I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Loved these men in the Bratva Blood Brothers series. Loved how devoted hero, Iosif was to heroine, Jaden after all she had gone through w/that despicable bully, Billy Jo Walker! I also love how the author brings back previous characters no matter how large or small they play in this suspenseful series!
So who will be next to get a book in this series?

This is a first from the author for me. I know it's currently the last in the series but it really caught my eye. I really enjoyed the story and liked Iosef. Jaden was pretty cool too. The editing needed work. Safe read, insta/lovish, no ow/om, h was virgin.

REVIEW: IOSIF is the seventh instalment in KJ Dahlen’s contemporary, adult BRATVA BLOOD BROTHERS romance series focusing on the members of the Russian Mob. This is thirty-five year old, Iosif Salizar Maxim, and twenty-two year old, Jaden Gibbons’ story line. JOSIF can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.
NOTE: IOSIF can also be found in the author’s Bratva Blood Brothers Anthology Collection.
SOME BACKGROUND: Five young boys and childhood friends (Yuri, Sazon, Barshan, Mikial and Roman) survived the mean-streets of Russia only to be rescued and reared by a local gym owner Ivan Russo, who would meet his death by a local gang. Seeking revenge against the gang, local Russian Bratva member and soon to be New York Russian mafia leader Nikoli Silvanic would mentor the five young men until they were ready to take on the world, with the approval of Russian Bratva leader Sergi Constantine. When the time came Nikoli Silvanic would take over the New York territory, while the five ‘blood brothers’ would take over New Orleans. These are their continuing stories.
Told from several third person perspectives including Iosif and Jaden IOSIF follows the building relationship and romance between thirty-five year old, Iosif Salizar Maxim, and twenty-two year old, Jaden Gibbons. Iosif Maxim, and his father, arrived in America to meet his older brother Roman’s new born sons but Iosif never expected to find his happily ever after in the guise of a broken and battered café waitress Jaden Gibbons. On the run, a bruised and beaten Jade, would find a protector and lover in our story line hero. What ensues is the quick building romance between Iosif and Jaden, and the potential fall-out as Jaden’s past is hoping to end her life.

Their birth father, Timor Maxim, is a member of the Bratva High Council in Russia, and as such Iosif has been groomed as one of his father’s heirs but Timor is desperate for the return of Roman, in the hopes of his eldest son taking over when the times comes. The $ex scenes are passionate and intimate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
Most of the previous story line heroes play secondary and supporting characters although many of the wives and significant others are absent or unaccounted for.
IOSIF is a spirited and animated story line. The premise is engaging and dramatic; the characters are animated and real; the romance is tender and seductive. On that note, I did struggle with the number of spelling and grammar errors, as well as the redundancy and repetition. This is nothing new for this particular author but I recommend another round or three of editing before offering up for sale.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the seventh book in the Bratva Blood Brothers series. In this book, Iosif and his father go to the US to meet Roman's new babies and Iosif decides to stay behind for a longer visit. Iosif takes Roman's car one day and goes exploring. He goes to a diner and sees Jaden, a waitress and is instantly smitten with her. When another man is harassing Jaden, Iosif tries to defend her and when Jaden gets fired, Iosif learns the man is Billy Jo, a wanna be criminal who has been bullying Jaden for years. Iosif wants to protect Jaden and when he goes back to her apartment to make sure she is safe, her apartment is trashed and they are attacked. Roman calls Iosif and Jaden tells him they need help before she passed out. Roman takes them to a safe house and Iosif claims Jaden and the Bratva vow to protect her and find out why Billy Jo is bullying her. It turns out things are a lot more complicated for Jaden as they learn more about her past and about her mother's murder when she was a small child. I really love this book, i love how protective the Bratva are with their family. I think Iosif and Jaden had an instant love with great chemistry. Great one.

Iosif: A Russian Mafia Romance by K.J. Dahlen is book 7 in the Bratva Bllod Brothers series. This book had drawn me in from the first page to the past. I did not want to put it down. This is the story of Iosif and Jaden. Iosif is the brother of Roman both of whom are members of the Bratva. Jaden's mother was murdered when she was 3. They meet when Iosif comes to visit his brother and stumbles upon the diner where Jaden works when he is out site seeing. There is an immediate attraction between them. Will Jaden's stalker killer? Will Iosif let his father talk him in to returning home? Will Jaden ever discover who she really is? Will they get their HEA or will their pasts come between them? This read was an emotional rollercoaster ride and I loved every minute of it. This books has highs and lows, suspense, romance. I definitely recommend this book and cant wait until the next book by K.J. Dahlen.

Another amazing book in the Bratva series
Like the rest of the series, K.J. Dahlen has managed to write another storyline that had me grabbing tissues, laughing, angry an loving the sarcastic one liners she has thrown through out the whole series. It says you can read them in any order, but I highly recommend that you read them in the order they were written. They flow so well that way. What each book has in it, no worries, no spoilers, is love, compassion, understanding, acceptance an respect. They all talk about seeing those who think the are invisible and making them feel like they are important instead of feeling like a nobody. I hope there is more storylines coming soon. Nikoli was a tease. Please K.J.Dahlen, finish his story. It would be interesting to see where things go with him. Iosif story was another story I was unable to put down. Thank You K.J. Dahlen for such an amazing series.

