This book promises 24 games to keep a dog busy and I had high hopes that I would learn at least one or two new games for my very lively dog. But unfortunately, this book only describes the most common games. If you are a new dog owner, this book might be of interest to you, but if you have owned dogs for years, it is very likely that you do not need this book.

easy games for an energetic dog!

Of the twenty described games, there was at least half that my Oliver would love. The rest I could see my husband or I “talking him into it” . This was an easy read and an easy attempt to keep him occupied! Worth it!

Good ideas, but

This little book contains many exercises to occupy an active puppy. However, it would have been nice if the author gave more detail or even illustrations of the exercises briefly described.

How to tire your dog out

Great book to remind me of the games I can play with my dogs. I hadn't thought of the musical statue game, really good for obedience in a fun way. I'll give this one a go for sure.

Most of this was pretty common, but it was worth the read for some good ideas I had not heard before.

Just a list of games with minimal instructions. Quite a few had to be purchased. One is not for anyone that is worried about teaching there dog to destroy items.

no explanations of the games

There is a great list of games listed, but there is no explanation to teach the dog how to play it- one has to google the game rules and how to actually teach the dog to play.

This is a great collection of things that anyone could add to their daily routine with their pup.

As a dog trainer I teach all of these games to my pooch parents. This is a great resource that I can recommend to keep pooches and their family's happy for years!
