Shoyo Hinata is out to prove that in volleyball you don't need to be tall to fly!
Ever since he saw the legendary player known as “the Little Giant” compete at the national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has been aiming to be the best volleyball player ever! Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump higher than anyone else?
Kenma Kozume has tried to keep Kageyama and Hinata contained in a birdcage, but they finally break free with a bold four set! Now that Hinata has added height to his arsenal, Nekoma brings out their own rookie tandem of giants—Lev Haiba and Sou Inuoka—to stop him! The Dumpster Battle dives into the final, climactic set… Who will come out on top, Hinata or Kozume?!
I have no words. I really can't explain how great this volume is. Kenma and Kuroo's friendship, Hinata's rivalry with Kenma and Inouka, Tsukki rising to the challenge (literally and metaphorically), everything in this volume was FUCKING BRILLIANT. I cannot WAIT to see the end of this match, this has been a wild ride from the start and the ending is bound to be epic.
Bisogna rileggere il match dall'inizio alla fine, tutto in una volta!!
EDIT 01/12/20 Rilettura in italiano.
Kuroo e Kenma da piccoli *.*
Continuano le imprecisioni della Star comics: Teshiro è l'alzatore del primo anno della Nekoma, NON è il centrale. Questo errore si trascina dallo scorso volume.

"Yeah, we're all rivals here. But, at the same time…each of us are…a teacher."
I'm not crying, you're crying…
Another impactful ending in this series with just SO many feels!
One of my favorite Nekoma players came on the scene and was SO excited! Inuoka is one of my fave characters in general and absolutely loved seeing him getting some time and spotlight! <3 Also, seeing how he remembers who Hinata use to be was strangely moving (as well as him saying he can't get left behind because he wants to beat Hinata <3). Definitely had some nostalgic feels in the beginning too because seeing Hinata remember different tosses put up for him from long ago and getting a "special" toss from Kageyama was feelssssss.)
I LOVED getting glimpses of Kenma and Kuroo's backstory! How cool was that!? Kuroo was not the guy I thought he was and really love their friendship! Based off the next cover, I am assuming we will get more and totally here for it!
One of the best parts in this volume is the relation to the cover and the actual scene. I literally laughed and snorted because it was so unexpected! LOL! SO good and love everything that followed that because these two guys are just amazing!
Probably one of my favorite chapters is "Guardians." Noya said back in wayyyy earlier volumes that the crowd gets more excited over a good save than a good spike and I think that is true, even just as a reader. I had to take a moment to calm down before I could keep reading because that one scene with Noya was SOOOO good! Also, definitely have to say the chapter Master and Student: Part 2 was VERY good too! Man I am LOVING these Tsukki vibes SO much! (And Yams too!!)
That ending made me want to cry. It truly hit me in the feels and not sure if that was purposeful or not, but it was amazing.
You know the groove is good when you just HAVE to go right into the next one. 35 to 36 was that for me. I am also really happy that I do not have to wait for these to release!!
hi, i just want to state that my rating on this volume is the 1000th rating, ok, bye.
this game is the best game of the series so far KENMA KOZUME MY BABY I LOVE YOU FINALLY SAYING THIS WAS FUN AND THE HUG BETWEEN DAICHI AND KUROO BROKE ME I LOVE YOU ALL GUYS YOU’RE ALL SO CUTE
i’ve never thought this series would have such an impact on me, but here i am, in a kingdom of overly ambitious freaks, finally feeling like i belong somewhere.
the kuroken backstory! the metal gear cameo! the deliciously illustrated metaphorical knives to the throat between hinata and kenma! the foreshadowed fake out! what a rush!!

And it keeps on coming, simply excellent so far, really the one thing Haikyuu built up to from the jump... I have no idea how the upcoming (and inevitable) Fukurodani match will beat this, nobody got the rapport with Bokuto (not even Hinata nor Tsukki) that they got with the Nekomas.
