Fastpacking by Lily Dyu is an overview of fastpacking in three main parts.

Firstly there’s an overview of the sport, followed with a series of stories from different fastpackers. There’s then a final section detailing a number of routes with some good practical advice for taking them. There’s a strong UK bias (which is fine for me), and Dyu avoids giving specific kit recommendations which will help the book not date.

Overall an excellent introduction to an interesting area of trail running.
