Not sure if this is the last book of the Dragon Force series, but if is I'd be disappointed 'cause it'd be great to see what comes next for Anira and Rosie. [EDIT: It is the last book. It feels incomplete to me.]

I swear I love where Lucia Ashta's imagination goes. Every book in this series gets better and better. We continue the journey with Anira and her twin Rane as they sort out who they really are and what their purpose is. This book was fantastic and I couldn't put it down. If you love magic and dragons, I definitely recommend this book.

I have to mention this: Finally, a cover that matches the story! I am thrilled to see this because it does so much for me to see the imagery of the cover in cohesion with the story.
The blurb still needs a bit of work though.
There are books that are so well written that they plant seeds of an unforgettable story in your mind and in doing so, you forget that you’re doing the physical act of reading a book as your imagination, fueled by worlds and stories and characters so well built, takes full flight.
I can’t tell you how much raw emotion I felt as I read these words. It was overwhelming and even as I write this, there is a lump in my throat as I mentally and emotionally relive the story I’ve read. There’s so much to feel joy and sadness and disgust and anger and hope and love for.
Watching Anira grow, especially in this book has been a bit like watching a child grow and develop. This is the first book where Anira has been fully herself, deciding how much of herself to show and to whom. Watching her take her first visible steps in the world and adjusting to it while it and everyone in it adjusts to her, seeing her learn to trust herself and her magic and watching her understand the consequences and the responsibility of the power she holds is a breathtaking endeavor. Literal breath taking.
I am in awe of the people that Anira has in her life; those that accept her and help her to grow as a person and as a “faither”. I’m proud to see that there are those who accept her so readily where she never thought she would be. There are again, so many parallels that can be drawn, so many scenarios that can be used as metaphors for our own lives if we are willing to see it. Lucia Ashta has succeeded in creating a series that is filled with action, mystery, magic and depth and I am quite… bereft that it is at an end when I feel so strongly that this is a beginning and there is still so much to learn and see and the “What Happens Next?” is already clawing at me!

As Anira's story continues, she pushes herself to stretch her abilities in order to save friends and, along the way, she accidentally kills a Shadow Person. Anira, though scared, is willing to suffer any consequences that may come from this accident, but finds that these people are dragon riders and are amazed by her unharnessed power. Not to mention the Shadow People have powers of their own as they are taught from birth.
This is the part of the story where Anira and at last Rane, begin to come into their own.
There are, needless to say, problems along the way but I don't think Chief Pumpoo will be a problem terribly much longer. Of course, you will have to read the book to determine that yourself.
Anira and Rane's lives are at risk by another from their tribe whom they were wary of anyway, but never believed he would go behind Dean's back to try to dispose of them. Luckily for Anira and Rane, there are still members of the Ooba tribe that don't blindly follow.
This is a fast paced book with dips and turns and surprises around every bend. You will enjoy this installment just as much, if not more than, the previous installments.

SKIP GOLD, LUCIA HIT PLATINUM!!!
This is such an amazing series that just keeps growing stronger and stronger. If you're looking for an action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, nerve racking, spine tingling, page turning tale that keeps you on a razors edge, congrats my friends you've found it. Lucia is steadily becoming a force to be reckoned with as her talents and imagination show endless possibilities. She never ceases to amaze me as tale after tale continues with such aplomb it's easy to to fall into one of her reads and lose yourself completely. The suspense and danger rule side by side as the characters fight against a mad man. This is one series I would highly recommend reading. Lucia did a phenomenal job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Thanks Lucia for sharing this awesome read with read us.

The third and final masterpiece of Ms Ashta’s Dragon Force Trilogy is more than awesome. It was exciting to see how Anira learned to master her strengths and ‘faithum’. Also, her twin brother learns to work in tandem with her, finally! I was shouting “hooray” as they were conquering their weaknesses and defeating evil. I laughed at the entertaining banter between them. Some wonderful twists to the story had me flipping the pages without stopping until the end. I was sad and mesmerized at the same time as the story ended. I wanted more. I loved Rosie and laughed with tears in my eyes at her reaction to Anira toward the end. I would love to see how she matures! This is a wonderful trilogy that I know anyone who loves dragon stories will absolutely love this one.

This entire series was great.
I liked the world building, the characters, and the unique bond with the dragons in this book. The only thing that started to get on my nerves a bit was how every time Anira did big magic she almost died.... and it was explain in almost the exact same long drawn out details every time. It never explained why shes the only one to react that way, especially since Rane seemed to thrive from the magic. Why does it always almost kill Anira. Yea ot says because shes untrained, but so is everyone else and none of them react badly and they all have better control. Anyway, other than that the series was fun to read. Rosie is extra adorable. Floppy eared baby!!!

