I actually read book 3 some time before reading the trilogy in it's entirety. The trilogy is complex, with a fully developed cast of characters. There is plenty of violence and betrayal. Not for the squeamish. There are so many issues with relationships of all kinds addressed here.
So many different responses to similar situations, it makes me wonder what I might do if I had to make those choices.

I found this box set a fantastic read, starts off slowly and then bang it pulls you in. It’s not a genre I would have normally picked but am glad I did.

What can I say but? WOW. This tale entwines the world and people at different stages in the evolution chain with ease and with surprising results. The story starts as a slow burn to allow the characters to form and tell the story of how they came about. After that all hell breaks loose as waring factions, loves and desires, family fueds and blood and death make their own indelable mark. I love and hate with equal measure (more love) the fact that I had no choice but to turn the next page to find out what happens next. So scroll back up click purchase and make sure the doors locked, curtain closed and sitting in a comfy chair, it's one hell of a ride.

Dystopian story of love and war. It keeps you gripped and continuously wanting more. I loved the class divide and the way the characters lives are all entangled with each other’s. You find yourself genuinely loving some of the characters and really wanting to punch others. A fun ride and not like anything I had read before. So glad I gave it a chance and now have a new genre to pore over.
