Hermione Granger returns to England after years away. Things have changed back home, but so has she; though Hermione doesn't know just how much. No one ever said change was easy and in her case, it is downright dangerous, but she wouldn't be alone. Not only do drastic changes affect Hermione's life and magic, but she will also end up bound for life to another.
I've read this years ago and remember how much I loved it, even if most of the finer plotlines had escaped my memory. It seemed like the right time for a re-read and I'm very happy I did!
The story is well thought out and very elaborate. I love the first two chapters, even though I know it's quite a stretch the guys wouldn't recognise her at all, especially after talking and having lunch with her and still not catching on. But the idea of it and the banter in those chapters is great and I laugh every time I read it. Most of the OC created by MissFantastic are really horrible people, they're dumb, stuck-up and vindictive, but they are well written and the situations they're a part of are mostly funny.
I can't help myself, I love a story where Hermione is this Goddess (literally in this one) who has it all: beauty, intelligence, friends and (an) amazing wizard(s). Which then mostly means there is a storyline about someone being jealous of that and trying (and failing) to ruin it for her.
I loved the lore and background involving Sorcery that was created for this story, it was very detailed.
OMG idk what I'm going to do. This was perfect and so thorough and freaking long. Like over 200k words long. and all of it is just straight up mushy mushy, butterfliesy, sweet cinnamon rollie love. Hermione and her Slytherin harem really is the best thing to read about.
All of the men. HOT.
THEOOOO AND MARCUS?? OMG DOM DADDIES.
ALL the men are bi. Draco and Adrian's relationship makes me want to flip tables. They are so damn hot.
Prodigal Witch is so good! It’s perfectly spicy with plenty of plot, and plot twists. The POVs make sense and retain some of the original voice. The characters are true to form. It’s 38 chapters with an epilogue and honestly I wish it had a sequel.
