***MISADVENTURES ARE STANDALONE ROMANCES THAT CAN BE READ IN ANY ORDER***

Jasmine Pritchett needs a job. A pathway to financial independence. When Transform, the local gym, initiates an expansion to offer fitness classes, she sees her opportunity. Armed with several instructor certifications and even more persistence, she finds herself interviewing for the job in front of two of the sexiest men she’s ever laid eyes on.

Maddox Gibson craves control. He’s been trying to regain his zest for life since being discharged from the army, and with the help of his best friend, Wilder Vaughn, he’s worked his way from rock bottom to find happiness as a successful gym co-owner.

Wilder lives life like his name implies—wildly—and without Maddox’s rigid temperament to keep him grounded, his lighthearted impulsiveness could very well get him into trouble.

When these two beefy best buds invite Jasmine into their friendship, sparks fly quickly, and Jasmine tries to convince them she can be so much more. To both of them.

Can Jaz, Mad, and Wild figure out how to navigate a polyamorous relationship without destroying their friendship…and their hearts?

Elizabeth Hayley is actually “Elizabeth” and “Hayley,” two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. They learned a ton about each other through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly. They live with their husbands and kids in a Philadelphia suburb. Thankfully, their children are still too young to read.

When I first saw the sign-up for this book I was like "Did someone say threesome? I am in!" I love threesome books. But this one felt more like "Jaz dates two guys in once and they dudes know about the other" situation. The book was slow at first and when the time came for the triad to act like, well, a triad the story was finished. The guys had a close relationship but never shared a woman before, so when Jaz suggested that both should date her, they were caught off guard and weren't on broad with her idea. Instead, they chose to date her separately. That was not the kind of threesome I had in mind. They guys were very reluctant about the whole concept and I don't feel like they gave it much thought. I have the impression that they are good for the present, but the future is uncertain for Jaz and the guys. In other words, I would have liked some depth to the story. This is the 3rd book Elizabeth Hayley has contributed to the Misadventures series and is my least favorite of theirs.

4.5 Star review of Misadventures In A Threesome by Elizabeth Hayley
Another fabulous addition to a series I am fast becoming addicted to. The variety of authors who are writing this series is amazing. Elizabeth Hanley is a new author to me and I will be checking out their other books as and when time permits.
This was a fun, quick, at time amusing, not to mention smoking hot read. Jasmine (Jaz) Pritchett is in need of a job and applies at Transform Gym. This is where she meets the co owners Wilder Vaughn and Maddox Gibson when they take a chance and hire her. This is when Jaz’s life becomes complicated as she slowly but surely begins to fall for both men.
Can Jaz convince both Wilder and Mad that they can make a relationship between the three of the work,or is one of the men, doomed to be alone?
Jaz,Wilder and Mad really work together and I really loved this story line. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and felt it was a great addition to the series.

I recieved this arc from Netgalley. I was so happy to get approved to read this one. I have been looking forward to it for months.
I did like Jazz she knew how to stand up for herself. The guys relationship was so good. They were great best friends who understood eachother like no other. Yes I was a bit disappointed by this one. Maybe the title made me so anxious. You hear threesome and you automatically think this will be a very steamy and maybe erotic book. Half way thru the story they still didn't have sex. It was cute and I did stay up to read it. I read it in one day. I did love how she mentioned the word misadventure in the book.

I was bored for most of the book

The book was pretty boring. The story was just ok, but with a threesome book I was hoping for more. More story, more spice...something.

Maddox and Wilder are bestie friends that own a gym together. When they decide its time to expand and with that comes hiring new people, they end up hiring Jasmine. Both find themselves attracted to Jaz but they maintain a professional distance, until one night when they crossed a line. Now Jaz is wanting more but the kicker is she wants more to include all three and not just two. Will the guys get on board with what Jaz is requesting?

So, to me this was a bit of a let down. For the most part of the book, it was more of an open relationship and not a threesome. That Jaz could date one or the other, have fun times with one or the other, but those relationships were separate and not a triad. Maybe that was the growth of the characters that they finally figured it out... I'm not sure. I just know that compared to what I have read before this was a first in the fact that the h was the one that suggested that type of relationship. This ended up being just an ok book, and I give it 3 stars.