Now comes the story of Iosif, Roman's little brother who was found as an abandoned toddler and saved by their father and lived a completely different life-style, one of luxury and prominence as the son of Khazakhstan's Bratva boss. When Iosif comes with his father to visit his new-found older brother, he finds the 2 years his brother cared for him as a baby have bonded him more closely to Roman than the father who has groomed him to take his spot on the Central Council of the Russian Bratva led by Sergi. During the first day of his one week extended stay with Roman, he falls in insta-love with a young waitress who is being bullied by another table. You have to read to find out why Jaden turns out so perfect for Iosif Vlad Salazar and how she is related to Sergi! A really fantastic read!

I cant get enough of KJ Dahlen's Bratva Blood Brothers series. I hope there is more. Iosef finally found his brother Roman in America but their father was stubborn and single minded. He felt Roman and Iosef belong with him back home. He had a lot to learn about Roman and now Iosef is pulling away. He wants a relationship with his brother and also feels a little lost. He didnt expect to find his soulmate in a diner being bullied by a spineless piece of scum. Jaden has lived a horrible life that has only been made worse by the bearings she receives from her bully Billyjo. When Iosef steps up and protects her its a sign of fate and he will do everything he can to protect her. I love how these Bratva Brothers find their women and fall hard and fast. They are sexy protective. I loved this book. Read with KU.

WOW!! Awesome contemporary mafia romance. Iosif came to America to meet his long lost older brother. Once he met Roman he felt at home with him and Romans blood brothers. Iosif was found as a toddler and raised in the Brativa, Russian mafia. While visiting he meets Jaden who is down on her luck and is beaten frequently by a thug. When they meet they feel a connection. Yes, as a mafia romance there is violence. It's the world they all live in but many surprises are ahead for Jaden. The author draws the reader from the first to the last page. Many of the secondary characters are from previous books. There is lots of suspense. It can be read as a stand-alone with a HEA. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

I have read many books by this author but this is the first I've read of the Bratva Blood Brothers series. I've mainly read the MC series books by this author. It seems, whether it's MC or Russian Mafia, this author has a knack for writing about alpha men who love strong and do what it takes to protect their own. Iosif and Jaden's story pulled me in from the very beginning and I could not put it down. The chemistry between these two was undeniable. There was drama, danger, suspense, twists, and steamy sex. I would definitely recommend reading this one. As for me, I will definitely be going back and reading the rest of the books in this series, as well as others by this author I have yet to read.

Iosif is Roman's little brother. He was abandoned as a toddler, but unlike Roman, he was found and raised by their father. Even while growing up in the lap of luxury, he always felt like a part of him was missing. When he finally meets Roman, he remembers the years his brother took care of him, and he feels a stronger bond with Roman than his father. While in America visiting Roman, Iosif meets a beautiful waitress named Jaden, and the story that follows if filled with danger, lies, secrets, and eventually love.
What a great series! I swear each book is better than the last! I really enjoyed discovering that Iosif and Jaden were linked in ways that made them even more perfect for another!

Great book
What can I say, this book was fantastic, I loved the characters and their story. As with all the author's books they pull you in and keep your interest right from the start. This was a cover to cover non-stop read for me,I couldn't put it down. Russian mafia, psychotic madmen, a strong young woman who needs a little help, a man drawn to her, plenty of twists and turns and a little intrigue, romance, long lost relatives, found brothers united this book has it all and so much more. I can't wait to read more from this series, I'm excited to see what the author has in store for us next, because I'm sure she's not done yet. If you haven't read the rest of this series, you'll want to purchase it because once you start you can't read just one.

I absolutely love this series from K.J. Dahlen. The Bratva Brothers are a bunch not to take lightly or hurt anyone they care about. I'm glad that Roman's brother Iosif got his own story after they were reunited. Jaden has been through a rough childhood and adulthood so far. Having to run for her life and always being found. Wait till you find out who Billy Jo really is and why he's been hurting her. I loved how Iosif and Jaden had an instant connection and finally found their missing piece. There is so much going on within this book as well as the series and I recommend these books. They are such quick, well written reads that keep your attention from the first page. Love, Loyalty, Suspense, Action and so much more all wrapped up in one book.

Another fantastic book in this series. With each one we start to earn a little bit more about each person and the families that they have and have made since. In this one we meet Iosif, a great guy just trying to figure out his place in life and within the bratva. Jaden is a woman 2ho never knew her family or what they might of done. Her father killed her mother and tried killing her as well. 20 years later love happens and a promise of life ,love and happiness changes her future. I can't wait to see what the next book brings. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy

This is another fantastic story from this talented author. This Bratva series is my all time favourite. Iosif is Roman’s long lost brother, and while visiting his brother he is drawn to a waitress, Jaden. Jaden has been on the run for a long time from a psycho, and when he finds her yet again, she is rescued by the Bratva. This is a well written flawless story, which is filled with twists, drama, suspense, romance, and is an all round engaging page turner. I was totally captivated throughout, and cannot wait to read more from this exceedingly talented author, and I highly recommend her work for all readers!

