never want to see them go! Another winner for sure!
