In Love With A East Coast Maniac: Grizz And Sundae
In this spin-off you’ll meet Paisley. Paisley is in a relationship with Rome. Rome is in a relationship with multiple women, the streets and lastly Paisley. While she knows she deserves better, she sits by his side while he continues to disrespect her. Rome comes with a baby mother who isn’t interested in being a mother, a one year old and a hand problem. Paisley spends her day working as a dental receptionist and her nights raising Syria and Rome’s one year old daughter, Sayana. Manic wants Paisley. Paisley wants Rome. Manic has had his eye on Paisley for an entire year. When she finds herself inside his jewelry store pawning her promise ring, he sees this as his opportunity. Met with the revelation that she has a boyfriend. The mention of a boyfriend doesn’t slow down his advances toward Paisley. Especially when he runs into her and she’s sporting a black eye. While Paisley is trying to save her relationship, Manic is trying to save her. What if Manic is closer to her boyfriend than he thinks? Tweeti is adjusting to being a mother, wife and college student. With school taking up her time, she doesn’t have as much time as she would like to spend with her son and husband. Coming from nothing she’s determined to make her husband and son proud of her. When Jah starts acting weird, keeping late hours and getting caught up in lies, does she take a step back from school? Jah thought Zuri was gone when he proved that he didn’t father one of her twins. Except, Jah didn’t realize when you put skeletons in the closet they start to fall out. One Sundae is out of the mental institute and moved in with Grizz. She’s adjusting to her medicines and living with a man. Grizz is adjusting and learning about Sundae’s mental health. While he loves her and wants to marry her, he knows he has to take it slow. Marriage, kids and a future together seem so far since her mental disease stands in the way of that. Will Grizz and Sundae get to have a future together? As if Sundae’s health issues isn’t enough, Grizz’s ex pops back into the picture with news that tests Grizz’s heart. Will he help her out? Or is he still harboring feelings from how they ended years ago?

All hell about to break loose. Sundae will find out about old girl because she going to tell her. That what miserable women do. Jah 🤦🏾♀️ has messed up so bad and I don’t know. It maybe some years before Tweeting even think of taking him back if ever. I love Manic if Paisley don’t leave she a dummy. Full time babysitter for a baby not yours and punching bag. Nothing to think about but the battered syndrome doesn’t-help. Waiting on part 2. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I have this book 5 stars, because this book never dropped my interest. All of these couples come with plenty of drama, especially Jah. I'm looking forward to book 2.

Good Read
I always enjoy Author Jahquel J books the only thing that keeps me from giving this a five star rating is the story kind of dragged at times when the characters went down memory lane about what happened to them in the previous series " In Love With The King Of Harlem" I guess since I read the series I felt it made the story drag. I like when the Author do a recap of all the characters storyline at the beginning of a book. That way once you start reading you updated already. I am so mad a Jah I don't know how he could be so stupid, he should've been up front with Tweeti. He should have never let a other woman have the upper hand over his wife by not telling her what was going on with him. I have mixed feelings about if Tweeti should forgive Jah but right now Jah is coming off as being weak and don't deserve Tweeti. I am so sick of Paisley how can she be so stupid why in the hell would you want to stay with someone that mentally and physically abuses her and really not doing anything for her because from what I am getting from her and Rome relationship she is taking care of everything. Then she has Manic offering to give her everything but she talking about he might do her the same way. You would think since he's showing her that he's different that anyone is better than Rome. And I can't believe Grizz thank it's ok to let his Ex come leave with him and Sundae without telling Sundae who she really is. He is stupid on all levels if he do not realize that the Ex want him back and going to spill the beans to Sundae about who she is. It seems like Manic the only one that has any sense. Can't wait to see what happens to all the couples in the next installment.

This book here mannn had me totally out done! Just throw everybody away and start over! Tweeti needs to divorce him and move on! Not one but 3! Nope sorry! He was doing to dang on much! Paisley needs to run not walk away from Rom before he kills her! Ain’t no ifs about it Sundae is gonna find out! I don’t trust ole girl farther that I can kick her! What is going on is all the guys in the book trifling? Like really? A lot could have been avoided if they just kept it 100! I felt bad for Tweeti, Paisley, and Sundae like can they live!!! This book was explosive! Can’t wait for part 2

Now Jah…
I understand this is fiction, but to make Paisley that slow. Because she had to be, no one in their right mind would stay with Rome. As for Tweet, I don’t feel bad for her, she annoyed me in this book. Letting her son curse and finding it funny, disrespecting Jah’s mom when she wants better for her grandchild. Not tending to your husband’s needs because you want to Breastfeed this child who knows how to just take your breast out and feed him self and who can curse up a storm. If that child can do that, pump, give him a sippy cup and handle your husband needs as well. I don’t need to know how’s Jah and Tweet’s marriage is going, a woman who finds it funny that her child curse and disrespect ppl, it say a lot about her character

