How’d I meet her?
Well, a gentleman never brags.
Thankfully, I’m no gentleman.
First, I paid for her cherry (pie, but that’s not the point),
Next, I deflowered her.
After that? I left my business card and walked out like I owned the place.
Yeah, you could say we hit it off.

Hailey

How did I meet William?
He walked into my bakery, bought a cherry pie, stole a vase of flowers—I still have no idea what he wanted with them—and left his business card.

Before I say what I did with the business card, I should clarify
William couldn’t have walked into my life at a worse time.
My bakery was failing.
My creepy ex refused to leave me alone.
Oh, and I was a twenty-five-year-old virgin, a fact my friends refused to stop hassling me about.

Fixing my little virginity problem with William would be like swatting a fly with a hammer. Overkill, but the best kind.

William was stupid hot, the kind of hot that makes women do stupid things. The kind of hot that made me think crazy things. Like thinking the fly wouldn’t even mind getting hammered by William and his washboard abs. That makes two of us.

So I called him.

Maybe it was against my better judgment. Maybe I was stepping into a disaster waiting to happen.

I knew I was in trouble when he chuckled in that deep, sexy voice of his over the phone and said, “I’m still craving your cherry. Do you deliver?”

USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Amazon Charts Bestselling author Penelope Bloom is taking her first flight into romantasy—and yes, there are dragons. After years of contemporary romance, she's temporarily trading meet-cutes for magical academies and coffee shops for castles that reek of blood. She promises the banter is just as sharp, but now it comes with deadly consequences.

Fun fact: “Penelope Bloom” started as a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the family dog, Penelope—never meant to be anything serious. But then the books took off, and the name stuck. Behind the scenes, Penelope Bloom is actually a husband-and-wife team. He handles the writing; she edits, helps with brainstorming, and runs the reader-facing side of things (like social media and messages). So if you’ve chatted with “Penelope” online, you’ve likely been talking to her—with the author chiming in whenever needed. Together, they’ve built the voice readers know and love.

I laughed and laughed and laughed, wheezing and holding my tummy because it hurt so much from guffawing so hard!

(Oie! Get your mind out of the gutter: that's a banana! Well, at least he brought snacks!)

I will never be able to look at whipped cream again without falling off my chair with hysterical laughter. And don't get me started on the cherry pies - and the cherry pie football!!! I have to stop typing now because I've got to hold onto my sides again, just remembering those scenes!

From beginning to end, I must have laughed more than I breathed while I read this uproariously funny romantic comedy. I loved William! I am not going to tell you the story. Read it for yourself!
I think it's still on sale for 99 cents - buy it! I first started reading it on my Kindle Unlimited plan, but decided to buy my own copy anyway, it was that good!
By the way, for those of you who dislike graphic bedroom antic descriptions, this one will be perfect. This story concentrated on the development of the relationship and all the hilarious hijinks in between. Every time I see this title come up on the Notification feed, I start to laugh just at the memory of it. If you need a good laugh, check this one out: harmless fun with a bit of raunchy on the side!

Se preguntarán, Por qué llevo autosabotiándome leyendo libros tan malos... Sometimes I'm SOOO weird.

Having had a lot of fun reading His Banana a few years back it now felt like the right time to continue on in the series. Her Cherry is book two and focuses on William, Bruce's twin brother.

Hailey has her own bakery and when William stops by one day the purchase of a cherry pie is the start of a blossoming relationship.

These books are short and silly and while they aren't going to win any literary awards they are fun reads between heavier books.

At time of positing this series is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Four stars.

Okay, I love William. I liked him in the first book but now I am in love with him.

Her Cherry is about William finally meeting the one. Enter Hailey, who is a struggling baker that doesn't have time for a love life. She is struggling to make ends meet and to get rent in on time. Then the day that William walks into her bakery for a bagel and ends up buying her cherry... pie as well. They were definitely a cute couple and I enjoyed all the laughs that came with it.

These two had such great chemistry. They bantered really well together and definitely found a way into each other's heart rather quickly. The one thing that stuck out to me though were his parents. Now we sort of got a glimpse or two about them in the first book because Bruce doesn't really have a relationship with them. Then you see that William sort of has one but it's mostly just giving them money whenever they wanted it.

Back to the parents, I think they definitely stepped out of line in this one and I was intrigued to see if they would make another appearance towards the end of the book or even in book 3 - they didn't but ya never know when it'll happen. I'm sure they aren't happy with their sons wives.

Other than all of that, I enjoyed this book and I'm definitely falling in love with this series.

I simply adored Hailey and the fact that she is a virgin and the crap her sister and her friend Ryan out her through. Then William walks in and buys her cherry pie.I thought the first book his banana was funny . This book Her cherry is just as funny. Wait till you meet Haileys grandmother. That's a treat.

I liked “His Banana” so much that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one too, however, while the humor is all there, the Hero, William (brother of the first Hero), unfortunately annoyed me!

William is a hero who plays games with women, is a Manho and steals things! Because he is an entitled prick, he thinks he can get away with it. This entitlement BS and his kleptomaniac/juvenile behavior turned me off big time that I could not finish after 30% in.

I know there is another book coming out, but I think I’ll pass because I don’t think it will be as good as the first one.

* Three stars for the humor and awesome Granny!!!

