Single omegin Brogan Dale is jealous of the loving, stable relationships his omega friends have with their alpha mates. For years, he’s longed to find his own bondmate and create a family, but that hasn’t been in the cards. Just when he’s determined to take the first alpha who’ll provide for himself and his young son Peyton, Brogan scents him across a crowded coffee shop. Too bad his bondmate is the unstable alpha who nearly killed Brogan’s best friend last year.
Mikel Tovey is taking it one day at a time, adjusting to life on his own, away from the oppression and abuse of his cruel sire. All he wants is to complete his probation, make sure his omegin and brothers are safe, and find a way to live with all the mistakes he’s made. When he scents his omega bondmate, Mikel is initially terrified of the older omegin and his adorable toddler. But Brogan is handsome, kind, and Mikel is completely enamored of little Peyton.
With his bondmate in his sights, Brogan does everything in his power to prove Mikel can be a good alpha, a good mate, and a fantastic father to Peyton. But when Brogan’s past comes roaring into his present and puts Peyton’s future at risk, Mikel’s resolve is shaken. He wants to love and support his omega during this crisis, but he doesn’t know how. With Brogan surrounded by friends and chosen family who love him, he doesn’t need Mikel’s insecurities weighing him down, too—but Brogan has found his mate, and he isn’t letting Mikel walk away without a fight.
This time, Brogan has too much to lose…
NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law—although times are changing for the better. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. This series is best read in numerical order.
No stranger to the writing world, A.M. Arthur has been creating stories in her head since she was a child and scribbling them down nearly as long. She credits an early fascination with male friendships (bromance wasn't a thing yet) with her later discovery of and subsequent affair with m/m romance stories. Given to me by a generous elf during the holidays.
I still love this series, with the A/B/O non-shifter universe the author has created, and how all the books, while featuring different main couples, tie together. I love the strong chosen family these abused Omegas have created for themselves, with their alpha mates, and how they all stand by each other. Each book in the series furthers the overall story, but focuses on the mating of a different couple. In this book, we get to see Brogan, an Omega with a son, find his mate in Mikel, who featured in a negative way in a previous book, find each other as bondmates and create an amazing relationship through honesty and communication. At the same time, the overall plot continues, and we find out more about the alphaholes behind the fight ring, and see one more get his comeuppance.
The next book in this series, also gifted to me, is already locked and loaded on my iPad.
This is not a standalone, and this series should be read in order.
I love A.M. Arthur but this one just seemed really long and drawn out. What I enjoyed was all the previous characters and reading their continued stories.
I received a copy of this title to read and review for Wicked Reads
2 Stars.
I need to preface this review by stating I've handed out very few 2-star ratings in the past decade. I rate books by others in their genre that I've read and rated, not all books I've read across the board. If I five-star a novel in MM romance, it's not the equivalent to a 5-star in Fantasy. I don't balance genres against one another. I won't lie, I was tempted to rate this 3 stars to save hurt feelings, but against other 3-star books I've rated in this genre, I didn't feel that was fair. This novel is rated against the others in its own series.
No, I don't believe this could be read as a standalone, simply because a new reader would have to skim 75% of the novel, maybe more, to find the plot beneath, due to the fact that the 10 previous main characters and their numerous offspring and friends/relatives/guardians photo-bombed just about every scene, to max confusion. Having read the series recently, even I was confused as to who belonged with whom once everyone was in the same location.
Feel was all over the place, seeming to want to show more of past characters and what was going on within their happily-ever-afters, than focusing on these two characters when we've yet to experience their journey.
Brogan and Mikel were shortchanged, overshadowed by the love-fest, propagation in the series. Pregnancies, births, and heats, none of which belonged to Brogan and Mikel. There were characters everywhere, at all times, the majority pregnant, to where I was wondering if I (the reader) would get any privacy from their constant invasion.
While I understand how other readers won't perceive this as I have, enjoying the nonstop cameos from books' past, it turned every scene into mass confusion for me.