Omg This author is such a phenomenal writer! Chief Pumpoo cast a spell on his people to attack the DragonForce. They end up with the shadow people who teach the twins who supposedly are a for bidden species Anira and Rane Who are supposed to be killed because they’re twins get a new leash on life.
Rose The dragonling is taken under the wing of a green dragon to be taught how to be a grown-up dragon.
Dane the head of the shadow people is excepting of the tribe of DragonForce and helps them with their problem with their chief who is evil
This doesn’t even begin to tell you how wonderful this book is but I don’t want to ruin the story for anyone!
I highly recommend not only this series but this author! Lucia is an amazing storyteller and believe me her books are the best!

There are some loose ends that I would like to see cleared up.
There is no resolution of what happens to the tribe of people they left behind with no leader and no defenders. It does not sound like they are going back any time soon so they are all just left mulling around.
What exactly is the bond between Dean and Anira?
Who did Rane end up choosing?
How are they so backward and disconnected from everyone and everything that they didn’t move forward at all in thousands of years?
It felt false and hollow when we got to the end. No, it felt false and hollow the second that the Shadow People who were advanced in every single way got involved.
Not a fan of most of Lucia Ashta’s works but she has quite a catalogue, so she’s doing something right.

WOW just WOW! This 3rd instalment carries on from book 2 and is filled with excitement and magic. You meet the shadow people ( will they be friend or foe?) and see how Anira and the protectors join together to finally beat the enemy. I was on the edge of my seat biting my nails the whole read and when finished just had to sit and let it all sink in. An amazing ride with amazing characters!

I love this series. In fact I love all of Lucia's books. After former chieftain Pumpoo escapes, the Dragon Force is fast on his trail. They are again attacked by dragons. The Dragon Force meets the Shadow people. Dune (the leader of the Shadow people) and his daughter Luma are also dragon riders.
The worlds imagined by Lucia Ashta are complete, thrilling and I hope she will write more with these characters.

So let me just say....
So let me just say these books were all the things I hoped for a younger version of myself to rad. Engaging adventurous and unpredictable. I loved it. Not sure if this is the end but hoping to read more.Looking forward to a possible love interest of that's on the table. Lastly I must say that the underlying message about faith and belief truly resonated with me and is something that in the time it took to read shaped my mentality. I loved this trilogy!

I voluntarily review an ARC.
This is the third book of the Dragon Force series. I can't put in words how much Anira's story captured me, how I felt her every struggle and victory, her discoveries and friendships. Let's just say I love this series and hope there will be more, for I am not ready to leave her and the other fabulous characters yet.

I cannot express how utterly fantastic I found this. Where I expected more darkness, Lucía only filled it with more light. The growth of the characters, and widening of their world, makes me curious where else this tale could go. I do hope Lucía writes more in this universe, but if not, I will still faithfully read whatever she writes.

Lucia Ashta writes books that are treasured keepsakes. Ones that the reader goes back to read again and again, because the tales allow not just a mental holiday that the reader needs, but also keeps him/her riveted until the very end.

Wonderful book.
This book, the last in the series has it all. The relationship between the characters is sweet and daddy at the same time. I love the dialogue between the drinking and Anita makes it endering. I would advise anyone to read the series from the beginning to understand how all the story unfolds.

There's an old English thing about "fitting ends" and this wraps the trilogy up in such a great fashion.

Great ending, sorry it's over.
Anira learns so much about herself in this book. She gains confidence that she can do magic & learn more about dragons. Rane learns to use his magic to speak to Anira in her mind. He also learns how to gather magic to himself & direct it at someone. They are able to find out some of the lies they were told by Pumpoo .

A lovely story
I have really enjoyed this series. Even when I've had to re read certain parts just to fully understand the story. I've enjoyed the characters as I find them an interesting mix. As well as the dragons as they are a first love mine. A wonderful story and can't wait to read more.

magical
What a great and inspiring story I was riveted by the unique storyline and plot. A story about emerging unknown magic while learning the good and bad people who listen and believe in someone that they shouldn’t. The ending is similar to a cliffhanger which leaves more questions than answers.

All I. Can say is NEXT. Defiantly I have been enjoying this series . It is up there with Pern by Ann McAfee. In it's own way the tail draws you in and causes your soul to fly along with the Dragons.

I am not normally into YA but this was surprisingly well written, intriguing and addictive. I got the first one free, and had to read all 3 in one night. Definitely recommend this

The three stories are very heartwarming I enjoyed reading them.
I would recommend these stories to both young and old. It gives a promise of never give up and situations will get better with faith. Good writing.

The missed chance at a Luma and Anira romance!!!!! Coming to the book i realised i loved the world to bits and i was left desperately wanting to know more. More than that i got tired of the writing style. But this series is still really cool.

GOOD SERIES
I enjoyed all three books in this series. The stories were fluid and the magic performed was extraordinary and out of this world. I even like the Christian overtone when the writer talked about faithtum and the Ooba People belief in it. A well written clean YA series.

A lovely, family-friendly tale of adolescence and the struggle against corruption that can be read in a day or in a series of evenings. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
