Holy heck! This is one sizzling read!
When Angelina’s fiancé cheats on her, she sets out to find a dirty one night stand. Gray, her bodyguard, has definite opinions on her choice of bars. He also seems to be directing her in who to pick or who not to pick. When her eyes land on the delicious duo that just walked in, his actions take her completely by surprise. Directing the evening’s entertainment, he leads her into a raunchy sex filled experience with the two men.
I didn’t just need their touch or an orgasm, I needed someone to fill the void left empty by shame, fear, and lack of real connections in my life.
While Angel loves every moment with the men, she yearns for Gray to let go of his restraint and join the trio. She’s fantasized about him for a long time but even as that night feeds additional fantasies, it also brings despair as she realizes that he is not going to make that move.
What follows is a wild and sex filled plan as Angelina learns to throw off the restrictions she has lived under her whole life. Finding herself in the midst of her own sexual revolution, she continues to struggle with her longing for the one man who remains at a distance even as he controls her every encounter with other men.
This isn’t like anything I’ve ever read before as I’m not a fan of menage or harem romances. And while I can objectively say this is one hot read, it didn’t ring my bell. However, I did enjoy being in Angelina’s head while she tries to deal not only with her issues regarding Gray, but her life in general.
I still didn’t want to be his damsel in distress. He still needed to rescue me. Only I could rescue myself.
I can pretty much see where Gray is trying to lead her, but there are a lot of unanswered questions. Despite the plethora of sex detailed in this story, the true story is slowly unraveling and I am very curious to see where this author is going to take us.

Rebound
is the first book of the Curvy Seduction series and I listened to this as an audiobook. I had mixed feelings with the book and it was really hard to give it a rating. While the sex scenes were kinky and hot, but I feel the characters a bit lacking.

Lacy Laurel did an amazing job to bring the book to live. She expertly mastered the voices of so many different characters in the book.

I cannot connect with the characters. Angelina was annoyingly bratty and whiny. She might think her decisions and actions were liberating her inner sexuality, but I find it immature and thoughtless. I couldn’t not understand her mindset; she wanted to be a Domme, but she was totally turn on as a Sub and she knew that Grayson would only allow her to be his Sub if she wanted a relationship with him. Grayson knew what he wanted and explicitly told Angelina, but she refused to compromise. I don’t understand why he put up with her selfish bratty attitude.
It’s totally a case of “It’s not the book, it’s just me”. If you are interested in BDSM, you might want to give this a try. Gray and Angelina’s story continues with Rebellion and Reignite.

This book I DNF. Zero Stars.
I was really looking forward to its release this fall, but I'm pretty disappointed. I expected it to be a story about a curvy girl discovering her beauty and strength and falling in love with her bodyguard - who I assumed deserved her affection. In my opinion, really not the case.
It was basically porn with lots of mental abuse thrown in.
Angelina is spoiled and uncertain.
Gray is a douchebag. Like a serious, controlling, manipulative, unapologetic douchebag. And I'm sorry, if a guy refused to have sex with me because he couldn't have sex without torturing/hurting me (not playing, not getting kinks on, but actually HURTING me because he can't be gentle at all????) then I would RUN FROM HIM AS FAST AS I COULD. And what kind of idiot says stuff like, "I wont do you because you couldn't handle it!" What, is it a magical cock? No human body can handle the sheer sight of you? You're a moron. And I can't take you seriously anymore, as a love interest or a character.
I didn't like the writing, and this book disgusted me.

I enjoyed reading about Angelina and Gray. There are some laugh out loud moments and it’s great to see Gray get jealous at times. Looking forward to the other books in this serial.

This story was like a fast sexy car that went from 0-120 mph from the first chapter! Holy hotness ladies! Whew I want Gray to guard my body! very sexy good story so why not 4 stars? Angelina... I was NOT ready for this book! Truly. I am typically a RomCom kinda gal, and this book had moments of fun but this was a sexy read featuring a curvy goddess coming into her own. From light domination to multiple partners, this is one frolicking good time.

Bodyguard Infatuation

Rebound by Aidy Award book one in the Curvy Seduction Saga that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel. This is the first book by Aidy that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. The book has a lot of steamy scenes with some BDSM included. Lacy did an amazing job narrating. It was easy to distinguish between characters and her voice pulled me into the storyline. I cannot wait to listen to future projects by her. The book does end on a cliffhanger but book two Rebellion and book three Reignite have already been released. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes BDSM and Romance Books.