This is def a must read boo, I think tweeting should take jay back but make his butt suffer for awhile especially since he has not slept with her again and he really was drugged, paisley def needs to get with manic I’m just hoping she makes the right choice and keeps the baby I can’t see manic taking to well to her killing the baby, sundae def need to find out about this so called cousin and grizz need to get a back bone and in some kind of way

Loving….
I’m loving Paisley and Maniac chemistry. I can’t wait for her to wise up and leave Rome. However, I’m not happy that I have to deal with Jay and Tweeti being main characters in this book. Nor am I happy with Grizz and Sundae’s storyline. I basically have to skip Jah and Tweeti because I can’t deal with his lies and her less than lady like antics. I thought I was done dealing with them for a while.

Babi....its so much to unravel!!! Nw Jah u stay lit! (Dnt read this if u haven't read the other books, cause i got things to say)First! Jah! Lawd! He faked the dna results wit zuri, hell i was happi! I wnt him and tweeti to b solid and happi! Nw we got this night out wit j-rell and him bein drugged and ended up gettin this mayonnaise broad pregnant because he had no idea wht was happenin! Nw he dealin wit two bms and a wife! Of course he stressed! I think he should of came clean frm the gate because hvin tweeti find out the way she did was awful! I would of punched mayornaise too! She so dramatic and wnt jah so of course she gon drag it out 🤦🏾♀️ and she the color of mayornaise so they gon b wit the sh*ts for her! Ugh! Jah get wht he get because he put himself in this situation! Nw the fact he was drugged i give a pass for the mayornaise babi, but to frabricate the dna for zena was wrong! 🤦🏾♀️ The fact tweeti is preg agin, i would remove mi self frm jah mess and deal wit it wit her support team and leave him to the bs! Wow, so Jah's skeletons have fell out of the closet. Jah should've just came clean, instead of Tweeti finding out in the way that she did. I just can't believe that Jah would do Tweeti like that! Now the thing with Dakota, it wasn't his fault, but be doesn't know that yet, however, the situation with Zuri, there's no excuse. I really hope that Tweeti forgives Jah, but if not, he can only blame himself. He has made his bed hard, so I hope that he can now lie in it.
Paisley is dumb as a box of rocks. She knew that Rome didn't love her, by his actions. Manic came along and showed her how a woman is supposed to be treated, but she kept running back to Rome. I felt that emotional and physical abuse is completely unacceptable, however, if you continue to stay, after someone has shown you what love truly is, then that's stupidity to me. I can't judge Paisley, however, I can definitely give my opinion on her situation.
Grizz isn't entitled to help his cousin, in fact, she doesn't deserve it. The "cousin" should have just stayed what she was, which was the ex. Grizz was playing a dangerous game, due to his past and his future being that close in proximity. What happens to Sundae's emotional well-being when she finds out the true? Sundae is already just now getting back to herself, but how would she feel knowing what Grizz was hiding behind her back?!

OMG Jah really messed up
Tweeti thought she had it all a husband who worshipped the ground she said walked on. Tweeti was raising her son and going to school to become a nurse and bettering herself to make her husband and child proud of her. Jah is living a double life he has three baby mothers and Tweeti doesn't even have a clue she pregnant with her second baby. She caught her husband at her doctor office with Dakota his baby mother who is eight months pregnant with his son I think he was drugged when he was partying and is trapped with the result of his action. Tweeti is hurt and angry how could someone to claimed they love you and hurt you so deeply. Will Tweeti forgive Jah are will she leave him and move on with her life. Paisley is in a abusive relationship with Roman who constantly cheating on her and belittling her and blaming her for his action . Girllll the DRAMA!!!! First of all I wanna say Jahquel’s writing grows with every book. I liked how she eased into the relationship with Paisley and Manic. She didn’t rush them and let them develop naturally. Rome is a bum and I don’t like them. Uzi and Remi are really chilling and I like that for them. Grizz heart is too damn big. He should’ve left Teyanna right where tf she was at. Sundae is doing good. I see so much of myself in Sundae it’s scary her and Paisley really resonate with me the most. Now, onto my cousin Tweeti lmao. Jah is really with the sh*ts in this installment and he’s making me wanna break his damn legs AGAIN! He did my girl so dirty. He had so many times to tell her but, he let her find out on her own and BAM! Look at where my girl is at now! He better fix this and fix it fast. There were a couple of gender mix ups between the kids and a couple of errors but, it didn’t take away from the story. This was a good spin-off. Can’t wait til part 2!

