Rishi Sinha has never had anything handed to him on a silver platter. With a poor financial situation, no proper education and a childhood that was stolen from him way too soon, it’s safe to say he just doesn’t have the right luck.

What he does have, though, is a dream. A dream to someday own a luxury car. More specifically, an Audi. He dreams of making his family proud, of making himself proud, of showing to the world that no matter how meagre your beginnings are, you can accomplish anything and everything you set your mind to.

He carries this dream forward all through his teenage years to adulthood, from BCA to MBA, from one job to the next, from amazing friendships to a devastating heartbreak. Rishi sees both faces of the coin.

This is the story of a young man who won’t let anything stand in the way of his dream. He won’t let anyone convince him otherwise. He wants his dream car, and he’ll get there somehow.

This is the story of how he chased his dream wheels.

Chasing Wheels is a contemporary novel about living your dreams and finding happiness even in the darkest of times.

This is the story of a young boy Rishi who at the standard of second dropped his studies because of his family condition. He always used to dream of having a Car and he also wish to study more. Some years have passed out, now one well wisher adviced him to join 10th standard in Pvt. He also done with great interest and successfully he completed his schooling and joined in college. There in the college he made lot of friends and he also fell in love. The story is about:-
- whether Rishi will follow his dream? Will he able to buy a four wheeler?
- how can he tackle the surrounding in the college?

The story is written well and the concept is also different. It is mixed with joy and sorrow. The story is completely about a life of poor and how he struggle to come up in his life. It's penned in the way of inspiring and motivating. I really loved this book, it is such a good book every must read.

My book for this weekend of Diwali was Chasing wheels.

This book speaks of a boy Rishi Sinha from a lower middle class family in Bihar who attempts to find his dream of owning and Audi A4. The story starts with his father falling terribly sick and all their income and savings going down the drain leaving no money for him or his brother to go to school and days were really tough back then. Gradually he works very hard and passes is matriculation exams which 56% marks and enroles himself in a CBSE English Medium School and try is his level best to get a high percentage and qualify his Higher Secondary examination.

Then we see the protagonist of the story moving to Pune to study Bachelor of Business Administration in Bharati Vidyapeeth. Due to lack of seats he and Rolls himself in bachelor of computer applications which he has no clue. Gradually studying very hard with his friends he secured the 7th rank in the first semester. Later we see him becoming the topper along with his love life.Fate has its own way to crumble once confidence and self esteem. The love of his life has to break up with him as she is forced by her MLA father and mother to marry into a high society groom and settle outside leaving her bank job that she had acquired by studying masters of Business Administration. terribly broken and disheartened Rishi decides to move on and study MBA and get a decent job to get an Audi A4 for himself which was his dream car. Gradually he overcome his grief over the loss of his love and focuses his entire attention over his career and the dream car he had aspired to buy some day.he bought and Alto and before that he had a 16 year old second hand scooter. These were stepping stones in getting to buy the Audi A4. His mother had often come to Pune and relished the luxury of her son owning an Alto. Rishi had always thought that one day he will make his father proud and make sure his father is sitting beside him in his car while he drives it. unfortunately one day as receivers at his office he comes to know his father had been rushed to the nearest hospital and later we see that his father expires. 2 years later he tries very hard and works extra hours at his office to give the downpayment for his Audi A4 and in the end we see him driving one.

The book has been written in the simplest of the language possible and is comprehensive to any Lay man who has Limited knowledge of English. There is no ornamentation in the language making it very relatable which cuss words thrown here and there in disarray. the story hints at the perseverance and motivation along with some hard work which is required to fulfill one's dream and aspirations throughout one's life. It says that dreams are inevitable and one has to work terribly hard to fulfill that and have a grinning smile at the end of the day. This particular book is a light read and is good for one reading with some morals guiding the way back home. The title is very catchy along with the cover which is animated. All the best to the author and hope to read his works in future too.

Chasing wheels written by Chaman Srivastava is a book about dreams and achieving them. It a fiction story about a boy who dreamt of buying a car while sitting on back seat of his father’s scooter when he was very young and how he worked hard to achieve something in his life.

