"The Pursuit" by Aja and Roy Glenn

My Thoughts.....

What a beautiful story of Stacy Williams and Quentin Edwards of how they met and taking slow steps to finally getting to that 'I do' part. I enjoyed how these authors were able to give the reader a read that showed just what each one was thinking having both been caught up in the romantic game with one being a player and the other not wanting to be hurt again by it. So, what will happen as they both 'guard their heart while enjoying the game?' Well, you will have to pick up "The Pursuit" to find out. All that is left to say is that was a beautiful ending!

So Entertaining!

The story was entertaining and vintage writing for this duo. I believed this couple. Their relationship was easy to see, feel and certainly enjoy. I concur with Stacy, and the ladies shoe fetish...The loving relationship between friends was another nice feeling to the story.... Nice....5 Stars!

Stacy is a young woman who has struggled in life. She is missing her friend Maya who has found the man of her dreams and moved from Charlotte. Stacy has finally gotten a great job but her "appetite" for shoes has gotten her in a pickle. One day as she is "indoor " window shopping , a vision of sexiness walk in to bring back some of the sexiest shoes she has ever seen. She knows he must have purchased them for his lady, but she starts a conversation.
Quentin spies the legs of the sexy temptress and likes the banter that they start. He asks for her number and thinks she is a flavor he thinks he might like.

Quentin calls her and she puts him off. He pursues her for he is a hunter. He wants to figure out her game. However, he finds he likes her banter and just the woman she is. He realizes she reminds him of several woman who hold key places in his life. So the hunt begins and her realizes that she is something and someone he has never encountered before.

Great story of two who have been players in the game of love that have finally met their match. Watch the process they go through to discover that it is really their turn for love..

I love these two authors and they woven a story with much to laugh at and much to celebrate in Black love...Great Read..

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, to the point that at its end, I did a big sigh (with tears of joy). It was an incredible journey of two playas, Stacy Williams and Quentin Edwards. They were each determined to guard their heart while enjoying the game. But when you meet "the one", it no longer becomes a game, but a romance and a HEA relationship. Personal and relationship growth on full display, and I enjoyed it all. Co-authors Aja and Roy Glenn did an incredible job.

Stacy and Quentin’s pursuit of love, romance, and relationship was a beautiful journey. I loved the “realness” of the story as the couple took their time and made sure that what they were experiencing together was the real thing. I could certainly relate to Stacy’s love of shoes that made me laugh out loud. This book is now my favorite in the Unexpected Series. Kudos to Aja and Roy for a well-written story. I highly recommend it!
