How far would you go on a dare? When Julian agreed to spend the night in a long-abandoned mental hospital, he was sure it would be simple. But when the ghosts that inhabit the building begin to relive the last day of their lives, Julian learns that, sometimes, it's better to say no to a dare.
Hello! My name is J. C. Cauthon, and I write books for other writers such as myself. I publish a writing prompt collection every other month on Amazon, share writer resources through my blog and newsletter monthly, and much more.
You can find me most places on the web, but I tend to stick to only a few social websites. If you want to see the inspiration behind my projects, you can check out my Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/cauthonj
Instagram and Facebook are also two great places to catch up me. I try to update these daily with at least a writing prompt, but the more time I spend off the computer, the more I get written.
If you want to see what I have recently published, some reviews of my books, or what I am reading, you can visit my author page on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/J-C-Cauthon/e/...
A short story but one of the really good ones. If you only have an hour or so spare this is a tale you must read. It also has a wonderful twist at the end that I didn't see coming. A warning to all who take on a dare.