I need to state, back when I first read book 1, I understood the foundation and influence as to why the author created this series, with alpha, beta, and omega, and their status within society. As the series evolved, the omegas were gaining a voice, finding empowerment. Their stories were meant to inspire, as they lifted up an entire gender who was living under oppression.
There was a devolution in Feel. The focus on being happy was making babies. Not having a baby, but having MANY babies. Babies everywhere. Everyone was pregnant, just had a baby, waiting on adoption, or delivered a baby. Not one, but TWO deliveries... neither of which was Brogan.
As for the couple, their relationship revolved around coddling, cuddling, enabling, biting one's tongue, walking on eggshells, being perfectly sympathetic, conscientious, all the while acting as if the PC police would call you a bad guy if you actually spoke your mind. They never fought but once (I'll get there next), so this never-ending, saccharine love-fest was so unrealistically disingenuous, that I couldn't buy the romance, let alone their connection.
They both had heavy baggage they were carrying around, yet both behaved in a martyr, self-sacrificing way that didn't balance. I felt the therapy sessions were promising, until the couple went together. It ended up being beyond inappropriate, romantic declarations and a sexual laundry list, with them making-out on the sofa. I'd forgotten the therapist was sitting there, then the doctor spoke, and I was skeeved out.
Not a prude, but it felt like everyone, everywhere was asking each other if they were going to have sex, right down to whether to wear a condom, which meant the conversations revolved around whether or not they were going to 'seed' their mate. No sliding into it with small talk- I wondered if they had any hobbies, jobs, or lives outside of getting pregnant or raising children, which was the opposite of how empowering the series started out.
Where is Brogan's restaurant? What did Mikel truly want to do as a career? I don't know, but I do know the witness was pregnant.
The fight.
Mates. Partners. A week. It was almost a week before Brogan told Mikel something important, something so important it meant unleashing evil on the city, an evil that had already killed many, including his own parents. Then Brogan didn't even tell Mikal all of it. More like baited Mikel into being upset, then basically stormed off to go complain to all of his friends how Mikel didn't let him finish. At this point, I found Brogan to be the most illogical, irrational, childish person on the planet.
'It' happened. The heat. A day passed. They were intimate. He visited a lawyer. THEN, and only then, did he tell his partner, and he had the audacity to act as if Mikel was in the wrong. They're partners, it should be a consensus. A meeting of the minds until a compromise is found. Neither right or wrong, but being able to voice a different perspective, to show how head-blind one can become. To help one another. Isn't that the point of having two different individuals in a partnership?
Brogan ran off to his friends, where they ALL enabled him, coddled him, and told him he was right. I flipped back, reread the fight three times (it was only like 3/4 of a page), and still didn't get where Brogan was coming from. He was so irrational, to an unhealthy degree. No one should be agreed with simply to avoid confrontation or to save face (that is how I viewed their entire relationship) Brogan needed a dose of reality. Yet again, he was coddled into kind of seeing Mikel's point-of-view by Morris, but it was still tainted by a 'you're always right, he will always be wrong, even when you're wrong and he's right' mentality. Then Mikel apologized, which felt like the victim being gaslit into thinking they were at fault.
There were too many characters on the page, to the point I couldn't keep track of them when they appeared and disappeared, only to reappear, many times over. It's hard juggling dialogue with more than three characters at a time, but when you add the cutesy toddlers joining the already involved conversations... the connection and romance between the couple was overshadowed, and the plot was buried.
Tarek was the saving's grace for me, and his narration came out of nowhere. I was involved with the mystery and how it tied all six books together, even if the threads didn't quite match up correctly. But then we got to the climax, and it was just quickly added in, a few sentences at the end, all told and never shown, so the payoff was anticlimactic and incomplete.
In the end, I feel the author was setting up a time-jump, where the kids will get books. Which, believe me, I think that refreshes a series. I hope that's what she has planned. The only issue is how this overshadowed THIS book, to where there was nothing but seeding future installments and filler from past narrators. Everything that was important was a few sentences, tucked into a series-worth of happily ever afters, shown in THIS book.
