Maxmillian Poole now runs The Elite Poole Worldwide. Thanks to a lucrative partnership with the billionaire venture capitalist, Axelrod Randolph, Max and his husband Ethan are prepared to expand the company across the globe. But with this bigger business impact comes more personal exposure, and Max and Ethan are unprepared to be thrust beneath the public eye. Painted as the faces of the company, Max and Ethan begin to experience the strain of unwanted celebrity, and Max isn't happy about it.

When Ethan's ex-lover, Merrick Felix, comes to town and requests Ethan's services as a bodyguard, Max is wary of his motives. He can tell that Felix still has feelings for Ethan. But Ethan sticks up for his old flame and demands that Max trust his judgment. With their relationship already under strain, Max reluctantly agrees in hopes of avoiding more turmoil. But it turns out to be a devastating mistake. Unbeknownst to them, outside influences seek to tear them apart and will stoop to terrible lows to achieve it.

Contains graphic m/m BDSM scenes between loving partners.

Very convoluted plot to get revenge and separate Max and Ethan. I skipped a lot because I didn't care. I wanted to know what was going on which I still found out, and what happens next, which I know too, so skipping made no difference.

This was ok so 3ish stars.

Book 11, and I love this series just as much as book 1 and all the others in between. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get enough of Max and Ethan. I have absolutely loved watching these two grow as a couple, as well as how far each of them have come on their own. Ethan is a long way from that shy country boy model who longed to join the FBI. And Max, who ever thought he would have opened his heart and life to someone so completely as he has done with Ethan. They really have come a long way.

In this installment, they are handling things after they came out to the employees at Elite Poole, on their own terms, until that is taken out of their hands when they are publicly outed by their now business partner, Axel. If you’ve read this series, you’ll understand why this is such a big deal. Max has worked his entire life to make Elite Poole the success it is today. So, for it to now be affected negatively for no other reason than him being married to a man, is a big deal. Let’s not forget that Ethan is also an employee.

Meanwhile, Ms. Owens gives us even more of that these guys have shared with us from day one – unbelievable smoking hot chemistry. This is one of my favorite D/S relationships to watch. I don’t think I can fully describe how much I enjoy the characters themselves. Max and his dominant need to be in control of every aspect of his life, and Ethan with his natural want to trust and submit to whatever Max has in store for him. This is not the typical BDSM. They don’t have specific planned out “scenes,” but they just naturally get there. It’s easy to feel how much these guys care for each other, how much they realize how lucky they each are to have the other. Their actions do get a little predictable, but that’s to be expected, and they continue to learn and grow from their actions. All I know is that I am really looking forward to Max and Ethan finally putting Max’ father in his place once and for all so they can just go about their own lives. I hope we don’t have to wait to terribly long to see that happen. In the meantime, I highly recommend giving this series a try.

I can't say this compares to other books I've given 5⭐️, but at this point of the series I'm so invested that I enjoy each book tremendously. We're gearing up for the big confrontation so I can't wait for the next one!
I'm knocking almost a star due some editing and continuinty errors, but overall it was very good.

I've run out of compliments for this author

Sin city 11! And yet I want more. In fact, I don't ever want to let these two go. Ethan and Max are hands down the best MM couple I've read. In this one, we find them dealing with the after effects of their coming out. There is a far more sinister conspiracy set in motion and even the all powerful Maximilian Poole is on his toes. Despite all this, the bond between Ethan and Max perseveres and there are plenty of beautiful tender moments, steam and emotions. A very hot photoshoot. The conclusion of the book had me in tears because these guys feel so deeply for each other and Tricia Owens writes it so expertly. Just feel this book. 💯

Not very often an author can write a continuing series of books and every one of them be five stars but Tricia Owens continues to do it . I love Max and Ethan so much it makes me want to go all Ted Bundy on people when they try to hurt them . This book had it all , scorching heat, love ,passion , betrayal and heart stopping moments can't wait for the next book but also dreading what Maxs' father might do to our boys. Read it in one sitting couldn't stop reading till I knew what happened. Brilliant. Hope the wait for the next book isn't too long .

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I can never get enough Oh Max and Ethan. I got frustrated as usual at Ethans's naiveté but that's just a part of who he is. I believe these 2 are among my top 10 favorite book couple. Maximilian Poole is by far the sexiest lead second only To Richard Connor Cobalt!
I await, impatiently, the next installment of this power couple and hope that Ms. Owens never sees for to tKe them away from us

Thank you Tricia Owens!!

For another heart warming chapter in Ethan and Max's life. It's never a dull moment and with the constant temptations of Sin City combined with trying to take a corporation global........ it's not easy keeping their relationship strong. But the trust they have in each other is constant and gives them the upper hand when dealing with the foes lurking across the pond. I can't wait for the next installment in their lives. Hurry please hurry Tricia!!

The story felt like a deja vu to an earlier book in the series. So I only give it 2 stars. If you want to keep reading the series, you should read this book though, because it is a prelude to the next book. I hope the next book is better, and that it will finally get to a conclusion of the series. Because it feels like the 2 main characters are explored enough.

Loved it

First of all I couldn't stop reading although I really wanted to savior this story. We all knew Ethan was heading into a "situation ". However the ending was very unexpected and I really applaud Ms. Owens for that. ALSO and more importantly ...we can now look forward to many more stories .

I know I am late to reading this book, but I thought the series had stopped. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit back with Max and Ethan and their never ending struggles to make their relationship work. I hope that there will be more books eventually or atleast 1 to wrap their story up.

I read this book through my kindle unlimited subscription

Rating is based on the entire series (books 1-11 thus far) rather than each one individually.

Love the series. Love Max and Ethan. Love the D/s relationship they've built. Love them individually and as a couple. Yeah, love the whole fucking enchilada.

Awesome

Another great one . The boys have father in law drama. Ethan's forced to leave max or is he? I can't wait for Ethan to meet mass parents. I hope the boys survive this one. New business deals are broken in this book.

Finally! More Ethan and Max! Hopefully, we haven't read the last of them, as this left me panting for more. Although I really am tired of Ethan always being in the wrong.

The twist was obvious and Ethan's persistent naïvety is slightly grating but the writing was gripping and I needed to know how it would work out in the end.

Really like the series but seriously, no character can be as naive and gullible time after time as Ethan.
