Rate this book

Startup Easy is a step by step guide for entrepreneurs to raise their startups in an easy manner. It is the World's first Author Assisted Book (Live Book) for Startup Entrepreneurs. The language used in this book is extremely simple with lifelike examples. Startup Easy is divided in two parts: Essentials & Fundraising. The essentials is the first part that is includes the basics that you need to learn before understanding the second part: Fundraising. You must read this book if you are starting a new business, raising funds or scaling up your startup.

The Author is a well known Investment Banker for startups having global ratings of 5 out of 5 and ranking among top 20 consultants for venture capital. Shishir Gupta is a Startup Lawyer, Investment Banker, Full Stack Developer and Startup Consultant. He has more than 18 years of business experience in different domains along with consulting experience of startups. He thought of writing this book when he found that there is no book for entrepreneurs that explains the simple concepts of startups like disruption, traction, co-founder, hacker, hustler, hipster, angel investment etc. He also found that the business books are written by successful entrepreneurs, however the language is complex and connect with the readers is not much. This book is carefully written after considering the experience of Author in advising the real entrepreneurs.

This book is for everybody, and anybody who wish to explore the vast topic of startups and become entrepreneurs or have the knowledge of startup entrepreneurship. This is not a management book, therefore you won't be learning about accounting concepts or management topics like recruitment, selection, communication, motivation, planning, marketing, sales etc. In fact, this book covers what is left by the management books.

After reading this book, you will understand each and everything in the startup world.

I don’t like to read books. But, this one was by an accident. I failed three times as a founder. I tried to run my first startup in technology and fashion, it failed within 4 months. My second startup was EdTech, it failed too, the only product that I sold was my personal iPhone (too cover up my living cost, lol). Then the third one, it was a dating app for hyper-sexual people. That too failed, despite of good revenue.

After the failure of my third startup, I was pissed off with my life. I wanted to go back and be a student or may be move far away from the city, so that nobody shames me. Everybody who looked at me, made me feel like a looser. My Dad, started pressurizing me to get married.

I was totally disturbed, I tried to keep calm and made so many mistakes.

I heard about a new book for startups through my friend, Rashi who was working with a startup in Bengaluru. She told me that I must read that book and it will change the way I look at business.
I downloaded a kindle version with heavy heart, I don’t have Kindle hardware so I downloaded Kindle app on my phone, it works pretty good. It was amazing to see that the author talked about failures so nicely, in fact failures are treated like success in the book. This book made me smile, it made me laugh, it made me learn the basics without getting bored. I never thought books could be so much fun.

You have to read it to believe it, no wonder it’s the bestseller in business category at Amazon India.

No wonder, this book is good in US. I swear, you will like this book. I liked it so much.