This story is a bit of a change-up from the others in that it's the omega, Brogan, who is the more aggressive partner in pursuing his alpha bondmate Mikel. Mikel is reluctant to get involved, thinking himself unworthy of a mate. I was glad to see Brogan finally find his mate and Mikel is a sympathetic character who is remorseful for his prior actions and is working very hard to overcome the damage done by his past. Unfortunately, though I liked both characters, I didn't connect as much with them as a couple as I have with others in the series. There were some very emotional moments though, especially with some news about Peyton and the support that the extended family offers.
There was a lot going on with past characters as well, and I think everyone made an appearance at some point. There were also still issues regarding the fight ring being resolved. The end of the story was a bit of a rushed, quick wrap-up of some of the issues that had been ongoing in the story, with just a mention of some things that I would have liked to see play out, but it also had a big surprise in store for a long-time favorite couple that I absolutely loved.
Feel is the sixth book in A.M. Arthur’s Breaking Free series and follows Brogan, the last of the fight club omegas to find his mate. I was happy to see that the story breaks out of the mold of many of the past books, as I had noted in prior reviews that things were starting to feel somewhat repetitive. While most of the books have focused on the omega’s reservations about getting involved with a mate after past abuse or trauma, in this story, Brogan is ready to move forward but it is alpha Mikel that has his hesitations. So I appreciated this change up to the formula in the series, though to a large degree the plot was similar with just a swap; rather than a confident alpha and hesitant omega, we had the reverse. So we still had many of the same issues as the first books, particularly with Mikel having an incredibly abusive past he must overcome. I would love to see this series move beyond past physical/emotional trauma being the conflict every time. Arthur has created an interesting world here and there is a lot that can be done with it, so I would love to see things diversify. I’ll also note that while Mikel’s abuse is not described in lengthy terms, we do get explicit mention of some of the abuse he suffered, so be aware if this is a trigger.
Feel (Breaking Free #6) by A.M. Arthur 3 stars M/M Male Pregnancy - non-shifter Triggers: Physical Abuse, Talk of rape I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
I have enjoyed several of the book in this series. While I don't think you necessarily have to read them in order, it does help to know how the relationship developed and continue.
This is Brogan's story. He was another victim of the Omega ring. He has a son, Peyton, who is adorable in this story. It seems like Peyton can read people's feelings very well. While Brogan is happy for his fellow Omegas, he is also giving up on himself ever finding his mate. That changes one day while having coffee with his friend Jayson.
Mikel is still recovering from a traumatic childhood and early adulthood. His sire is finally in jail, but the scars, both physical and emotional have taken their toll. Despite being so young, Mikel is worried that he will never make a good alpha because he has his father's blood in him.
This is a story about recovery, loving and forgiving. Brogan has some hard truths in this book and while surrounded by his family, learns that he also is OK with leaning on his alpha. Mikel learns that sometimes, even with the horrible, he can deserve and be OK with his own happy ending.
This book felt a little scattered - more so than the other books. I'm not sure if it was because we were watching the issues of both characters unfold, but overall, this was not my favorite of the series, thus far. Also, it felt rushed at the end. We didn't really get to see a resolution - we were just told there was one.
Just when I think this series can't get any better, *fanfare* she does it again! You laugh, you cry, you rage, you're scared with them, happy for them, and everything in between! What a series this has been! AND there's going to be a book 7! I can't wait to see who it's going to be.
Brogan was so happy for all his friends finding their bondmate and moving on with their lives, but his heart yearned for his own bondmate. He'd be happy with someone wanting him, but for some reason he feels like he's cursed or ugly or something. On a lunch date, with his friend, Jaysan, he smells the most incredible smell in his life. His bondmate? But who it is, is a slight blow. Mikel. Jaysan has forgiven Mikel for the accidental stabbing. He was after all trying to take his own life. Not someone else's. But Jaysan’s mate, Morris, isn't so forgiving. With the bonds between the omegas, this is going to be hard. But something in Mikel’s eyes lets Brogan know there is more going on than most people know. And when Brogan finds out the extent of it, he's even more determined to show this broken down alpha that he is capable of love and of loving. Even Brogan’s son, Peyton, is in love with Mikel. But Mikel has to learn that he is better than his past and his sire, and Brogan is determined to make sure he knows.