I'll admit that I was a bit anxious going in to this Misadventure, as I had mixed feelings about the last Misadventure I read from this author duo. I'm happy to say that I did enjoy Misadventures in a Threesome more than Roommate. I appreciated that the book presented polyamory in a way that seems more grounded in real life than other menage romances that I've read - I can actually imagine the scenario between Mad, Wild, and Jaz happening IRL, where that is not necessarily the case in other books with this trope. I really liked all three characters, but I feel like we only skimmed the surface of who they were and their backgrounds and I would've enjoyed going a bit deeper. I also really liked that each guy developed a relationship with Jaz individually and the physical side of that was depicted in the book. I do wish we got more of the 3 of them together and I found that the ending was really abrupt. Beyond that, MA in a Threesome is a fun read, the audiobook is enjoyable, and I look forward to continuing with the series! I get super excited whenever a new one releases! 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Trinity of Desire

Maddox Gibson and Wilder Vaughan are best friends that co-own a very prosperous gym called Transform. Maddox is the male version of Yin to Wilder's Yang. Maddox is very regimented in how he lives his life, whereas Wilder is more of a "anything goes" type of guy.

Jasmine Pritchett is the fly in the ointment when she is interviewed for a job at their gym. She cannot believe her luck that she will actually be working for two hot panty melting men. The sexual attraction is immediate between all three. The roadblock is they all have a friendship together which is at risk if they go to the next level together.

Elizabeth Haley takes us through the ups and downs that Maddox, Wilder and Jasmine experience as they all have to dig deep to face their inner fears and limits together. This was a very hot and spicy Misadventure.

When Maddox and Wilder meet Jasmine Pritchett, they realize that life, as they knew it, will never be the same again.

Interviewing for a job at their gym, Jasmine realizes that she's about to get more than she bargained for when she first meets Maddox and Wilder. Two opposite men on the spectrum--one wild and free, the other, strict and hard to break.

And soon what neither of the three expected, becomes something they all can't live without---each other.

Another great hit in the Misadventures series!

Maddox Gibson
Wilder Vaughn
Jasmine Pritchett

Maddox and Wilder co-own Transform Gym together. Because they want to expand their business, they need to hire some new trainers. In walks Jasmine, looking for a new job in a new city. She has no real experience as a "trainer" at a gym, but applies anyway, and is hired, as the new yoga instructor.
There is an instant camaraderie between Jaz, Mad and Wild, that is unexplainable in the beginning. Maddox and Wilder already had a tight bond, but add, Jasmine to the mix, and it gets real interesting, especially when both Mad and Wild have feelings for Jaz. But Jaz has feelings for both men, and she doesn't want to choose, but the boys wouldn't go for the unconventional type relationship that she wants.
Misadventures in a Threesome was such a good book. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment in the misadventures series, and I'm sure you will too, just read it, you'll agree.
Elizabeth Haley really knows how to write a good book about men'age, therefore, I rate it 5 stars

Misadventures in a Threesome is the unique story of Jasmine Pritchett ,Maddox Gibson and Wilder Vaughn. Elizabeth Hayley treats readers to the struggles of a woman determined to make her way in the world, and the sexual chemistry that ignites between not one, but two drool-worthy males.

As a lover of ménage, this story was right up my alley, but more than just the physical is portrayed in this unique relationship; there is compromise, emotional baggage, passion and a whole lotta HOT!!!! I adored this story and highly recommend it for the fast-paced and easily devoured treasure that it is.

Elizabeth Hayley are new-to-me authors. They have caught my attention with this sexy but emotional story.

The story evolves around two very unique relationship. I wish there had been a Maddox (Mad) and Wilder (Wild) prequel. Their unique relationship brought me to tears. The authors touched on a very serious subject, while keeping the romance alive. In addition to Maddox and Wilder's unique friendship, a new relationship develops between Mad, Wild and Jasmine Pritchett.

Jasmine (Jaz) needs a job and finds herself applying at Transform. She doesn't have much experience but Maddox and Wilder can't help but hire her. The three form a close friendship that Jaz wants to develop into more. She's not afraid to ask for it! Now she has to convince Mad and Wild that three isn't too many for a romantic relationship.

The story is steamy and heartwarming. I love how the budding relationship formed. 4 Stars!

This book brought three completely different characters together. Maddox the stoic, serious, and always in control male. Wilder the limited controlled goofy risk taker. Jaz the free spirited, strong-willed, and dreamer. Jaz's connection with each guy is different but equally as strong. While Mad and Wild's strong friendship brings another dynamic to the equation. All three of some form of demons or hurt to over come in order to see where this new relationship can go. As they slowly explore it, each one shows a different side of themselves. But a relationship between two people is hard enough, make it a threesome and you have an even tougher journey. These three figure out what works for them and it makes for one heck of a burning hot story that you can't put down. Jaz has one mad and wild life to live now.