Rishi Sinha, a boy in the second standard has to leave his studies at such a younger age because his family didn’t have resources to pay for his schooling. He always felt bad when other boys of his age used to tease him about his studies and he used to cry because no one understood his problem. As time passes someone advised him to fill out a private form for 10th standard and take the exam. Rishi who suddenly saw the light at the end of the tunnel start preparing for it and also pass the exam. Similarly, he passed the twelfth exam and now was in college making his life. There he makes friends for the first time ever and also falls in love.
But was it going to be easy for a poor guy to make a living in a city line Pune? Was it starting of something? What happens next and was he able to buy his dream car?
This book was a hell of an emotional ride as we get to see the struggles in Rishi’s life. I liked the book’s concept and story. The title of the book seems appropriate as his dream was always to buy a 4 – wheeler. The narration was not that good and there were few minor mistakes here and there but overall this book was a good one time read.

Chasing Wheels follows the story of Rishi Sinha, a 17 year old boy who never got to live a luxurious and wealthy life but had big dreams. Since childhood, he used to sacrifice and compromise his needs for the well being of his family. Due to some financial crisis he had to drop out from his school, but that didn't let his spirit down. Instead he completed his studies through correspondence and got admission in an engineering college.
Everything in his life was going smooth until he met Rhea, the girl of his dreams. They both were made for each other types couple and used to spend most of their time together. Rishi wasn't able to meet his ends so he opted for a job which used to pay for his expenses. His schedule was getting hectic and in the process he was getting distant from Rhea. On the other hand, he had his eyes on the new Audi A4 and was working day and night to achieve his dream. Will he be able to marry the love of his life? Will his dream come true?
To be honest, I didn't find this book to be a very good one. The story was average and predictable. I didn't like the element of love story much. Also the obsession of the protagonist for cars was something over the top. The narration is slow and needs editing. The language is easy and understandable.Overall I really didn't enjoy reading the book.

An inspiring story

Review

The book of Chaman Srivastava is a pure example of the facts that if one person can determine what he or she wants they can achieve it one day if they work for it.

I feel like I was there with the character working with them learning something new, I was able to connect with the story as there are some similarities with me and the characters which made me love the book very much.

The author has presented the book in a simple manner but with charisma, the story is politely written with some bitter truth of the society and the author has given Justice to every character.

I can proudly recommend this book to every reader who loves to read the inspiring story and the language of the book is lucid and narrative of the book is in the first person, which is beautifully weaved by the author.

💫Glimpse in a blink💫

A poor boy with full of admiration to study as he believed that school is his second home but his life drifts off from the path he was walking on.

Rishi and his brother gave an exam after lots of hard work and they pass the exam and rishi wants to study more and the family supports him and Rishi hard work gave him an opportunity to study in a college in Pune like a big city.

Rishi had a goal in his mind to buy an Audi A4 someday but the question is will he be able to do that, if not what will happen with him, to know the story more go grab the copy of the book and start reading.

Happy reading 😊

I really liked the concept of Story except the fact that the love or say obsession of protagonist for cars seemed little unrealistic to me. The language used is simple and easy for every reader. Narration is also good and story mainly moves around the protagonists so no much characters to comfuse the story. I really liked the cover which is actually a scene from the story. Overall it's a good one time read and if you are looking for a light motivation story then surely give this a try.

This is one of the books that I finished reading at one go. Cover is beautiful. Title is good. Plot is simple. Narration is slow paced. Language is simple. Dreams supported by strong determination can definitely be realized it what one feels after reading this book. The story revolves around the life of a poor young boy Rishi Sinha whose has seen nothing but poverty and the need to compromise for every little thing all his life. His dream of owning a super car before he turns 30 is what he aims in life and works hard to achieve his goal. The twists and turns along with the challenges met by the protagonist is worth reading.
What I liked?
The desire and determination of the protagonist to educate himself.
The courage to dream big and not leave any stone unturned in working hard to realize it.

What I didn’t like?
The major part of the story was about the love between Rhea and Rishi, which was dragging at times.