Each story of these omegas just tears my heart in two. But this one had a severe heartbreaking story from the alpha as well. All the alpha have kinda been through a little something, but this one takes the cake. What made it worse was Mikel's story with Jaysan made the news, and some people weren't so quick to forgive or forget. That's what drives me crazy sometimes. People who are trying to change, honestly trying to change, and no one lifts them up. They get stuck on the mistake instead of the change and it's so not fair. Despite his own bad story, and worse news throughout this story, Brogan was determined to make sure Mikel knew Brogan believed in him. That he had someone by his side, no matter how much Mikel fought him. But with Mikel’s past and his accident with Jaysan, Mikel is terrified to hurt Brogan. And more so, Peyton. Mikel would rather cut off his own body parts then hurt those two, and that was proof to Brogan right there that he was a good alpha. He cares so much for Peyton with all he does, does on the little man, cherishes Brogan and even is learning to cook to help his Omega. Yeah, that's a good man trying to change, trying to be the best for his little family.
The more this group grows, the more I love. They have become their own tight knit community in a community. These alpha and Omega and their precious young have started a hope and a change in a community that needs to be shaken up. They make their voices heard, often at the expense of cruel comments and such. Sometimes more. But they believe. In equality for everyone. No matter gender, race, or anything else.
And on another note, was the man on this cover not sexy as hell???? So wonderful to see people of color and race on covers. So beautiful!
You guys are going to love this book. But bring tissues. It will grab you! Now I need book 7!!
**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
Feel is the sixth installment in the Breaking Free series. This series can be read as standalones but seeing how the characters and storylines intertwine they are better read in the order that they were written and released.
Brogan is the only single omega left from the fighting ring. He and his son, Peyton, are still living with their foster family. Brogan is eager to find a mate, regardless if it's a bondmate or not. While out with Jaysan and Morris he scents his bondmate but unfortunately it's the last person anyone expects.
Mikel is from Jaysan's past. He was hooking up with him for quite a while before Jaysan and Morris found each other. Mikel while attempting to hurt himself stabbed Jaysan which almost killed him. Jaysan has forgiven Mikel but not everyone has. Mikel has sworn off being in a relationship. It's not something he wants especially right now while he's still seeing a mandated therapist weekly. He knows he can't be the strong alpha that Brogan and Peyton need.
When their bond is too much to fight Mikel and Brogan come to an understanding that they are strong for each other, something that isn't always the typical alpha/omega dynamic but it works for them.
I did enjoy Brogan and Mikel's story. They both came from broken pasts and were able to find the comfort they needed in each other. And as always I love getting glimpses of couples past and seeing how the families all interact.

Honestly you have to read all the books in the series before you read this so you can understand who is who and all the backstory. Now my mistake was I read book 7 before book 6 on accident. I wasn't confused but I knew some of the things that had happened since reading book 7 first. OOPS. I will say this is probably my least favorite of all the books in the series. It just didn't feel like the books was about Brogan and Mikel. I think they somehow got lost in everything else. I couldn't really feel the connection between them and after awhile I read the book to find out more about previous characters than about Brogan and Mikel.

Feel is Book 6 in A.M. Arthur’s Breaking Free series and cannot be read as a standalone! This is a fantastic series and world that the author has created, and I highly recommend reading the entire series!
Brogan is the last single Omega rescued from the fight ring. Almost two years later and he’s still living with his foster parents and ready to give up on finding his bondmate. A casual meeting with Morris and Jayson for coffee shocks Brogan when he finally finds his bondmate. A bondmate who he has heard of and not in a good way. Mikel is hanging on by a thread after everything that happened when he tried to kill himself but instead hurt Jaysan. He’s meeting the conditions of his probation and seeing his therapist as ordered but he’s nowhere close to forgiving himself for what happened. He’s shocked when he discovers Brogan is his bondmate, the last thing Brogan needs is someone like him.
