The feels. !
This is the second book in the Burning series by Author Anne Welch.
I thoroughly enjoyed it .
Jay a cop and big brother to Gracie from book one in Burning Fury . Was dedicated to his job and his sister.
Having raised Gracie on his own when their parents died he had to sacrifice alot
He have up college and a started night classes in criminal justice.
He never wanted kids or marriage and was commitment scared when it came to relationships .
Rachel is a paramedic and also Gracie's best friend. Being raised by her grandmother from an early age after her mum died she to had commitment issues not knowing who her father was it was Rachel and her grandma against the world . Until her grandma died and she was left on her own . Both having feelings for each other but skating around the feels and not wanting to ruin a friendship. both Jay and Rachel let one night of alcohol fueled Passion sweep them off their feet yet not realising in a matter of weeks that one night will change them both forever.
With a crazed sniper on the loose and buildings being blown up can two people put aside their fears and embrace the burning passion they both know is there ? Or will it all come crumbling down on top of them ?
I really enjoyed this series and I hope that there will be another book soon .