My Verdict
It’s a good inspirational story that has a moral that no matter what obstacles come your way, you can accomplish your goal by working hard towards it. good one time read.

Some people throttle their potential by refusing to think "what if?" and ignoring what's truly important to them in life. You have to start dreaming before you can achieve anything.

Chaman Srivastava speaks to the dreamers of the world.
Chasing Wheels is a voice of hope in a world that can often feel hopeless.
The character Rishi in this book is the perfect example of how one person can make a difference.

Using realistic circumstances, The story of Chasing Wheels inspires and teaches. At the heart of Rishi's story is the circle of life. It seldom turns out the way we want it to, but somehow despite the twists, we end up in the right place. A boy who left his studies to the man owning Audi himself.

This was one of the best inspirational book I've read recently.

Truly makes us believe "
Regardless of parentage, heritage or origin, dreams are meant to be pursued and grasped and pulled from the sky "

"Dreams needed to be protected and nurtured, and then finally unleashed onto the world."

This book revolves mainly around the protagonist Rishi, & his journey of dreams. The story is weaved quite nicely, & I liked the overall characters. There are many instances where one could relate, connect or think of one or another thing. There are no writing errors & the narration follows smoothly. I felt sad for Rishi at times. Some pages could have been slipped. The title is depicted in the opening pages & it goes well with the overall theme of the story. Dreams indeed are worth following & this is the crux of the story. The cover, story & title do justice to the overall book.

Let me tell you it's a great book and one of the most inspiring stories you'll ever read! The story, compiled in 264 pages, is directly based on the writers life. (Wow)

The story start with a young man named rishi. Rishi belongs to the middle class family and struggle too much in his life. He losses his father but is strong enough to swear that he will never stop hustling and struggling, and eventually, his dream of buying an audi car from the day when he was a kid got fulfilled.

It's a binding story of hopes and dreams, and most importantly the key ingredient : hardwork. The plot is intant and the language is crisp. The same could be said of the cover which is apt and fitting. All in all, it's a good read and everyone must give it a try!!

#qotd : Which is your favorite car and why?

Well mine is Aston Martin coz I love James Bond and hope to make it big someday just like him.

Now coming to the book, this book Chasing wheels by Chaman Srivastava is about a Bihari boy from Patna who comes to study and work at Pune hoping to buy an Audi A4 someday. The story revolves around how he sees the Le Meridien hotel in Pune and then his eyes shift to the Honda City standing in front of his college and then due to circumstantial necessity he has to buy a 16 year old white two wheeler and then and Alto and finally an Audi A4. throughout the book his journey is pretty tough as he hails from a not so well of family and gradually had to leave his studies after his 2nd Grade and then appear as a private student for his matriculation exams as well as Higher Secondary exams.

The story also speaks of how his father who worked in a tiny Bank suffered from a massive heart disease, how all their resources were drained and how he had immensely work hard and got 56% in his class 10. having always the words for speaking English Rishi Sinha, our protagonist joins an English medium CBSE school and tries level best to conquer the subject and have better prospects in life. Coming to Pune he  befriends two guys DJ and Joshua who helped him immensely in studies as well as his accommodation fooding and lodging. As he was freelancing in his first semester when the exams nearby he had to work immensely to secure a rank amongst the top 10. Buy this time he had met the love of his life to called Rhea who had an immense influence on him and in the upcoming chapters we see how she plays a major pivotal role in shaping his career as he shifts from one job to another two suffice himself as well as Rhea's needs and his family too. Destiny has its way when after graduation Rishi has to work to support his family and Riya is sent to Varanasi to complete her masters of Business Administration later joins a bank in Delhi where she had done her internship during the course. Being forced by her parents she decides to break up with Rishi and move on with her family's wishes and marry somebody of their status which leads the latter disheartened unbroken. Rishi does not stop and he passes his degree from Symbiosis College of Business Administration and joins a company which is well off and gradually we see how he loses his father who had never had a ride on his Alto save his Audi A4 that he buys at the end of the book and how he never gets to tell his love of his life that he bought the Audi that he always wanted to and that's the end of the story.

