Seth was thrilled when his brother found not just one mate but two. And he’s genuinely happy for Nathan and Dodge. But his loneliness is taking a toll. Seth wants to find a mate of his own. He doesn’t think he’s met his mate yet but the urges inside him are getting stronger and stronger. And one thing is clear. He’s desperate for an Alpha’s touch.
For readers 18+ who enjoy knotty fun in a nonshifter omegaverse.
I just didn’t care much for this book. I never really warmed to Seth or Zack. The whole bit about the house seemed contrived. Zack seemed so weak for an alpha and Seth kept running away. I don’t really care for MMM books so I skipped book five and will have to skip book 7.
To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit.):
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth Kann ing, 'Save that he kids' series from EM Leya or 'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, but not really an often reread book
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Bk 6. Seth Omega and Zach Alpha. A great read. Was enjoyable to read. Seth comes upon a delightful smell and a pull towards an unknown Alpha on the way home to Omega House. Next day he needs to deliver a misdelivered parcel and it just happens to be the house of the delicious smelling Alpha. Zach has just gotten out from under his mothers controlling ways and is moving in when a smell hits and pull that he has never known before. A omega is standing across the road watching but he is undecided if he really wants to get involved with a omega just yet.
I disagree with the other reviewer that this was a cliff hanger. You definitely get an HEA. However I do agree that the story was paced well until Seth finds out he’s pregnant. After that the end comes quickly without a satisfying explanation for the “haunting” or Zach’s mother.
I really liked this one. I enjoyed how Zach and Seth were a bit confused about their instant connection. It felt more real... well, as realistic as an alpha-omega-mpreg story can be, I guess. And, as much as I enjoyed it, I did feel like I was left hanging a bit with the haunted house situation and the mysterious numbers. Still, it was a short, fun read.
Cute little romance with a paranormal twist, but hey author: what the heck is up with the numbers? You don't put something like that in there and then leave the reader hanging! Remember Chekhov's Gun! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chekh...
I started this book with great enthusiasm, I fell in love with the idea of a strong and determined Omega paired with a more shy and even lost Alpha. And at first it was going well but I lacked plot. I was expecting a confrontation between mother and son. I wanted to read more about Seth's pregnancy. The end felt rushed. A shame because these characters gave for more.