Remind me not to read a third book by these authors. The first half was slow and boring. The second half was clumsy, awkward and pornographic without the characters having any kind of personality. The grammar is so bad, these authors can’t decide which verb tense to use. The dialogue is extremely immature; the characters speak like virgin middle school students. I couldn’t even finish it—just quit on page 173.
When I think of “threesomes”, I don’t think of two guys getting hand jobs or blow jobs on alternate occasions as the girl dates them separately. The interaction between these 3 people isn’t the least bit romantic or passionate. The authors write about the characters without getting into their headspace except from the standpoint as the voyeur of the male characters watching the other two characters having sex. This story and its characters are very shallow.
I really expected more out of this story. There are much better menage stories out there. This isn’t one of them. If you want to read a good menage story, try ones by Maya Banks or Shayla Black. They, at least, write characters who have personality.

Fun, quick, and mostly realistic book about three people who never imagined being in a ployamours relationship. I was expecting more spice because it's MFM, but maybe that's not always a fair expectation. I liked that Jasmine, the FMC, was the one leading their relationships. This is nothing revolutionary or heart-wrenching, but that is not the point.

This is the second book I've read in the Misadventure series and would recommend for people looking for low-drama, low-angst, cheery, un-serious, and quick read romances.

Misadventures in a Threesome by Elizabeth Hayley was a steamy fun read with fair share of emotional drama. While it was not my favourite by the author, it was over all a good read. It is perfect if you are looking for a short, dirty ,sexy and quick read!

Wilder and Maddox have been best friends and companion in life forever. Wilder is younger than Maddox and have a cheery, flirty and carefree approach to life. But Maddox is more reserved, composed and serious about every little thing. They own a gym called Transform and Wilder is pushing for extension and adding new trainers for new fitness goals. And this is how they meet Jaz aka Jasmine, the yoga instructor. This no-nonsense, sassy and lovely woman soon becomes their close friend. But soon they feel the attraction running between them. Wilder wants Jaz. Maddox wants Jaz. But Jaz wants them both.

I loved both the male characters. They have different and contradictory personalities. Maddox is my favorite because I gravitate towards the brooding and intense guy. Their friendship is surprisingly the best part of the story. I love strong characters like Jaz who can match with two hunk of guys in physical strength and also in attitude. She is not a push over and can stand on her own. I love her independent and determined character who knows what she wants. What put me off a bit in the story is how Jaz almost pushed the guys into the sharing relationship. The natural flow was not there. And the true sharing comes at the very end while I would have loved to see more about the shared part. The hesitation and struggle of the guys were real. And I am really glad the author put tension, misunderstanding and mistakes appropriately before the ending.

I missed emotional connection with the characters. Though the sex scenes were scorching hot, I somehow didn't feel the bond between Jaz and the guys after she proposed the threesome. I actually loved reading about their friendly outings and I their individual dates more! But at the end it was a pretty great story to add to the Misadventures series.

Received ARC for honest review.

When best friends Maddox and Wilder decide it’s time to expand their gym, Transform, and hire on some additional trainers, they never could have predicted the changes coming their way. And, while Jasmine was only looking for a job and a way to be financially independent when she interviewed at Transform, she instead gained so much more.

As Jaz quickly finds her way into an easy going friendship with both Mad and Wild, their attraction grows and sparks begin flying in all kinds of directions. And, after a night out, when both men show their interest in wanting more that friendship with Jaz, can she convince them they can be happy in a polyamorous relationship while remaining best friends?

Misadventures in a Threesome was my first Elizabeth Hayley book and I really enjoyed it. I loved just how different each of the three characters were and how easily their personalities meshed together. Maddox lives for control and needs Wilder to help remind him to loosen up and love. Wilder needs Maddox to help keep him grounded and focused. And, Jasmine brings an element of love that neither realized they were missing.

I also really enjoyed how organic this book and relationship felt. Their friendship turning polyamorous seemed very natural and just seemed to happen. It wasn’t contrived or forced in any way and I really appreciated that as a reader. The author really took the time to let the storyline develop naturally, which added a lot of depth to these characters. I also liked that it didn’t go to an immediate HEA, as these characters had to struggle with themselves and each other deciding if a non-traditional relationship was worth the risk to them as friends, business owners and lovers.

Misadventures in a Threesome seemed a bit more serious than some of the other misadventure books I have read, but it was a really thoughtful and enjoyable read. 4 stars.

Alright, listen.

