Declan Jones and Lucky Dickson have been together for twenty years. Declan is still dealing with the loss of his brother and Lucky is just trying to fix every broken car he comes across. They live a quiet life, except for on the weekends when they go to the club to find a third to spend a night with. When Alex Rhodes comes into town, they know they want him for a night. They never knew one night would lead to many, many more.
Alex's life is completely upside down. He just broke up with long term boyfriend, moved to Glensville and got a job with his old college roommate. Right now is not a good time to start feeling something for someone. Let alone two people. He tells himself that he will only be with Declan and Lucky for one night, but Alex can't deny Lucky and Declan are getting under his skin and into his heart. Can the three of them figure out how to navigate a relationship?
Alex is a MMM romance book intended for readers 18 and over.
Hi, I'm Nicki. When I'm not writing the latest erotic fantasy that pops in my head, I am cooking, reading, watching movies or traveling. I write mostly short erotic stories featuring LGBTQIA+ characters. I like my stories to be about men and women who find love in each other, and can explore their sexual natures together. Sometimes my stories have a little BDSM, sometimes they are a little more...vanilla. I like to represent a wide variety of characters in my stories, that way there is something for everyone within the pages of my stories. But don't worry there is always a happy ending.
DNF 32% No rating A little cheesy and predictable, with time-jumps that dismiss all the getting-to-know-you stuff in favour of getting right to the sex.
I think that what bothered me the most about this book was that the triad relationship was based mainly on physical attraction. I definitely got the feeling that if these guys did not look the way they look and have hot sex, they wouldn't be together. Any kind of emotional connection or chemistry remained cheesy and unconvincing. I know this is an erotica book, and we are not reading it for the realistic relationship descriptions, but IMO, when an erotica author choose to add romance and fluff into the mix she should try to make them believable. That was not the case here. The relationship development was idealistic and lacked any real conflict (especially the kind of problems you expect when a new guy dates a couple of high school sweethearts).