Though Omegas are supposed to be the weak gender needing Alpha’s protection, this series has done a great job, especially in this book, of showing the strength of Omegas. Brogan had to be strong to provide the support that Mikel needed. This was a slow moving relationship, that we saw build throughout the pages of the story. I loved that Brogan and Mikel dated and got to know each other, not always common in books with alpha/omega dynamics. Their relationship didn’t come together easily. They each had their own issues to work through with their histories, but they also had their friends' concerns. And, just when you think maybe the horror of the fight ring is done, it’s brought back to light with the discovery of the paternity of Brogan’s child.
I truly love this series. I love the world that the author has created and even the smallest things bringing this world together. This M-Preg story has no females. It’s Alpha, Omega and Beta, all males. But, all of them in the series when speaking about a “higher power” use the term Goddess. I loved seeing so many of the characters from the previous books and I love the self-made family and how it continues to extend. If you have not read this series, or if you’re looking to try an M-Preg book, this series should be the one you start with. You’ll see that the author has built an entire world. This is an A.M Arthur book so it’s not a sweet, sappy love story. Her books are always filled with hurt and damaged people working to live the best life they can live. There’s plenty of love story and the previous couples provide the sap, but these men have a lot of trauma and a lot of work in trying to change their world to improve it for everyone. Grab this series now!
This is book 6 in the Breaking Free series, and you really SHOULD read books one through five (and 3.5) before this one. You need to know how Brogan got to this point in his life, and you NEED to know what Mikel did to Jaysan last year. And you know, I SAID so, because they are rather awesome!
Brogan is waiting patiently for his fated Alpha. He really doesn't wanna settle, but will do, as a last resort. His foster parents are brilliant with him and his son, Peyton, but Brogan wants HIS family. Picking up the scent of Mikel in the coffee in the coffee shop while out with Jaysan and Morris, and Brogan knows his found HIS family. However, Mikel is in a bad place after what he did to Jaysan last year, and he is in no state to become a mate. Brogan is, however, prepared to wait for Mikel and when Brogan's past comes back to haunt him, Mikel knows he has to get himself together, because his Omega and his son needs him. But CAN he?
Mikel isn't, well. . .WASN'T . . .my favourite character, and there have been some bad ones in these books, but when WHY Mikel did what he did became clear in Whole (book 5) it made some sort of sense. But here? The full picture becomes shockingly clear, and you see why he did what he did, and you really do feel for the young man. It shows you that not only the omegas and betas can suffer parental abuse, but the alphas can too.
Brogan is the most optimistic of the young men from the fight ring, hoping all along that he would find his mated Alpha and that man would take himself and two year old Peyton on. What Brogan FEELS when he is with Mikel, make shim know that deep down, he is a GOOD man, a good ALPHA, and Brogan just needs to make Mikel see that too.
Poor Mikel is up against some powerful men here, Morris especially, but all the Alphas in the pairings are wary of Mikel and really, who can blame them. But with Brogan's perseverance and determination to make them see that Mikel is a good man, they all come round, one by one. Even Morris, does, sorta! " I can be nice to him, Jaysan, without being his best friend!"
Brogan deals with some stuff here, that is different to the rest of the omegas, and his pain is deep, really deep. Mikel pulls himself together just when Brogan needs him the most. But Brogan helps Mikel too, dealing with HIS trauma after what happened last year, and from before.
I am LOVING these books, and do NOT want them to end!
I've really enjoyed all of the books in this series, which is best read in order. Feel has a lot going on in it and even though I've read all of the other books I still had a bit of trouble keeping track of all of the characters in Feel which is about Brogan and Mikel.
I think just about all of the previous characters are included in this story along with all of the various couple's offspring and siblings. While it was fantastic to be reunited with all of the wonderful characters it was still a be daunting trying to keep everything straight.