Oh my goodness. This really deserves more than five stars. Jah touched on a little bit of everything in this book. Mental illness, domestic violence, man oh man. Jahquel is definitely in the top three as far as my favorite authors go. I am so mad at Jah with his trifling behind. All he had to do was tell Tweeti what was up. His little snow bunny baby mama has got to go. I absolutely know she is up to no good and she set him up. Paisley, man I really like her but I hope she gets her stuff together and leave asap. Grizz doing Sundae dirty and he should've let that trick figure her own mess out. I'm rooting for two out of the three couples. Tweeti going to jail behind that trick and on top of that she found out about Zuri and the twin situation. Man I know part two is bout to be lit asf.

OMG!!! This book hit soooooo hard. Had me feeling all types of feelings for paisley. Shit had me wanting to give her behind a heart to heart cuz I could definitely relate. Jah..... I was rooting for Jah yooooo. Tweet need to leave that aloooooone. He went too far with the dishonesty. He shoulda told the truth from the jump. Grizzy dumb too. Let sleeping dogs liiiiiiie. You happy with Sundae and bout to mess it all up. Why these boys doing all this stuff they would kill other females for? Smh cuz they McKnights? Boy byyyyyyeeeee. I’m so sick of these cliffhanger books!!!
The last few books that you have written Jahquel seems to have been intentionally drawn out just so that it can be a series... I used to LIVE for your fast paced drama filled books! But it seems like you are stuck in a rut or either trying to up your page count with meaningless fluff that is boring and annoying! This is a book that has been highly anticipated and it barely even progressed. Manic and Paisley story is dragging... Jah and Tweeti unnecessarily long and down right boring until the very end ... just did better before you start leaving loyal fans

Drama but I love it
When I tell you this was fie I mean it was fieeeeeeeee. Damn Jahquel I had so much faith in Jah and he do Tweeti like that I was just sooooooo disappointed in him. What I don't understand is why would he try to change the DNA results when Tweeti already said she'll be there for him. I'm so ready for Paisley to just leave Rome and get with Manic because they complaint each other. I also feel like Neisha might be a problem when Paisley and Manic get closer. Grizz also disappointed me making Sundae think that this girl is his cousin when in actuality it's his ex. I'm about to read part 2 and can't wait.

This book it kool I’m just hoping Tweeti and Jah can figure it out....they went thru sooooo much it hurts me to kno he allowed himself to get caught up. Paisley is one of the most annoying characters I’m secretly hoping her current situation lands her in a pine box, just bcz she’s so damn foolish....my grma used to tell my sis, that she was so smart that she’s dumb! Well that’s Paisley I hope she catches a clue in book 2

It was a good book, not great. I struggled connecting with the characters. Especially since I knew them to be one way from the other series and in this spin off, they just didn’t seem like themselves. But I am not the author and maybe this was intended. All in all it was a good story and the ending was really exciting... so 5 stars!! I’m ready for part 2. I just know it will be better once all these damn secrets fall out of the damn closet.

Good Story
Spoiler: Well! This book starred and ended with drama. I was in story heaven. All these women have things going on. I don't understand Paisley. She better stop playing and get with Manic. Why stay with Rome's trifling behind? Nisha is silly. If she wanted Manic she could've been had him. Now he's into Paisley. I feel like Tweet I should leave. Who stays with a man who hides his kids? She can't trust him. She'll is moving fast. He don't know that woman. But we don't either because we didn't get a whole lot on her. Then we have the one thats on meds. Grizz !Lieing to her too.. So far the story is really good.

She put something, ALOT in that man's drink. When those things happen to women... it is RAPE!! This man was RAPED!! And now being taken advantage of!!
I am hoping this comes out in the next book. Because, this should not be minimized... this is not some basic cheating... he was seriously RAPED... the next problem... is he should have been honest.

This can go all kinds of ways but we know Jah and her pen game is definitely unpredictable LOL. At the end of the day Grizz shouldn't have lied about who the girl is. Paisley needs to dash for the Hills Aka Maniac because he is definitely not about to be with the back and forth else now since she is prego. Definitely disappointed in Jah but he was drugged but his continuous lies have caught up with his and Tweet will definitely finish what he has started. I so can wait for part 2

Lawd I don’t even know where to begin. This book was everything from start to finish. I’m so over Paisley I’ve never experienced DV before but at some point enough should be enough. That damn Jah I just don’t know what to say about him but he should’ve been honest when he had the chance. Tweet is about to give him hell but in a way I feel bad for him. Frizz better learn from Jah and leave Ty ass where he found her. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
