The stories I found most impressive in this collection were: “A Silver Dish” by Saul Bellow; “The Old Forest” by Peter Taylor; “Elizabeth” by Walter Sullivan; “The Goodbye Present” by Daniel Asa Rose; “Group Sex” by Ann Arensberg; and “Old Light” by Barry Targan.