The most important thing to me was that Mikel, a character introduced in an earlier story when he stabbed Brogan's best friend, Jaysan, gets an HEA. There were some extenuating circumstances, and he was remorseful so I'm glad he is granted redemption in Feel.
Brogan is envious of all of his friends who have found their bondmates and he longs to find his. When he encounters Mikel in a coffeeshop they both feel the mating bond but Mikel doesn't feel worthy enough to have a mate.
Mikel struggles throughout the story to feel worthy of Brogan and Brogan does everything he can to reassure Mikel. We also get two great stories within a story. One for Brogan's pregnant friends Jaysan and Kell and there is also a great mystery surrounding the deaths of Brogan's parents and the fight ring where most of the omegas met each other.
This is definitely a must read for anyone who has been enjoying this series.
An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
I’ve been waiting for Brogan’s story and really enjoyed watching his relationship with Mikel evolve, but it was Mikel who stole my heart as he wrestled his own demons in this newest instalment of the Breaking Free series. Plagued by his own insecurities, we see such an incredible growth in this character that I couldn’t help but celebrate the smallest victories as he built his new life. These two men complement each other well and the unconditional support they bring to each other’s lives was truly heartwarming. It’s certainly not an easy path for this couple (I’d expect nothing less from AM Arthur) but there’s an unwavering sense that they’re stronger together and can face anything. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how entirely charmed I was by Peyton and how glad I was to be able to check in with the rest of this family by choice that I’ve become so invested in. As much as I love these characters and want to encourage new readers to dive in, there’s definitely a lot that has brought them to this point and I think they would be well advised to start this series from the beginning, it’s absolutely worth the journey to get to this story.
Learning and loving and working toward a new and happy forever. Awesome writing and a powerful story-line create a compelling read!
I so enjoyed watching these flawed but wonderful men, work their way to a true HEA! They are both survivors of abuse and are stronger for their history. However, sometimes it is hard to see your value when you only see your brokenness. These two MC's and their whole adopted family pull together to help them heal and be whole.
Mikel and Brogan have a unique and wonderful story. My heart hurt for both of these men, however i was so happy to see that they mostly talked their way through their challenges. Both men were honest and were willing to work to make their mating a success and positive relationship.
I loved seeing the rest of the guys from the previous books!! Made my heart happy!
"Feel" is a five-star if you've been reading the series. Brogan, the last single omega from the fight-ring group, scents his mate Mikel, in a restaurant. Mikel also is from a previous book in the series as a young, severely abused alpha who became aggressive with one of Brogan's best friends. Mikel is currently on probation, not working, and going to counseling. Brogan is also caring for his toddler son, the result of a rape. Can Brogan and Mikel, two abused and healing persons, form a true bond-mate relationship and overcome to become a true family? This book is less stand-alone because it catches up on the lives of the larger friends group and is much more enjoyable if the reader is invested in the lives of all the characters. This book is consistently as well-written as the entire series so far and highly enjoyable.
I have enjoyed each of the breaking free books so far, but I liked this one the best because the book has moments when we see what is happening from a previous volumes MC's point of view. Each of the books so far focus on a new pair as the current MC, but previous ones appear, (which I love) but this one does it more extensively and with more characters. This book was broader in who was the main character, which was cool, though the main story was still about Brogan and Mikel, which was great. So far I have enjoyed each supportive, often dramatic, suspenseful and lovely book in this series. I know that when I want a feel good book with a HEA, that I can go to A M Arthur.
Brogan, one of the omegas from the notorious fighting ring, gets his turn at a HEA, but not with an alpa unknown to us!
Mikel, an Alpha with a whole lot of baggage, is afraid to let himself get close to Brogan and his son. He himself was a victim of severe childhood abuse and doesn’t trust that he has the instincts to be a good mate and father.
These two make an awesome couple, but there are emotional moments concerning Brogans child.
