It was okay. I was expecting a lot more from this book. This story was very slow then when things happened they were over very quickly and after all the setup I was thinking was that it? I think this was a bit of a cheeky way to promote another series.

The thing is I really do you like this series, there were 4 important point that happened in this book which really made this okay then a disappointment for me. The thing that I am not happy about is there is was a so much setup and then when and event happens it is a paragraph or a page at more. Except a cross over with another series I think the important part of this book could very easily have been incorporated into the another book, I personally thing the story should have been moved on a lot further then it was in this book.

I like this series less with each book because the same types of issues keep piling on each other.

Very little in this world is fully described. At one point, many people shift to their dragons at once in a forest, and I realized I have no idea how big those dragons are or whether it was actually possible for them to shift there without destroying every nearby tree. I shouldn't have this problem in the fourth book.

The dialogue remains stiff and awkward, and the characters lack any real development. People keep talking about how the MC isn't who she used to be, but she doesn't seem any different than she was in book 1. The author likes to just say that people's relationships have changed without actually showing the process of that change. I don't understand why .

Many other elements just didn't make sense. In the shower scene, . Also, the discussion with Melody in the nursing home (or whatever) seemed too convenient: .

I also hate that someone is missing memories of the MC again. It's not interesting anymore, though the other part of that situation is.

Book 5 won't be out for a few more months, and I'm not sure I'll read it when it does come out. I'm losing patience with the series, and I'm not sure that my limited interest will hold over the next few months.

Choice

Issy must choose between her kingdom and her men. I don't envy her. Being imprisoned by insane hunters was not as horrible as it could have been. I loved that she was able to find some family and friends in all of this.

"Fate be damned"

This. This right here was freaking amazing! By far the best in the series. There was so much action (of both kinds ;)), and there was a crossover with Winter from Bailey's other series!

Everything has finally started going into action, getting ready for what I'm sure is going to be an explosive ending. But none of it matters anymore, as a shocking twist comes that no one was ever expecting. No one knows what to do anymore. Either way, someone will die...

Of course, in the typical G Bailey fashion, we were left hanging on a cliff -_- I honestly have no idea how everything is going to turn out. All I know is that Isola and her sexy guards better make it out alive.

Hmmmm. I’m still getting my head right after finishing this book.

This one starts off right where the previous book ended. Isola and her dragons wake up in some facility where they are in cages and drowsy from the drugs. Issy formally meets Hallie’s father, who is a serious douche canoe. He tells her some crazy information about her father and explains what the facility is there for. Issy meets new dragons in this facility and she hopes she can save them all. All the while she’s freaking out because Eli.

Shit definitely pops off in this book which makes me enjoy this series even more. It’s quickly becoming my favorite series of G Bailey. ☺️

I love this series and am sad there is only one book left. Gem is amazing at creating these interconnecting worlds and it is so great to see a little more of the characters from her other series that you love. Isola is still a bad @ss in these books. I love her strength and love of her men. Even when there doesn't seem like any hope she still believes she can save everyone. The same can be said of her men, all of them will put their lives on the line for Isola and have done so in this book. Gem please give me Elias back, you have never let me down before. I need them all with a happy ending in the final book. Please and thank you <3

So I binged all 4 of these books in the last week. They were all so fantastic. I love Isola. I love her dragons. I love the world. I pretty much just love everything about this book. And I love that this one connected with one of her other series. I won't give things away but I loved seeing these characters together!

I am so excited for the next book. Well I am excited and sad because it's the last in the series but I need to know what happens!!

This book was given to me by the author.

soooooo freaking good!

The twist and turns in Wings of Fate were so freaking good. I loved everything about it. From betrayal to finally claiming a love (or two) - it was such a page turner. Each book starts where the previous one has left off. In this one, Isola and most of her dragon gang have been captured by hunters. Then there's Elias, who was captured by Thorne's evil ass momma.

Isola wants all of her dragons back together, with her of course. She doesn't like being separated by just one.. let alone all of them. They are very protective of each other and I couldn't wait for a reunion. However, once I got that.. man, was I shook. So many things came out in the open and now I have so many freaking questions about what the hell is going on.

I need to know if what happened to Elias is true. If Melody's visions are true as well.. because that can't happen? Also, why do people have to die? Why can't all the bad people die and just call it a day? I seriously just want a happy ending overall but these books are such freaking page turners that I can't wait to dive into the next one!

