Especially for people who are grieving a loved one's death during the Holiday Season. It includes:
1. How to deal with the many emotions you'll face during the holidays 2. What to do about traditions and other coming changes 3. Helpful tips for surviving social events 4. How to discover hope for your future
This small book contains practical and comforting advice from others who have lost loved ones. It’s good to read before Thanksgiving, but still worth it if you can’t. My favorite part is the lists of ideas of how to celebrate the holidays or what to give up. Short and helpful book.
This had some helpful ideas and I will probably come back to it. I think I expected it to heal me more than it did. Not a fair expectation of me to put on this book, but how could I not.
OWN I did this along with a grief share meeting for surviving the holidays. I thought it was very informative and practical. Helps you to prepare and also accept how you feel about it.
This book is very practical (the videos are outdated). It would be helpful to read the first year after a loss and again after a few years. Better yet, have your family and friends read it to be more aware of your circumstances. Highly recommend this short and helpful guide.