Another great story from the Omegaverse world. So much emotion is poured into these books. Heartbreak, fear, longing, hope, love. These omegas have shared so much between them and have bonded from that pain. It was wonderful to read the last single omega, Brogan find his bondmate in Mikel. Mikel, with his own history of a violent sire. Mikel who learned to trust again and believe in himself with help from his therapist and the love from Brogan and his son Peyton. Was also brilliant to read about all the other characters from past books.
I read Jaxs' story (he is the deaf omega) and now I remember why I did not read the rest, the damn names! I get the author is trying to be creative but the names in these stories are a bit much. Also there are too many people. I had a hard time keeping up. All that being said I did enjoy this book. I would have given it 4/5 if it was just these two and not so many background people. I found myself skipping pages when the POV shifted from Mikia and Brogan to other people. If you like a slow burn about Alphas and Omagas than get this.
Mikel is what truly made this story great. It was almost a complete role reversal. Brogan, despite being an abused omega, had a mental state that was in a much healthier place and he perused Mikel and wooed him much like the alphas usually do. Mikel was an aphahole. Not really though. It turns out that while yes he made some big mistakes, he was really a scared and tortured man who was lashing out. He goes from someone you hate to someone who you care about deeply. Tons of character growth goes on in this one.
I love this series and I loved this book! Honestly it's one of my fave Omega series. It has awesome world building and wonderful characters. Both main and secondary. This book didn't disappoint. Although I do feel like the end was rushed. But all in all stellar.
I feel like there were some topic raised we didn't get answers for but I hope that comes in the next book in the series. All in all a good read.
When Brogan scents his bond mate, he is shocked to find it's Mikel, an alpha that almost killed his best friend by accident. Beated, and tortured by his sire Mikel is terrified to accept Brogan as his mate in case he Becky his father. But when Brogan receives some devastating news, Mikel must step up and prove himself worthy to protect his omega and young son. Fantastic read, you really feel for Mikel, wanting him to get his hea ending.
This book was absolutely fantastic, I could not put it down, so I didn't! I absolutely loved this Author, she can make you hot, cold, scared, cry and jump for joy. Definitely a must read, the characters from previous episodes, including family history and lots and lots of mysteries, along with their drama, excitement and joy, Friend's and Family alike, and another beautiful love story. So many thanks, Honey Bee 🥰🤩🎭🔥📚💙🐝🎶
I’m going with 3.75 stars. I did enjoy this book but I wasn’t as drawn in as I was with some of the others. I am glad we got updates from the other couples, but I also agree with some other comments about that taking up a good percentage of the book. There was a lot going on. Which was ok, for the most part. If you want an update on literally everyone so far and want some gooey feels this is a good book for you.
I was unsure about this one. How would we feel about Mikel getting his own HEA? But the author absolutely nailed it. It’s one of the most beautiful stories of redemption and personal growth that I’ve read. Absolutely loved seeing Brogan find his mate and seeing Mikel realize he was worthy of having a mate.
Oh my gosh another book in the Breaking Free series! Yes please! This book was so amazing! Seeing familiar faces pop up and their families growing was wonderful! I love how Brogan and Mikel grow and form a relationship! This was a story that made me laugh and cry! Crossing fingers for another one!
I hated the fact that Mikel was in this story, then I grew to care how careful he was with Brogan. This is a great story about Mikel and Brogan, and everyone that loved/supported them working past issues. The babies are multiplying and growing up, and it was great to read how everyone in the past books are doing! Loved this story!
As always, and after muchhhh waiting, this breaking free book was no less amazing than the first 5. Brogan and Mikel's story was as beautifully expressed as the rest of the series and I loved getting to know about their lives and catch up with familiar faces. 10 GOLD STARS. If u havent read the BF series, u need to one click like now. No regrets!
Even though this was a new love story between Mikel and Brogan...it was also a chance to catch up with all of the other family (and tons of kids!) from the other books in this series. I still love to read about Ronin and Kell (my favs).
So good. I was waiting on Brogan's story & I was so happy he got one, so worth the wait. It's got angst & I cried & my heart broke. I so need next book ASAP... EEK... The book at least had a HFN, I need a HEA. Sniff... Peyton.
