This was an amazing series with incredible characters and stories that made you cry, laugh and need a cold shower after.. There were some serious issues brought to light that are an everyday hardship for many and it doesn't get talked about enough... I loved each and every story...

Each story was a full length novel. Each telling the story of how they met. The ups and downs within the relationships. The amount of "love" each have for their partners.
This book was intense, erotic, fun loving and insightful. I highly recommend this 5 star read.

3 1/2 Stars as a whole! Complete 6 book series. Four full length and two novellas. Each book about a different couple but all the books follow the same friend group. I liked the secondary characters being throughout the series.
For me the books kept getting better and I wanted to keep reading to see what characters would have their own book next and follow their HEA. I liked how some characters that weren't that likable early on in the series were redeemed when they got their own books.

Rock'n Roller Coasters
Awesome collection that rolls into one another although stand alones to. A great story of how the band members find their loves in a world of "Rock Stars" drama!action hot and sexy romance. Some stories have violence and abuse...drugs and lots of emotions. Great writing

The Southern Roots series ake
This book is comprised of several smaller books all surrounding a town in Texas. Each book follows a different couple, but they are all interconnected books. I really enjoyed reading this series. I especially enjoyed Matt and Makayla’s story!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Collection
An amazing collection of six books. Loved how they all interconnected. My favorite was Abby and Clive's book. I didn't think I would like her story for things that happened in book one but her characters really surprised me.

Southern Roots:
Loved this book! This is a new genre for me but since I love this authors other books I gave this a try and can I just say WOW!!! This story focuses on a building romance between Bobby Ray and Lexi. They are an adorable, sweet and well perfect couple. Both have some trust issues when it comes to relationships so will they be able to overcome that and let each other in? This is a definite must read and I can't wait to hear more about Blaine in the second book and Abby in the third.
City Lights:
WOW!!! So many of you like myself probably hated Blaine while reading the first book in this series, Southern Roots. Well City Lights is Blaine's story, he's clean, in love and well let's just say this is about his redemption for what he did in the past. Blain is about two years sober when he meets Penelope Shade, or as her stage name, Penny Wise, for the band Mongrels of Soul. Blaine is immediately taken by her but the catch is, she has a boyfriend back home. After Mongrels perform that first night Blaine meets them, he knows he want's to produce them. Being that they aren't from Colorado, Blaine offers up his home for the band to stay in while getting their first album recorded. Blaine still in his own band, Deep Ember, and still struggles with being around sex, drugs and alcohol. He is an addict so it can be hard for him if it's all in front of him for the taking. This story takes you on Blaine's journey and how he sees things so much clearer now that he is clean and sober. After you read this, you will not only feel for Blaine but also come to enjoy him as a person as well. He has been through so much.
Fueled Desire:
For those that read the first book from the Southern Roots Series where you first met Abby, well this book is where you learn more about her back story and you actually really feel for her. Abby decides to go to Scotland, India and then Australia to find herself as a person and to see what she really wants out of life. On her way to Scotland, she meets Clive who has the seat next to her in first class. Clive is a funny yet dirty mind kind of guy that makes Abby really laugh for the first time I think. During her time in Scotland they get to know each other and develop feelings. She then leaves to go to India where she discovers some terrible news and has to immediately go back to Texas. Will Abby and Clive last or was it just a fling during her time there? Can Abby deal with what happened in Texas or will it cause her to go back to her old ways so she doesn't have to deal with feelings? Find out in this third story, Fueled Desire, now! After reading this, Abby has become one of my favorites.
Driven Hunger:
Loved this book. This is my favorite book from the Southern Roots Series. I feel in love with Makayla in Southern Roots and Matt in City Lights. Of course I love all the books and the characters all have grown on me but this was my favorite. I was first shocked with Conner, never did I peg him to be an abusive person. I like him and Makayla together in Southern Roots they seemed great together. But after what he did, it was things that are unforgiveable and when her and Matt became benifriends, well I just knew that they were perfect for each other. Matt is the kind of guy who doesn't do relationships and Makayla is just looking to have some fun. So their arrangement is perfect! But Chuck is right when he says how someone always gets hurt in the end, or something along those lines. Will one fall for the other? Will Conner make an appearance back in Makayla's life and if he does would she take him back? When Makayla goes through a near death experience, she will know which man is truly there for her. I loved seeing the relationship form between Makayla and Matt even if it's just as benifriends. Can't wait to read the fifth story from the Southern Roots series, Julie is truly an amazing author!
Paramour:
This book was amazing, this is the final book of the Southern Roots series and it was Derek's story. Derek is worried to come out as a gay singer because he fears it will hurt his band and the band Deep Ember. When Penelope introduces Derek to Scott, will Derek take a chance on love? The two guys hit it off pretty fast but since Derek is still in the closet, so is the relationship. After Derek invites Scott to come to one of the concerts, Scott realizes Derek doesn't want people to know that he is gay besides his close friends. But what will happen when someone sneaks in the green room and leaks that the lead singer of Mongrels of Soul might be gay, will Derek lose everything he has worked hard to have including his relationship with Scott? Find out when you read this amazing story, Paramour.
Playing Her Body:
Jordan is at his band mate, Blaine's bachelor party while Natalie is in town for a short while for her cousins wedding. When Natalie see's Jordan at the bar, she can't help but flirt with him. The two of them hit it off well, and Jordan is thankful that she doesn't act like another fan girl even though she's aware of who he is. But a one night stand left both of them wanting more, will they see each other again before she goes back to Chicago?

This collection is AMAZING !! I savored it slowly <3 Definitely recommended for anyone who is looking for an amazing series to read.