This series just keeps getting better and better as each new installment comes out with this being the best so far. Isola has been captured yet again waking up in her new surroundings at the start of the book. Elias if course is still captive in Dragca but the rest of the men are with her as they try to figure what is going on and how to escape. The problem is that there are quite a few surprises and new people to thrown a few kinks in the plan. Even once back in Dragca things are not smooth making one wonder if poor Isola will ever a break. Things are building to a great crescendo at this point and I can't wait to see how this will all end. if you love dragons, magic, and Rh then you have to read this book/series. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Continuing on from Wings of Spirit where the curse was lifted and Isola’s Dragon
Guards have received their dragons back. However Elias is captured and left in Dragca with Tatarina and Esmeralda, and unfortunately for Issy, Earth isn’t any safer for her and her family as they are caught by the Hunter’s Organisation and betrayed by Hallie the second they step through the portal...

Will they be able to escape? Will Eli be safe in Dragca? Who’s side is Hallie really on? Luckily this isn’t the end of the series, and I’m looking forward to the next book - Wings of Dragca.

This is a wonderful mashup and cross over of other books from G Bailey, including Queen Winter from the Her Guardians series. The extra information about the Hunter’s Organisation history and what is happening in the compound is fantastic, especially if you’ve read Adelaide’s Fate as well.

2.5-3 stars for me. In all honesty the best thing about this book was its tie ins with the "Her Guardian" series. Unfortunately I haven't read that series yet...... so I feel all discombobulated really. Other than that I felt this book was a very short filler leading to the finale. I felt the journey was the highlight in the last book. Its amazing to me that an author can be both so fast paced on plot points getting straight to the point, and at the same time dragging those plot points out for millennia lol. I need to go backwards and sideways and get the whole of this story before my OCD drives me insane!

Frustrated

I loved the first 2 books in this series but now it's starting to get repetitive. It took me days to finish this book which only happens when I'm reading. 400+ page book. I know I'll read the final book in this series, but I don't think I will read this author in the future until her series are completed.

Holy Wow.

I know I've said it before but I'll say it again, G. Bailey is amazing. I am completely blown away by the connecting story lines between her different series. Everything is coming together, both in this series and in the others connected by Earth, Dragca, and Fray, and I am in awe.

Wings of Fate brought some many old characters into the the plot and I can't even express how excited I am! I loved seeing Winter again and am freaking amazed with the connection G. Bailey made between the hated Graves and Isola's friend on Earth. And the history of the hunters organization... just wow.

This book was seriously amazing. So much happened, on Earth and Dragca, and now Isola and the guys are fighting for the throne and the lives of the people of Dragca, including one of their own. Tatarina's darkness has reached insanely far, and Isola needs to find a way to balance it out before everyone she loves is destroyed.

This series just keeps getting better and I cannot wait to read the next installment!

***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***
This book picked right up where the last one left off. The characters and their development are what I really love about this series. You never know what G. Bailey is going to spring on us next.
Isola figured out how to get her dragon guards dragons back. She is really put to the test in this book and there is a lot of heartbreak. Isola's dragon guards all want to protect her and put themselves in danger to protect her. Everything they do is for her and her safety.
I am so excited this series loops into the Her Guardian Series. I love Winter and was thrilled to have a glimpse of her in this book. I hope she is also in the last book in this series.
Man that cliff hanger though. I want to know what happens next now! This was a great book and I cannot wait to read the next one in the series! If you have not read this series, I recommend you grab your copy now!

Holy fricken hell. Gem is sending my heart through the ringer for this book. We pick up where we left off in book 3 and we get to meet some Hunters. Always a fun time with those d-bags. *insert eye roll*
Isola has some really good bonding moments in this book, but she is put through a lot of torment and heartbreak as well.
I squealed and fan girled like crazy when we get to meet a few characters from one of Gem’s other series. (Omfg it was amazing and I’m so excited to hopefully see more of them interacting with Isola and her mates)
This book was amazing! I loved every second of it and absolutely cannot wait to see how the series wraps up in the end!
I highly recommend this read and the series as a whole!

This book picked up right where the other left off. This was a good book, but I felt like it left some details out and sometimes moved on a little quicky. I was hoping for more things to happen in this particular book because I felt that we didn’t get a lot of things that progressed. Even though it was a quick read I felt that it was slow moving. The storylines are finally coming together though and answers are being answered from previous books. The action is good and again hooks you into the story. This is great series and I can't wait for the last and final book, it definitely leaves you needing to follow through with Isla and the guys!