I have no personal experience with polyamory and no interest in it aside from one trashy fanfiction I wrote way back when. And I understand that polyamorous relationships look different for different couples. A girl dating two guys who are cool with her dating the other, and all three occasionally hang out and do other stuff is just as valid a relationship as three people sharing mutual romantic and sexual attraction with everyone involved. That being said, I think in the context of this story, the latter would have been a lot more interesting. It's so easy to read deeper into Maddox and Wilder's relationship that they could be in love with each other, even just a little bit. The sex was hot, yes

And as usual, with romance novels, I wish we'd gotten to know more about the characters. I liked Jaz's history, but what about the guys? It was missing details like this that made me feel I couldn't connect enough to the characters to be fully emotionally invested in their relationships. I understand why both are attracted to Jaz, and why Jaz is attracted to both of them. Calm, controlled Mad. Impulsive, and for lack of a better word, wild Wilder. It makes sense that she needs both aspects of personality for a satisfying relationship. But these characteristics were hammered in over and over that both men felt like they had no other traits about them.

I liked it. It was hot as hell. But for a polyamory book, I wanted more.

(might come back and add more later)

Maddox Gibson is one of those people that tries to get his clients in shape. Wilder Vaughn isn’t afraid to get dirty. These are two men who are both friends and co-owners. It was interesting to see how polar opposite they are. Jasmine Pritchett is putting her best foot forward to impress.

When these three are together be prepared to laugh. That is most evident when they go Mexican. It’s a great way to see how comfortable they can be around each other. Those moments are nice but there are plenty of steamy ones as well. I liked how the author makes this seem real by having the characters ask questions. I’m sure they are ones that anyone would ask given the circumstances. We also see the ups and downs that come in any relationship. What’s good about fiction is that anything is possible.

The author gave me the unexpected and that shows why I read and not write – I probably would have done the expected. What I love about this series is that it’s a great way to discover new authors or even reconnect with ones you haven’t read in a while. None of the books seem like ones you’ve read before. It’s also a great way to get to know their writing style – see if it’s one that you enjoy. Maybe it will give you incentive to see what else they have done. And I know I will be doing just that.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH NET GALLEY. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

I've read several of the Misadventures books previously, and part of their appeal is their brevity. Unfortunately, this book really suffered for that brevity!

I had a hard time connecting with the characters, so therefore, I had a hard time investing myself in the story. If I had to pick, I'd say I liked Jaz the best, but there was really not a lot of depth given on any of the characters, so I'd only say so reluctantly.

Their romance also felt rather false. Like another reviewer, I was expecting something way different from the title instead of the "1 girl dates two different guys and they all know about it and are ok with it" mess that we got in this book. I felt that the author "chickened out" and didn't go for the true threesome experience because they weren't sure how to write it authentically. There are a ton of better threesome books out there to inspire the trope! This book is not a good representation of the trope!

The redeeming factor from this book was that the writing was witty and humorous. Some of the situations were actually laugh out loud funny at a time where I desperately needed it. That alone brought the rating up for me, but overall, this was a bit of a disappointment.

••*** There are a few spoilers here, and there could be a short one.”•••

https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2019...

But anyways; I would like to point out this the first time I ever read a threesome even a four or more some... that one guy one **** the girl at once and not both a once like butt = clique.... like it usually would... whereas the other books everything happened in the beginning or middle it happen towards the ending. But whatever...

I thought this book was actually good; I wasn’t disappointed, but I kept thinking that Mad was in his forties for some reason... I liked how they “Wild and Mad” finally came together to love Jaz and give into the relationship, and her family was okay with it. Often when you are in a relationship with more than one person; people will look at it funny and wondering why in the world would someone want a relationship with more than one person. Even though people do orgies and three-foursome it’s sort of different people you are actually in a relationship with two people and not just doing it for s*x...

But I liked this book I was between rating it a 4 or a 5 star...

This was a fun read. Max and Wild are co-owners of Transform, a fitness center, and are expanding and hiring and their newest hire is intriguing and arousing to both of them. Jasmine doesn't necessarily have the most extensive resume but she has the determination to succeed and she has found her home at Transform and something special with both Max and Wild. Max is all about control, he needs it in his life to keep his inner demons at bay but Jaz comes into their life and suddenly both he and Wild are craving the same woman and conveniently Jaz wants both of them. They are firmly in the friendship zone until Max's birthday and dancing turns dirty and hands and kissing on the dance floor is involved. When Jaz turns up with donuts the next morning with a proposition to date both men, it takes a minute (or few) for the them to get on board but they finally settle into a dating schedule. How long can dating last until that is not enough? Make sure you read this one to the end! As with all the Misadventures, they are a hoot and highly recommended for a good time.