Another great book Aidy! I always love how you write your characters as strong, intelligent, sexy women even if they start out with an inner monologue of something less than that. Having curves doesn’t mean your anything less than spectacular, having said that, I love how Grant sees Angel that way already but needs her to see herself that way!! I think that’s the biggest problem with being curvy- it’s easier to feel spectacular when you have a partner telling you that you are, it’s a different story to believe that about yourself on your own!! I love that he wants that for her!! 💜💜💜💜💜👍🏻👍🏻

I have been hearing about reverse harems from a Facebook book group I'm in and so I took a chance and picked up this recommendation. Good grief! I need a cold shower.
By definition, a reverse harem is three or more men who potentially show romantic interest in a female protagonist. So you are probably thinking how is this a romance? Well, in addition to the multiple sexy men part there is a BDSM theme as well. I wasn't sure what to expect from this story, but I found was something so much more then I ever expected! It was excruciatingly touching with a depth I had no idea would make me crumble to my knees. My heart will never survive this entire story, I can feel that right now. This story will tear you apart and make you into something so much more when its done. It will make you think and challenge you every step of the way. This is a story about wanting to live life on your own terms, and yet you have no idea what those terms are. “Angel, look. You were amazing last night. It killed me, but you were so damn perfect in your exploration of that darker side of yourself. I hope you got what you were looking for.”
This book was hard for me to rate and review. I think this is a case of the book being good but just not my style.
First, what I liked about the book. It was written well and it was 5 alarm fire steamy! Seriously, you’ll need to fan yourself with your kindle!

What I hated: Angelina. She’s a horrible heroine. She’s a whiney spoiled brat and does things she knows will intentionally hurt gray. Frankly, I don’t know what he sees in her. She says all she wants is him so why is she pushing so hard to be a Domme when she knows he needs a sub, it’s just stupid.
Lastly, what made me personally uncomfortable which may not bother others. Gray admits he’s in love with Angelina, has been for years but he’s a VIP member at a BDSM club. That means he goes there and does scenes A LOT. Even if the owner said he hadn’t seen him in awhile I’m sure it hasn’t been the six years he’s claimed to be in love with Angelina. Also, him allowing her to be with other men, even if he’s there watching... it just didn’t feel good to me. Shouldn’t he want her all to himself if he loves her instead of encouraging her to do all this sexual exploration? Like, I said, it wasn’t for me.
It does end on a cliffhanger and there are two more books in the series. I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the other books. If I do read on I think I’ll need a break before I pick up the next one. This book really messed with my head and emotions.

I found it to have a lot of different intimate scenes of various kinds, but a slow build up as the characters and their relationships were being developed. Angelina wasn't looking for love, but found she has strong feelings for her bodyguard Gray. Gray is a dom and knows Angelina needs to experience life, and learn his world before anything can happen between them. The slow burn between these two is incendiary, the love is real and the relationship growing. I love Gray, his character is strong and potent. Aidy Award writes him with a fierce passion and it's easy to feel his strong emotions without him actually showing them. His protectiveness over Angelina is solid and she will be safe as long as she is under his care. Angelina is a little more difficult for me to connect to. She truly does have a bratty side, but as the story progresses, there is some growth in her perception of what love is and where she wants to be. This installment will leave you wanting to see what happens next to this couple.

Oh, let me tell you... This book was amazing on so many levels. The writing was not only steamy but absolutely captivating. It held me spellbound for the whole ride. Not to give away the story but it centers around a curvy rich girl who is used to being coddled. She is trying to assert herself and learn to stand up to those that wish to use her for her families connections. She has been treated badly and finally decides she deserves more. Through her carnal explorations, she gains the confidence and self-worth that she has been lacking. I classify this story as a reverse harem. Aidy gave us some amazing characters that i found it extremely easy to connect with and root for.
Lacy's amazing narration took this book to a whole new level! There were so many voices to master for the plethora of characters. She did an amazing job! This is one of her best narrations yet and that says a lot! You could hear house much she was enjoying the story in her voice. it was so great to listen to. Absolutely no complaints. Easy Easy purchase!

This book was so steamy and hot from the get-go. Who doesn't love a hot, sexy Alpha bodyguard? Add a bunch of steamy dominant/submission menage scenes and you will be needing new panties. You will need multiple pairs listening to this book. It was so hot.