The story seems pretty inspirational but due to excess emphasising on some points the book became lengthy and at times monotonous. The writing is very plane and no unnecessary flowery ornamentation has been done to make the writing style difficult for readers to comprehend. The story tells us that it does not matter from which social standing do you come all it matters is that what dream do you have and how hard are you willing to work to make it come alive in your this life span.

Some things which I found peculiar in the book we're there were plenty of grammatical mistakes along with logical ones for example the elder brother in the story in the first some chapters becomes the younger brother in the last chapter, the first few chapters had nothing to do with cards or wheels or any vehicle or automobile. It just stressed on Rishi's freelance college life and teenage energy which he was misusing. The last story entwined in the book also wasn't as romantic as I expected and seemed more out of Pity and lack of company than love. Why was the protagonist running after costly vehicles out of his reach, why the protagonist was at all interested in buying an Audi A4 and not a Mercedes and there were several questions in my mind that were unanswered throughout the book and I really expect somebody to answer them for me. What impact did a car have in his life, who inspired him to buy a car, and what was so special about the Audi A4 and Audi TT that led him to work extra hours to pay his loan and Be Well off with the car. These were some more questions that were unanswered.

Overall the book is very simple to understand even for a man who is not very compatible with English. I would recommend it to everyone so that they can give a light read to this book and be inspired at times.

The book is about dreams. I guess the author wants people in this materialistic world be a little over ambitious which could work as a driving force to them
Some people do achieve some don't. But we all have dreams. We should never stop dreaming, in fact I'll like to quote a line from the book, "My philosophy was to dream big and then work on it, so you at least get half of it, if not all."
The book is about being ambitious which makes the ally, Rishi Sinha, a young lad, dropped out of 2nd grade, who passed through his boards with flying colours. Dreamt of making it big inspite of his poor financial conditions. Got into a respected college in Pune, all alone by himself. Completing his graduation, falling in love making great friends his life was just anything close to perfect. He also used to work, to send money home and to pay for his expenses. Things changed after his over whelming experience in college. He had to find a job whereas others were shocked to see their topper leave without completing his masters. The main driving force for Rishi was to buy a car, that was his ideal of a good living. He did buy his first car, an Alto but moreover he wished to buy an Audi A4 one day. And the story proceeds, things change, he faces some great loss, his lady love, his father. But with great loss came great opportunities too, he got his MBA done, worked for an MNC and finally achieved the dream of buying an Audi for himself.
The writing style of the book is simple, real, clear and straight to point. The book was the quickest read I've had. I completed it in 1 sitting. Definitely an enjoyable one, though there were some unrealistic bits like, dropping school in 2nd grade and then directly giving boards after ages and still passing with a good score? Further pursing and then MBA too! Nevertheless the book doesn't fails to show the emotions of family, friends and also failure. I could relate more, "Things always look easy and achievable from a distance to you, don't they? But that's not how life works."

The book is for people who enjoy reading easy contemporary books. In the end I'd thank the author, Mr Chaman Srivastav and @meghnaroy for providing me with a review copy of this book.

Chasing Wheels by Chaman Srivastava is a debut novel.

About the Story:

The story revolves around protagonist “Rishi Sinha” who is brought up from a poor family, aims high to reach his goal and accomplishes the same.
Being a middle-class person, Rishi faces all kind of hurdles and achieves to get a degree in a reputed college. He falls in love with Rhea, his classmate and they have their own world of fantasies, she is the only happiness he has got in his entire life.
During his childhood he struggled even to do his schooling, as his father got sick and bed-ridden. But somehow, he managed his studies and got a degree.
Rishi had a childhood dream of buying a car with riches. One day when he was reaching his office, he saw a car in Audi showroom made him awestruck and he decides to buy that car. He struggles to save money for chasing his goal.
Meanwhile, Rhea being a MLA’s daughter was forced to marry someone by her parents.
What happens next? Will he survive this poverty? Will he marry Rhea? Will he reach his goal of getting an Audi car? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

The title “Chasing wheels” itself depicts chasing something, were our protagonist dreams of getting a beautiful car.
This is a simple book telling tale of one’s life story, how a man struggled to get his degree, his love, and how he accomplishes his highest goal. This book is full of positive approach and tells us “things happen how it meant to be”. I felt bit dragging in some places.
The pacing of the story is good, and the language is simple to read. This is one among the hundred stories, but nothing unique is found. It s an average read.

