Part 2: Me, the animal takes control
Exiled from China and hunted by the triads, Tomas has hidden himself in the US. Soon he began to question the loyalty of his new found ally and friend Mike, that was insisting on his good intentions. At first, Mike wanted to create the perfect opportunity for Tomas to combat back the triads. But later he changed his mind, suggesting that Tomas should rather run. All of this, based on information from a source, that he is not at liberty to reveal. But Tomas was determined to stay and fight, should he even hope for the triads to ever let him be. However, after losing his trust in Mike, he had finally broken and chooses to run instead. It was too late...

This book is part 2 of 4 series. Fan work dedicated as a tribute to the Linkin Park music band life's work to date, of which the author's inspiration had come from. This book includes references to the songs, that should be played in the background while reading it, for enhanced experience. Note: This book doesn't contain any of the songs referenced in itself, and its purely optional for the reader to gain access to those songs at his own expense. As use of those songs is experimental, it doesn't guarantee improved experience compared to 'just' reading of this book.

This book is part 2 of 4 series by the author Tomas Cudzis who is a big fan of Linkin Park and suggested to listen to songs listed on the books, and I honestly think It made the reading more relatable and enjoyable.
Tomas had an old friend and an ally named who always looked after him and wanted what’s the best for him, by then due to some circumstances he stated to question his loyalty and felt betrayed by a close friend thinking he was working for the enemy.
As he left China, Tomas felt heartbroken and in so much pain, he decided to go to the USA.
Later on, he found out that Mike couldn’t reveal the full truth to Tomas because it could endanger both of them, and instead he decided to tell him to escape the triads.
I like the writing style; it's clean and well-edited. The dialogue comes through realistically.
Loved the continuation and the new bits of the story cropping up. It is a truly compelling story set in a fascinating world, with phenomenal and lovable and deranged characters.
This is the second book I’ve read of the same author and I can’t wait to read to next one.

The storyline continues to become all the more intriguing. I already read part 1 which got me yearning for this second part. As in the previous one, I am loving the soundtrack references. It won’t cost you much to get them. I feel like the whole plot for this story would be relatable to each of us whether symbolically or literally. The ups and downs of life reflect clearly in this book. I see the embodiment of the current state of affairs in many communities today where money does the talk in place of justice. Some of the outstanding themes are friendship, loyalty and trust, all of which we see through the main character’s lens. I love how this book gets me drifting from reality into a whole other world.

No doubt, best lines ever, from dark to light you’ll enjoy this story, it gets very interesting from start to end, and every page motivates you to keep reading, with no time to rest, and every time you read, you’ll get into the same conclusion: No rest for the wicked.
Love the description of action scenes, may be grotesque, but you can figure them easily. Can't wait to read PART 3.

All I have to say is: I never figured out the ending, no way I could have done it, but it was worth it.
There are some several lines that include sensitive content, so... make sure you're not eating while reading, I did puke in some gross scenes, so... Not for delicate one's like me while eating.
Anyone reading this... I recommend this book with my eyes closed.

I feel identified with the character (without the need of trying to kill any foe), the music and the lines make a perfect mix, the sensation and the action scenes makes it perfect.
It’s worth every single cent and second invested in it.

In this story, the guy has square balls of steel... Man... This is a lot of action and a good plot to read... I can't spoil too much, I'm satisfied with everything I've read in this book.
Thumbs up for this book, and highly recommended to anyone who's thinking of reading it.