Misadventures in a Threesome

An interesting take on how a relationship with 3 people would play out, Elizabeth Hailey shows us that there is not one right way to do anything in this world! You do what works for your situation and what feels right to you and hope that the people who are In your life and love you, respect and honor your choice!! That being said, this book has Maddox, Wilder and Jasmine working together at a gym the boys co-own together. As they’re working together, Jaz realizes she’s starting to have feelings for both these men! Both men separately also realize they have feelings for Jaz!! What happens when all joking on the subject is set aside and things start to get serious?? This book was not what I was expecting at all and in all of He best ways!! I loved it!! Thank you ladies for surprising me with a book that was more than just what the title eludes to!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another incredible hit in the Misadventures series. I know I’ve said this before, but these books are FUN. They’re like moments in time (short stories almost) but thorough and well thought out. I hope these authors continue this trend for the foreseeable future. They are really great reads you can get lost in for a few hours and leave the grind of your daily life behind. And they always deliver! That’s the best part!

So, this story… it was sinfully good! The best part of this story is actually the getting to the poly-relationship. Feelings were running amok with these three and chemistry was sparking but sharing with each other wasn’t something that any of them had ever even thought about …. until they did …. BAM, sinfully good!

This is my third Misadventure with this writing duo and I am highly pleased! I cannot wait to see what they have in mind for Misadventures with a Twin!

Misadventures in a Threesome - Elizabeth Hayley

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another title in the ‘Misadventures Series’ and another excellent short read.

Jasmine is establishing herself in a new home and desperate to secure a job at Transform Gym. Her yoga qualifications might be her saving grace but will her heart be able to stand the onslaught of the two very sexy gym owners, Wilder and Maddox.

Wilder and Maddox come from two very different backgrounds but they share an unspoken bond and deep friendship an trust. Their equals in the business but when the gorgeous Jasmine begins her job at the gym, the guys know that their bond is going to be tested.

Serious heat and chemistry in this story and plenty of heart.
Really enjoyed this one.

Misadventures in a Threesome by Elizabeth Hayley was a book in the Misadventures series. The series was written by various authors with a steamy flare and can all be read in any order as a stand-a-lone.

I’ve taken a hiatus from formal reviews for awhile but a couple quick thoughts: I enjoyed all main characters (Mad, Wild, Jaz). They were quirky and fun. It was a slow burn so friendship first then lovers. Additionally, the men were best friends and had never shared a lover nor were they lovers. It was an introduction to a polyamorous relationship for them all and not in the traditional form. It wasn’t my favorite plot or polyamorous angle, but it was enjoyable none the less. This was my first book by Hayley and I look forward to more.

Where do I even begin with this book?
Woah..
For starters,
Holy crap, this was insanely HOT, seriously so damn HOT, like need a cold shower kind of HOT.. did I mention it was HOT? *Exhales loudly* I think I may need to go to church after reading this! *Smirky grin*

This plot focuses on three main characters, Maddox Gibson, Wilder Vaughan, and Jasmine Pritchett. Maddox and Wilder work together and co-own a gym and they couldn't be any more different from each other, complete opposites. Maddox likes to take control, he craves it, he needs, he's somewhat level headed out of the two males and Wilder is the goofball, the guy who loves a good laugh and good time, he loves taking risks and he's the type of person who would try just about anything. Basically, his name fits him perfectly. You wouldn't think the two would be friends, being the total opposite of each other, but for some reason, these two connect well together, they work well together and they bounce off each other's personality perfectly. then you add in Jasmine, She is strong-willed, independent, free-spirited, and easy going. She is in need of a job and when she finds the perfect position at Maddox and Wilders gym, she interviews for it. Once she's offered the job, Jasmine becomes a close and fast friends with the two best friends and before long sparks begin to fly and Jasmine wants both men, she makes that known and she explains she can offer them both something. They begin what is most certainly an insanely hot fling/relationship and it starts off fun, hot and something they all enjoy but will it stay this way? Will these three beable to continue a close friendship and polyamorous relationship without destroying their friendship and bond and most of all, their hearts? or have they made the biggest mistake they possibly could?

Yet again, another amazing book to add to the Misadventures series, this read was fun, easy flowing and kindle meltingly hot! I expected nothing less from Elizabeth Hayley. I really, REALLY enjoyed this read and highly recommend it!