Gray is her bodyguard who she has been in love with for quite some time but has made it perfectly clear he doesn't want her in the same way. He lies. He does he just doesn't want to be her rebound. He wants her to find herself and then come to him amongst other things. This starts off Angel's quest of finding herself and letting go of insecurities and who she thought she had to be due to society and the life she has grown up in. This is the second book I’ve listened to by Aidy Award and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Angelina is a wealthy young woman who found her fiance cheating with her best friend. She thinks she has come up with the perfect solution but may have gotten more than she bargained for! Gray had been hired by her dad as a bodyguard. She has flirted with Gray for quite some time, but he never gave any hint of whether or not the flirting would be well received. Unbeknownst to her… they would be if she wasn’t in a relationship. Gray desired Angelina from the moment he saw her. However, with her being a relationship with her douchebag of a fiance complicated matters.
There was humor, there was sex… a lot of sex, but well written. Angelina was a bit wishy-washy for me, but I was in love with Gray. He’s protective and loving and just an all around great guy. He’s the type of guy who should get the girl. Lacy Laurel’s narration brought the story to life with humor and personality. This story does end in a cliffhanger, but it sets up book 2 perfectly.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "REBOUND" This was a very interesting entertaining captivating hot steamy storyline you just can't put down my only annoyance is that you have to read 2 more books to get the full story I'm totally not a fan of cliffhangers.

Gray takes Angel to the BDSM Club Asylum owned by Foster Bennett where he's a member but she thinks he's slime and Gray doesn't like his attitude towards Angel
Gray offers to train her as she's not into vanilla sex.

What an absolutely fun read! Angelina catches her fiance having sex with her best friend at her engagement party. She dumps him and sets out have revenge sex. Grayson her bodyguard refuses her so she sets off to a dive bar to pick up a random stranger. After picking up 2 hot guys she has the time of her life. With the permission of both guys she has Gray record their encounter for use against her ex later. This fun read takes you through Angelina's quest to find herself after always being what everyone else expected of her. In the process she tries to turn Gray's head her way.
Love the author's writing style. She writes fun characters who I totally connected with. I love that the female's in her stories are curvy girls. Nice for a change to not have the perfect little main character. I can't wait for the next book! Grab this fun, easy read for yourself and start your curvy girl journey.

Gray finally agreed to train Angelina but then she isn't sure she wants another man in her life to have control over her anymore. Angelina seems to be all over the place with regards to get feelings for Gray.

Wow...
I read this straight through because I couldn't put it down. I love Angel's sassyness and sense of humor and I could seriously relate to a lot of how she saw herself and how she felt men in general see her, but especially how she thought Grayson viewed her. Or rather that he didn't feel anything for her. I have to admit I love Grayson. The fact that this is not a dual POV book did frustrate me because I wanted to know that Gray truly cared for her and know that even though she didn't know it herself, she was loved. But he is so stoic not much comes out in his actions or his words and you're left wondering what exactly it is he feels for her and wants from her other than sex. I didn't realize it until the end, but this is a 5 book series in total that apparently covers the advancement of their relationship. Given how good this book was I definitely want to finish it to the end.

This is truly smut!
I love Aidy, she is one of my favorite smutty writers! This is not the first time I've gone through this series although, I am confused on why I can't buy the physical books anymore, I can only listen to my Audible purchases which saddens me.
We have our curvy scorned FMC and her bodyguard, that is a master dom. She wants him, he obviously wants her but doesn't feel she's ready to handle his "attentions" yet and she needs to sow her wild oats for lack of a better term. He does what he can to keep her safe while allowing her to try whatever she desires... except for him. He refuses to be her rebound but supports her and controls EVERYTHING while she rebounds on all the peen she wants. It starts a menage' and turns into her having her own Haram. By the end of the first book she wants to learn certain aspects of the lifestyle and he wants to train her but she's determined to prove she can do it with out him....

Audio review:
This book was a really good series starter by a new to me author. Aidy Award introduces a fun cast of characters in Rebound. I really liked leading lady Angelina. I feel bad for what lead her to the situation we first find her in, but it certainly made things interesting. This book is part BDSM, part Reverse Harem, and all awesome. I found myself listening at every available moment and often smiling or laughing. What also helped was the great narration provided by Lacy Laurel. She just is such a pleasure to listen to, especially with her Spanish phrases, animated performance, and varying tones. I really like her male voices. She gives each guy a different sound and her leading male voice is pretty darn good.
This story ended with things in the air and unsettled. I cannot wait to continue this journey with Angelina, Gray, and the rest of her men.

I found myself listening at every available moment and often smiling or laughing. What also helped was the great narration provided by Lacy Laurel. She just is such a pleasure to listen to, especially with her Spanish phrases, animated performance, and varying tones. I really like her male voices. She gives each guy a different sound and her leading male voice is pretty darn good.
This story ended with things in the air and unsettled. I cannot wait to continue this journey with Angelina, Gray, and the rest of her men.