Once again Gem delivers a story filled with everything one needs in a RH paranormal romance. We have love, betrayals, good vs evil, plenty of relationship development, dragons and just a down right good read. I know we only have one book left in this series, so i don't know how i will feel about that. These characters and their struggles are becoming very addicting. Isola and the guys are fighting for the throne, not only trying to save the lives of the people of Dragca but one of their own. What will happen? Can they save everyone?
If you haven't read this series yet, i recommend reading them in order. Also try out any one of her other series, you will become a fan just like i did.

Omg I really don’t have the right words to describe this book except to say it was absolutely fantastic but that was one majorly brutal cliffhanger! Lol
So many twists and turns and there was so many surprises this time that I can not even grasp the right things to say about this story so I’m just going to stop.
And I’m going to say this and that is I highly recommend this book but if you haven’t read the books before it in this series then I suggest that you do because otherwise you will get really confused as to who’s who and what’s what.

This is both heartbreaking and so very touching! Isola and her guys are trying to save Dragca, but it seems like such a daunting task. When the princess's heart is pulled in so many different directions, it becomes difficult for her to fulfill her destiny. One of the best parts involved Queen Winter!! We got to see her save the day and it just gave me the girly squeals. This series just keeps surprising and entertaining! I seriously adore this author 💝 G. Bailey is full of wit and wisdom and it's a wonderful adventure whenever you open one of her books.

The ending!!! It’s not fair! I want more!! I don’t want to give away too much but don’t hurt my favorite! I love him! Gosh, of course it would have to be him..I will forever be mad if my favorite gets hurt. And Melody! I like her too!

The plot turns and I love it. The return to Earth was unexpected..and the people they met - more so! I want to know more about who Winter is, is it another series? Or will it be another series? I will need to read more from this author.

...I’m going to devour the next book!

Overall: 4.5/5

G. Bailey never disappoints.

This sequel broke my heart a few times but it's to be expected if you're building up to a spectacular finale. And G. Bailey is definitely cooking something special. :)

I love all her books but with this series I can related slightly more to the characters and the turmoil they all have to go through to get to their HEA.

I can't wait for the final book.

A definite MUST read at all cost or life on Earth might end.

Thank you G. Bailey.

Great read

Wings of fate was an exciting installment in the Protected by Dragons series. From a betrayal that lands her in a prison, to the heartbreaking information we learn about Elias as Isola faces Tatarina on the battlefield, this book holds you tightly in its grasp, only releasing you after you’re hit with a haunting cliffhanger! I’m eagerly awaiting the delivery of the next book to my kindle!!

This is an exciting addition to this series. G Bailey is a very talented author that really keeps the reader invested in her characters. It was heartbreaking to read Elias not with Isola in this book and to read what they had to go through. I did feel like this book dragged a bit but I feel like it sets the scene for the next book...a book that sounds exciting!! This is a highly recommended series!!

I am always so in awe over the connecting story lines between her different series. I love watching things come together, and seeing how things are connected. Wings of Fate brought back several old characters which I always enjoy seeing. I LOVED seeing Winter again. There are so many twists and turns that it kept me on the edge of my seat. This was yet another fabulous installment in the Protected By Dragons series. I loved every moment of it and cannot wait for the next book!

The book was good, not great, but good. It seems in the series a lot of problems come up but in some ways they seem the same. There is no actual telling and explaining of the dragons and their size and the “magic” used to shift. I was super excited for this series, still kind of excited to finish the series, but not as excited when I read the first book. It’s definitely still a good series, it’s sometimes the dialogue is a little stale and awkward. Still worth reading though!

Dragontastic

I absolutely loved this book and was so engaged in it, I read the whole book in one sitting. Isola is such a strong person and is constantly in the worse of the situations at every turn. I loved and was so excited to see a cross over of other characters from G Baileys other series. I cannot wait for the final book to see if Isola can save Dragca and her Mates

This was a great addition to the series; I really liked how it progressed Isola and her dragons' story. My heart in aching for Elias, and I'm dying to read the next book to find out what happens. Also, I was so surprised to see that there's a series crossover, and I was so stoked to see (read) some familiar faces (names)!
