i read this book as part of an arc program. In this book, Chris si a former Seal who now owns his own jewelry store. Roxanne goes to the jewelry store to buy a necklace her parents want her to buy, but she isn't interested, until she meets Chris. Chris is a dominate male and when he meets Roxanne, he is attracted to her. When Chris notices a man watching him and Roxanne, he wants to know why. Roxanne tells him not to worry about him, but Chris wonders why he is following him. Chris and Roxanne have an attraction and when Chris asks her for coffee, she goes. They have a great time and Chris invites Roxanne back to his apartment. Roxanne is a virgin, but she wants to be with Chris. Chris is a very dominate man and when Roxanne submits to him, he wants to be with her. Roxanne must return home to her parents, even though she doesn't want to. When the man following Roxanne continues and Chris learns who he is, danger follows. I liked this book. I liked Chris and Roxanne together. I really didn't like Roxanne's family and thought they were a little too controlling. I think Chris and Roxanne had great chemistry and had an instant love connection. Good one.

In this book we meet Chris Bradley and Roxanne Hunt. From the moment Chris sees Roxanne's name on his appointment list he feels something. When they do come face to face they feel a connection that they can't understand. Roxanne is just in Chris's shop because her mother wanted her to have a new necklace. There is someone in the shadows that Chris doesn't understand and Roxanne isn't telling the whole truth about. Can these two find a HEA or will outside forces make that impossible?
This is an amazing short story. It has its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Chris owns a jewelry store and is a former seal. Roxanne's mom wants her to have a new necklace so she sends her to Chris's jewelry store to get one. Roxanne isn't really interested in anything once she sees Chris. Chris protective instinct kicks in when he sees someone following Roxanne. Roxanne is a virgin and really wants to be with Chris. They go on a coffee date and really hot it off. When Chris realizes the danger Roxanne is in from the guy following her he steps to protect his woman. Will Chris be able to keep Roxanne safe?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Chris and Roxanne is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

He is an older man, used to be a seal and now having his own jewelry shop.
But sparks fly when they meet, she lets him think about his lover from years ago, which wanted him to dominate her.
This time it goes even further, she isn't only into him dominating her, she calls him daddy too.
But when things seem to work out her secret is out to him and he can't handle it.
But luckily he gets himself back together to rescue her.
I wanted to kick her parents for not believing her in the first place.
Good read, with action and lots of hot moments when he takes real good care of her

Chris is a high-end jeweller, after he finished a few tours as a seal. He enjoys his exclusive clientele. One day Roxanne comes into his shop to find a necklace. Both are attracted to each other immediately, but interrupted by an unpleasant man, who stalks Roxanne. They pick up on their attraction a few days later and from there on become an item. But the stalker continues to harrass her and the situation escalates further.
A fairly well-written book with the typical clichés of innocence, richt girl and protecting the princess. It also shows a mild touch of BDSM.
If you want a read that is not demanding, just for relaxation, then this might be for you.

Did I read a different book than everyone else? I must have gotten the wrong ARC file or something because........
This would have made a decent rough draft to quickly get ideas on paper but as a completed book it's not good. As this was an ARC I felt the need to finish it but I wouldn't have otherwise. It's stilted and awkward, there is no chemistry between the characters, and the secret she was keeping was pointless. The hero came off as an elderly shopkeeper but he was young, had been in the military and (I think) he owned the very high end jewelry store he lived above. The heroine acted like a 12 year old girl except in bed where she went from totally innocent and naive to fairly kinky in the blink of an eye.

Here we see this quiet timid seeming young woman Roxanne go to ex Seal come jeweller Chris who see's something in her that he hasn't seen in anyone in a long time. But he sees that she seems scared by this stranger, though he has NI idea why.

Not up to par with previous books.
Roxanne, for all her innocence, was rather two-dimensional to me. And so adrift in her life, seemed to be waiting for someone like Chris to save her. Chris was fine, all around hot...for an ex-seal jeweler. I thought Tania was in the picture first before Christ and Roxanne met but that as cleared up.
The story is fast for a short book and a little sad. Sad because of the way Roxanne's family didn't protect her. Sad too because I will not remember this book at all.

Chris may have been a SEal but now he is a high end jeweller when Roxanne come in to look at jewellery at the request of her parents the attraction between them is instant. But who is the obnoxious man stalking Roxanne. When they meet again a few days later coffee leads to so much more as he dominates and she learns to call him daddy but with the stalker still following will he be able to keep her safe. This is spicy read that will have you turning the pages as fast as you can

Angela Blake and Chloe Maddox are great in delivering Dominating Alpha male stories, one such story is the "Daddy Seal". A seal turned jewelry shop owner, Chris and his hot new virgin customer Roxanne, who is merely interesting to buy an Jewel that her family wants her to buy. An instant attraction fires and there is a stalker following Roxanne, now knowing this Chris want to protect her, Dominate her and she submits, he wants her. This book is really amazing and a page turner, I loved it.

He used to be a seal who owns a jewelry store now and is older than her. She is innocent. Her parents send her to get a necklace they want her to get that she doesn't want. She changes her mind when she gets there and sees him. An innocent attraction and she does what he wants. Even takes it a step further. But there is a problem. She has a secret. Roxanne was raised by very strict parents. She is also being followed by a man everywhere she goes. Then she meets Chris, who is a jeweller. Now things take a dramatic turn. Not a bad read, but the author kept mixing up him and her. Also had Roxanne in pajamas when she had just entered Chris's apartment after being out.

Chris is a jeweller. He is a take charge doesn't beat around the bush guy. Chris is also a protective dominate man. Chris notices a guy following Roxanne and has a feeling that Roxanne is in danger. Roxanne is a young woman that feels something inside her self but doesn't know how to express it out load until she meets Chris. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. Solid storyline but not for me
I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I really struggled to get into this book, I'm not sure if it's the way it's written or just me but either way I can't say I enjoyed it that much, which seems a shame as I think the storyline was quite solid.

This book is very steamy and suspenseful. Roxanne and Chris have scorching chemistry and their scenes sizzle. This is a good read that I enjoyed reading. This is my completely honest, voluntary review.

Nice short story with nice plot. I like the chemistry and passion. The characters sometimes speaks to juvenile for me. They seem so immature because of their language.