No bueno. The first one has some major issues, but it did occasionally hit the mark with humor and chemistry between the leads, but this one is chock full of nothing. The laughs aren't there and what is left is pretty DOA. The "hero" is a kleptomaniac for laughs, the heroine is a stereotypical virginal cipher who doesn't make much of an impression, other than as a doormat to the hero's whims, and the way the story wraps up felt very random and pointless. I'm a fan of screwball comedy, but there does need to be some structure to the plot or it falls apart, like this one did.

I think I'm done with the series. It's a shame because I did see potential with the first book, but this just isn't my cuppa.

I think this was ever funnier than her previous book in the series. I was crying from laughing so hard at one point. There are corny lines, horrible (read as hilarious) innuendos, and a perfect smut to plot ratio.

3,5/5*
Dějově velmi jednoduchá a svižná knížka, u které si zaručeně odpočinete a dost možná se i nahlas zasmějete.
Sedlo mi to víc, než Jeho bánán, především asi díky větší míře humoru, postavám a možná i samotému ději, který mě zkrátka více bavil.

This series is just too funny to me. It is full of sexual innuendo and sexual tension, lots of "foreplay" between the MC's William and Hailey. She is a baker and he is a millionaire and CEO of Galleon Enterprises. He's known as a player and he has never really had a serious relationship since his one sole purpose for women has been for his pleasure only. But when he meets Hailey she is different and tells him like it is.

William has a little brother (by less than 2 seconds) named Bruce, and they are identical twins. Bruce and William are opposites in most ways. The brotherly bantering and rivalry is not overly done so I liked that part of their relationship.

William decides to do something for Hailey to help her out with her bakery business, but things kind of go awry when each other thinks something wrong of the other person...jumping to conclusions, which puts a damper in things.

So I LOVED His Banana and was excited to see Her Cherry come out. I didn't know that it had to do with the other brother. I was even more excited when I was reading.

William is the fun-loving take no prisoners kind of guy. He goes through women like his underwear and you can't expect much from him. At least on the surface. But once you start reading and getting into the book you find a whole other side of him.

Hailey is a baker and she is having a financially hard time. She has some great friends (loved them) and when William walks into her life she really has no idea how to handle him. She is his total opposite. It is she who is what is good for him.

I laughed, rolled my eyes, and just generally loved this story! Can't wait for more from Penelope!

No, no pensaba cambiar. Me gustaba robar cosas.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a fast paced, laugh out loud RomCom. I loved William and Hailey, both had a quick wit and every scene they had together made me laugh out loud. William had no filter and he was upfront about it, and yet Hailey still accepted him as he was. She even learned to be more like him as the book went on. I will reading more from this author. I know not everything she has written is like this, but her writing is flawless.

Ho faticato a leggerla e a finirla. Caotica, sconclusionata, a tratti assurda e in alcuni punti addirittura squallida (a pag.

I did a dumb thing, y’all. I read this book, which is a follow-up to a book I thought was just a smidge above “meh” on my rating scale. So, I guess I got what I deserved when this book turned out to be a smidge below “meh” on my rating scale. Sigh.

Much like it’s predecesor, you’ll have to overlook a few things if you want to enjoy this book:

1. There are many, many childish, nudge-nudge-wink-wink “cherry” innuendos. Many, many, many…

2. William is a kleptomaniac. It’s played up for laughs, but in truth, this is an actual psychological disorder that isn’t terribly funny. I think it was supposed to make William cute and endearing, but it actually just made him kind of...sick and weird and in need of help. Don’t even get me started on his trophy room. That’s really only a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from digging a pit in your basement and keeping kidnapped women in it. Buffalo Bill had a trophy room. Remember?

3. The heroine, Hailey, is a virgin. Sigh. Again?

4. Why is it that the friends and family of virgin romance heroines are so interested in helping said virgin lose her virginity? Even when the virgin has no real interest in doing so? I’d be pretty pissed if I was a virgin and my friends told complete strangers that I was a virgin, ripe for the taking.

5. The first time Hailey shows up at William’s house for a job, William does something stupid and silly and immature that would get him sued in the real world. Again, I think it was supposed to be cute, but...it really wasn’t.

6. At one point, William finds a stray puppy and is perfectly willing to leave it in the street to fend for itself until Hailey forces him to keep it. A REAL romance hero would’ve taken that puppy in willingly and treated it like a little princess.

7. I’m pretty sure sex in a lifeboat wouldn’t work out well. It’s logistically super complicated.

8. I kind of hate William’s parents and wanted them to karmically get what was coming to them. They didn’t. I was bummed.

And if you can overlook all that, maybe you’ll love this book. That’d probably make you a better reader than me, and I can live with that. There’s no reason for all of us to be miserable, after all.

Oh, double entrendre, how I love thee! Let me count the ways. He takes her cherry and deflowers her without a proper introduction. Yep. That totally happened! 😂 Hailey and William are quite the pair. They get into too much mischief to keep up with and have to deal with misunderstandings and meddling exes and parents. I enjoy the humor, which is sometimes crude. I also really like the dynamics. He may be richer than he cares but she couldn't care less about that. She's a klutz, naive, and ever hopeful that things will work out. You do not need to read book 1 in this series to enjoy this one even though those characters make multiple appearances in this book.

The narrators, CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese, do a good job of keeping things light and fun.
