Alien Space Outlaws

Rate this book
Go to space they said! Be an astronaut they said! Do something that only a few people in the world have ever done they said! No one ever said go into space and get abducted by big aliens so that you can be sold to the highest bidder though. It's funny how no one ever said that.
As the resident geologist for the International Space Station, I expected a few things during my stay in space - maybe run some particle tests, collect some space dust, run some experiments and enjoy the view. What I didn't expect was to be abducted by a huge, terrifying alien, get carted across the universe and then have to be on the run with said terrifying alien because he apparently doesn't know how to stay out of trouble. And the very last thing I expected was to actually find the infuriatingly cocky alien sexy and charming.
So now I have to figure out a way to survive space, the intergalactic mafia and all the random aliens who want to have me as a pet or wear me as a hat, and I have to do it all without falling for the guy who abducted me in the first place. Wish me luck?**

Alien Space Outlaws is a full length novel and the sequel to the Alien Space Pirates serial! This is the story of Jordan's abduction, but it can be enjoyed on its own as well! This book is a sci fi romance full of sexy aliens, sensual (and sometimes awkward) situations, humor and all the steaminess that readers love! Enjoy!**

Lose Yourself on Pleasure Planet

Such a fun story. Our heroine, Jordan, is such a hoot. She's witty, strong and passionate. I enjoyed immersing myself in the amazing world of alien species Author Mara Frost, brings to life. I could feel Jordan's excitement at seeing each species she came in contact with. The author has an incredible way of storytelling that allows you to sink into the alien landscape with our protagonists. I sincerely hope she writes more of the same.

Thank you Mara for another amazing story! Any book that makes you laugh out loud with solid characters and a wonderful storyline is Five stars all the way. Both Dakhar's and Kaveth's books are phenomenal and worth your time. Please continue sharing these with us!

This sophomore story didn't live up to the promise of the first one. Yeah there is snark and cleverness, and a zillion aliens, but it just didn't hold together for me.

Big blue bumbling idiot

Even though he told Darkhar that humans didn't seem like lesser beings, Kaveth underestimates Jordan. Tossed into a cargo hold with a big eyed, 6 limbed space monkey...that breathes fire... Jordan manages to bond with it and free it. Kaveth may have thought humans weren't stupid, but he didn't give them a lot of credit for intelligence as a whole. Until he sees how Jordan watches everything around her. Unfortunate leaking (crying, and hey, being kidnapped in space by aliens will make a girl cry) aside, she shows her intelligence by questioning everything Kaveth does. Which turns out to be a good thing. Kaveth rather enjoys life as a space pirate. He has a female in every port, sometimes many in the same port. Especially on a planet that is dedicated to pleasure. A place they are forced to hide when one of his past indiscretions catches up to him. Maybe sleeping with the wife of a very wealthy, and very nasty, Mafia (of sorts) alien wasn't such a good idea? Nah. Secreted in a brothel, disguised as a worker there, actually turns out rather interesting for Jordan. Maybe not the welcome committee of 100 various hookers that greeted Kaveth on the way in, but seeing all the various life forms that make up this huge universe- that got about bigger after her kidnapping. That's why she joined the space program and became an astronaut after all, the chance to go into space and discover new life. She just figured it would be a bacteria on a distant moon or planet in her own galaxy, not a smooth talking giant blue ladies man that would steal her off the International Space Station. But, that angry alien manages to find them and tosses her and Kaveth to the surface of a planet he has designed to be a giant death trap. Basically, a thousand ways to die in space brought to you by an angry, chubby, vengeful, phlegmy, coughing frog of an alien. Sounds delightful! Forget worrying about being sold to someone mysterious alien, or pounced on by the previous patrons of the brothel, this new hell is a doozy and the current less than joyful highlight of what has been a nightmare of a journey so far. Why did Jordan decide that space sounded like fun again? And will she ever get back to Earth, and maybe even Dani, again?

This one was a little different than the Pirates trilogy that became a single novel set. Spoilers ahead! Jordan has a wicked sarcastic side but a more fragile hold on her emotions. She's not a ninny by any means just more prone to expressing her upset with tears vs running off at the mouth as Dani did. Kaveth is a more fluid character than Darkhar. He happily bounces from moment to moment with a cavalier attitude and an eye out for pleasure. That is, until a pale human under his charge changes his life. Learning her species isn't a lesser life form is one thing, learning that she is the other half of his heart is quite another. His rakish ways are quickly converted, with only a few moments of (hilarious) sadness on his part. The teary eyed stare at the synth while he comes to grips with this had me laughing. I don't know if this series will continue past these 2, or whether the next one will feature Valcor (think that's the grey mercenary guy's name from Pirates) or Lok (the mysterious hero from the brothel in this one, right?) but the humor and fun are something to look forward to if Frost decides to carry this further. Which I hope she does!

An alien Rom - Com !

It's not what you expect after seeing the cover and title. I so appreciated this book as it is so different than most of the e books I've read of this genre. I laughed and chuckled all through the book. The lead characters are likeable , believable and fun . The imagination used by Ms. Frost with her various aliens during the Pleasure Planet visit is marvelous ! Yes , it has sex , not too much and not vulgar or too descriptive ( even though I don't mind it ) as it just wouldn't fit in this novel. I would like to read more of the adventures of Kaveth and Jordan . So many books end with the hero and heroine finding their HEA . I would like to read what happens in their life - ever - after (LEA). Where do they go ? Do they settle down ? Do they visit Earth , other strange planets ? Do they have kids ? Yes , it's nice reading the story of other characters introduced in the book , but when the book is good , the characters likeable , it makes the reader want more . Saying that , I look forward to more from Ms. Frost !

This is why thay always say not to judge a book by its cover! As with everything else I have read from Mara Frost, the covers and title of her books are low key embarassing, but the stories are well written, fast paced, and fun.

To me, it's the perfect amount of adventurous and fun with well devloped characters and enough world building to allow it to fall into the background. It is the right balance of unserious, appealing, and intreaguing to make for the space opera version of a holiday romp.

I made it about 1/3 of the way before I couldn’t take it anymore. I don’t like my hero’s to be man whores really really hate it but if it’s a really good book I can overlook it. But this book shoved it in your face every second it could that he has had sex with hundreds of women. If not more. Like there wasn’t even a couple pages where they didn’t mention it once. And not to mention he was just an asshole in general. And the heroine let him! She put a weak and inadequate resistance to him. My heart actually hurts thinking about what he put her through especially at the pleasure planet

Reform

It's was witty and sexy. And the reformion of a man whore into husband by kaveth is sweet. And the reunion with Dani and Dakhar is just as fun as one can expect. Totally enjoyed this fourth book.

I LOVED this book, really romantic with the addition of great sex. The characters are so well written, that I found myself on another planet, battling the antagonists and falling in love with the big blue alien. I couldn’t put the book down.