I would rate 3/5 for this fiction work.

'Chasing Wheels' by Chaman Srivastava is every middle-class person's dream.

Rishi Sinha comes from a middle-class family whose income was just enough to manage their daily needs. He always dreamt of having a two-wheeler to himself and support his family financially. Rishi somehow gets a seat in a university in Pune for his BCA.

He struggled a lot during the course, made a good number of friends and fell in love with Rhea one of his classmates. He worked hard and became a college topper.

He started doing a job to arrange his college fees and bought a scooter for himself but his dream did not end there. He now wanted to buy an Audi car which was way beyond his financial ability. But he is determined to achieve his dream and works very hard for that.

Everything was fine but due to his status, Rhea's father rejected their proposal of marriage. With a broken heart, he now has only one goal, to buy an Audi.

Will he achieve his dream?
Will he buy an Audi with his low financial status?
Or will he give up dreaming?

If you are from a middle-class family, you can definitely relate to this story very much. Dreams are something which keeps our hopes high and let is survive the hardships that we are going through. Every middle-class person's dream is to have a bike and a car for his family. When they achieve that dream it's the best moment of their lives.

The author through this book has explained the emotions very beautifully. The narration was really good. The characters are given equal importance and the language used is simple and easy to understand.

This book gives you wings to dream and hopes to achieve that dream. I really liked the book and I recommend it to everyone.

Chasing Wheels
By Chaman Srivastava

Chasing Wheels is a life-story of a dream chaser Rishi Sinha who overcomes his struggles to achieve his dream of buying a car. His pursuit of this dream helps him take on any challenges that life throws at him.Its a feel-good motivating story of a small town boy that fills the reader with joy and shows the importance of having dreams and working on them.

The book does feel one-dimensional in the sense that it just races ahead never giving time to the characters to develop. It's a relatable story for the hard working youth of this country, the premise, the core of this story is so good but there is just no emotional connection established between the reader and the character. The book feels like reading a journal. A daily planner so to speak - wake up,make chai, go to college, go to work ,sleep, repeat. This continues throughout the book. I speed read the book and I did not miss any details. Many characters are reduced to passing remarks. The only time we get to know the character is in one phase where we get to know his thoughts which end up being the word ‘dream’ being repeated too many times. The main love story also lacks an emotional connect and ends up like a filler. This whole book has all the ingredients for a great story but it just ends up like a collection of daily diary entries. Great theme but lack of an interesting plot and not a great way of story-telling lets down this book. Could have been edited a little more tighter and 100-150 pages short easily.

Aspirations and Depravation, a lethal situation with two possible outcomes: surrender else rebel. Rishi Sinha in Chasing Wheels chooses the latter and achieves what he always aspired and dreamt of. A story of sacrifice, loss, and destiny; the plot is beautifully weaved into this novel. Initially, a bit boring but eventually the story picks up speed. The struggle and pain it’s so real, you will cry with the characters. The story starts with the protagonist making his way to a reputed college for his graduation and from there his journey to his true potential. This novel is: “A success story with so many failures along the way.”
The protagonist- Rishi is built beautifully along the story. Initially, he is a boy driven completely by the adversity he dealt throughout his childhood; a kid both ambitious and competitive, whose competition isn’t people but the goals, set by him. But after his father’s tragic demise and abrupt break up from his girlfriend, Rhea made him more intense and mature by the end. His journey was of a boy becoming a man under harsh circumstances with life as his tutor, this book is inspiring in many ways.
The only problem anyone would find in this book will be the initial pace of the book, few grammatical mistakes and misogyny which is sort of tone of the era of the boys at that time but not too much reflection or emphasis were given by the author which is appreciated.
