Having obliterated Roderick’s Raiders, Dan vows to lead three hundred elves and gnomes to an ancient red elf fortress in the Wildervast, an untamed region created by a powerful succubus queen. Even with four powerful women by his side, how will Dan succeed when he’s up against ferocious creatures, desperate and deadly monster girls, and the mighty Warlord of the Wildervast?
In a dangerous world, you can’t just stroll to safety. Sometimes, to protect the ones you love, you have to become a destroyer.
Warning:Dan the Destroyer is an over-the-top adventure novel intended for readers 18 and older. It includes explicit sex, graphic violence, a harem of gorgeous ass-kicking women, inclement weather, a haughty black panther princess, and a two-fisted antagonist you won’t know whether to love or hate. Read at your own risk.
The action continues right where it left off in book 2. What I really love is that the author’s writing skill has increased significantly!
Personally, one of my favorite parts was the return of Wulfgar and a rundown of his current stats! I love the crunchy stats which give you his current level, strength, intelligence, etc. as well as his abilities, although even as Dan lamented...”What, no Sexual Stamina III?” I would think with as much as this guy gets laid he would have mastered that skill already!
Again, while not my go to, there are multiple sex scenes in this book, but they are done well and don’t not distract or take away from the story. Ula is still something else and the “interactions” always fun to read. There are some pretty intense sex scenes, one that comes to mind is between Dan, Thalia, and Ula...whew!
As they enter the Wildervast they come upon a variety of interesting things...ever heard of “monster girls? Or swamp folk??” The world building for the Wildervast is great, and you can definitely get a good visual of what it’s like.
Another thing that stood out in this book is the chapter titles. Normally, they play a seemingly small part but I found a couple quite awesome like, “Check your elf, before she wrecks herself” and “fuuuuuuuuuuuck!”
One of my new favorite characters was also introduced in this one. “Big Bob Brannon” maybe it’s because I work with a guy that he reminds me of.
Anyway, if you liked the first two, you will not be disappointed in this one. If for nothing else it is non stop action from start to finish!
Great work again and can’t wait for Dan the Warlord!!
Awesome story. Loving and digging the Dan the man The Barbarian. New girls Zamora and Agatha are awesome. And Thelia, is freaking cool. There is a little tension in the harem at the beginning but at end loved how it solved. Waiting for the next eagerly!
This isn't so much a review as my own personal thought dumb, there may be spoilers. So read at your own discretion and know that this is just my opinion.
This series was somewhat interesting but the fact that Dan never really changes, never listens to anyone not even himself and never learns from his mistakes, has completely ruined this series for me. I tried to give this 3rd book a chance and it was nothing but stupid descriptions and toxic masculinity. I love a good power fantasy but I have to like the MC. I haven't hated a series this much since I read game lit with "The Valens Legacy" and I never thought I'd hate a MC more then the Werelion prick from that series but here I am. My opinion if you want it just stay away it's not worth the head ache.

Great read, the series keeps the same standard of quality so far. The adventures continues and Dan growth beyond State Collage and his old life self, becomeing more atuned with his nature as a Barbarian. If there is one regret for me in this book is that focused to mutch in Dan, grandted it was neede all this time to see him change and morphe into this persona, but the fun and interesting aspect of the last book was that it gave some prominance to his two lover wich gave them more depth that only harem members. None the less the book keeps delivering what promises and still a fun read all along.
As adventure books go this one is top notch. You won't get better action. As an RPGLit book, while light in mechanics, it never let's you forget the rpg elements, at the same time not bogging down the story either, well done. As for a harem book, well it's got some right darn nice wives and some damn good sex through it the whole story! The nice thing is the harem elements add to the story instead of detract with pointless sex scenes. Tastefully and well done raunchy adventure at it's best! Highly recommend!
Most GameLit stories focus on the story and characters, combine that with magic, then add some leveling dynamics. All well and good (when written well and good), but very few stories include that “for the win!” tabletop RPG feel along with some well-placed gamer humor. This series succeeds in doing just that, and it leaves you wanting more.
Great concept, great story, fun characters (with some depth). Definitely recommended.
No real complaints from me. The character development even more engaging. I enjoy the characters all being important enough to make me irritated or happy with their decisions or actions. That's how you know a story is well done. Anytime I can care about more than just the main character I'm able to enjoy the book more and become more invested and immersed in the book.
Hondo Jinx show how talent he is as a author . His 3rd book in his series and is none stop action and high adventurer combat and women by Crom. This book is a most to read 5 stars. Can not wait for his next book and his first book on audible narrator by Andrea Parsneau Dan the Barbarian...., ☆☆☆☆☆
Dan becomes a destroyer to protect his people. The trek to Flame Valley is dangerous requiring him to destroy attackers. I like the action, humor, and romance. The characters continue to develop and the beginning of trouble in the harem surfaces. I look forward to the next book.
Have just read Adventurer and Destroyer back to back and have started Warlord, this is a great series that is getting better with each book, loving the diverse harem and the depth of the harem characters. I Love the unpredictable storyline and the moral fiber of Dan, although that is stretched a bit in this book. Looking forward to coming back after finishing Warlord.
I have no idea why but I love this series so much! The story moves along at a breakneck pace. If you havent read the first 2 books do so before reading this one. You wont be disappointed at all!
The book was solid and fun to read. The MC continues to grow and develop into a leader. The wives could have used more time to grow but all of them progressed in development of the story.
Dan has Risen. I love this story. The characters are so vivid I can't pick a favorite. I can not wait for the next chapter in this saga. Keep on Mr. Jinx. My inner savage demands it!
I've enjoyed each of the Dan books and await the next one in the series eagerly. The anticipation of who is next in the harem and what adventure awaits the group is palpable.
Dan once again raises the bar for gamelit adventure and harem hijinks. More guts, more gold and best of all, more girls. I don't know how book 3 has the same excitement and wonder as book 1 but I love it. 10 cracked skulls out of 10, would recommend.
Sexy ladies, interesting story, juicy read ;) Hurry up & write some more please! Already lost one of my favorite authors of books like these, need more reading material, plz & ty
Jam packed with action and adventure, sex and violence, everything a barbarian needs. This continuation to the Dan the Destroyer will leave you wanting more!
Extremely well written world & characters, stays true to the barbarian ideals. The only "negative " thing I can say is.... not written quickly enough..lol