The Bratva Blood Brothers is such an excellent Series and Iosif is no exception. It has suspense, sense of family and loving hard like the other books.
This was an easy read very enjoyable. I highly recommend this book.
Iosif was restless once he returned home from the States he wanted to be with his brother Roman in New Orleans and that was what he did.
Jaden has been followed and tortured the last few years by a low - life this time though a handsome Russian comes to her aid will the be able to get an HEA since there was electricity when they first touched?
Would Iosif be my book boyfriend?

Have read all books in this series so far and looking forward to the others....I like a lot of action and drama mixed in with my romance books and this author does not disappoint. Iosif is the younger brother of Roman, only recently reunited, after they were abandoned by their mother at 2 and 6 years old. Iosif had begun to feel restless in Russia and wanted to be closer to Roman so they can again become close. Upon visiting Roman and his family, he decides to extend his stay in America and one day he meets Jaden, who is in desperate need of his help even though she does not know this yet. This series is full of loyal strong men and women, no cheating, lots of drama and always a HEA.

The Bratva Blood Brothers' stories just keeps getting better and better. Sparks ignited with Iosif's first glance of Jaden, as she is being bullied by some thugs. With Iosif's connections with the Bratva, Jaden comes under their protection, as the author weaves a complicated story that untangles into a HEA for Iosif and Jaden. It is an emotional instant love story filled with fast paced action and drama, with twists that reveals some interesting facts and surprises for many in the Bratva. Thank you to K.J. Dahlen for gifting me "Iosif". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.5 Stars!

Wow! I love this series and Iosif could be one of my favorites! Iosif is happy he found his brother, Roman, but is is restless and unhappy at home. under his fathers thumb. On a trip to see Roman he finds what has been missing in his life. He not only realizes he wants a life in America with Roman but he finds his soul mate in Jaden, she just doesn't know it yet! This is a great story line filled with danger, mystery, honor and yet is a sweet steamy love story with a twist you won't see coming!

I am really enjoying this series. This book is about Iosif and is Roman actual brother. Iosif had decided he wants to stay in New Orleans and not go back with his dad Timor to kakistan. Iosif meets Jayden in a diner and helps her out of as bit of bother from a man called Billy Jo. Iosif then helps her along with the Bratva and their relationship blooms, they have many twists in this story and truths that come out but manage to get their inn the end. I voluntarily read and reviewed a advanced copy arc.

All of the books in this series are full of action and although these men are Russian mobsters they have a strict code of honour and they all take care of their own. Their women are loved and treasured and are protected even at the risk of their own lives. This is another really good book in this series and I would highly recommend this series.

I was thrilled to get Romans brother story. Iosif may appear on paper as the lucky brother but reconnecting with Roman fills a hole in his heart. Jaden also fills a hole in his soul.
I love this series and again was not disappointed.
This book has its own mystery surrounding Jaden and some questions aren't answered until the end.
The Bratva is not a group to mess with the men in the group are all strong alphas with a strong code of honor.
Can't wait for the next book.

Iosif knows that something is missing, but doesn't know what. Jaden has holes in her part and is now running for her life. Fate has other plans. Will Iosif be able to keep her safe? Will Jaden get the answers she seeks towards her past?
Loved how gentle this tough mobster was! I loved Iosif's determination to keep her and stand up for them when it came to his father. I loved how Jaden had gotten back up and continued to try to live despite what life had thrown at her. Great read!

This book is fantastic! This family is protective and honorable, but when they find their match, it’s an immediate ignition that blows their protectiveness into hyperdrive. Iosif has found his home with his brother and his friends, but when he finds his partner in life, he’ll stop at nothing to ensure her safety. I cannot wait to see what’s next! I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Iosif is the 7th book in the Bratva series. It is the dramatic love story between Iosif and Jaden. When Iosif comes to defend Jaden from a bully while she is at work, their exciting, dangerous and intense story begins. This is an exciting installment to this series. Dahlen brings back other characters from previous books, thus growing this amazing series. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Very well written with nice story line and plot. A mafia romance that is enjoyable and sweet. It is different and that makes it better. I just love these Bratva guys.
A story of a nice length. Likeable well described characters that develops through the story. Amazing chemistry and passion. I like the unexpected twists and turns. Captivating and enjoyable read. Steamy scenes that are realistic and hot. The mix of drama, secrets, passion and twists makes it a great read.

Okay... So this is my first K.J. Dahlen book AND I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!! Will definitely go and start from the beginning. Russian mafia is my favorite and I was not disappointed. Love me some hot, dominant alpha Russians that have a tendency to be a little psychotic! Losif's story definitely put my emtions on a roller coaster. So much suspence, couldn't wait to turn the page. The ending was amazingly perfect! Must Read! Recommend starting from book 1!

I did not think that this series could get any better, but to my surprise is did! This has to be at the top of my favorite list. I love all the brother's stories but this one truly captured my heart and I certainly can not not wait for the next one. Thank you KJ Dahlen, you truly are a talented writer. I look forward to your next book I love them all!!
