I really don’t want to be horrible, but this book was painful. I don’t know if the author hated the heroine, or thinks that soulmates put up with this kind of behaviour, or if she just wanted to be a modern harlequin author, but this was just wrong. Infidelity was minimised. The heroine couldn’t be strong, but had to be come an alcoholic and than take back her scumbag husband who got his mistress pregnant. The rockstar mc was a joke! He cheated, bitched about his wife to his mistress, said she was just as beautiful as his wife etc. He definitely had no feelings for the other woman, it was just lust, but then he did not seem love his wife either. He only dumped the mistress when she got pregnant. I think the worst pet of this book was the repercussions. The wife fell apart, while the hero made no sacrifices. He apparently loved Jen more than anything, but made no sacrifices for her, he even let her get a tattoo of his name when he knew she was going to find out he had knocked up his bit on the side! So what did this besotted hero do to win back his wife? Well I will tell you, he kept his mistress working for him, he want to more of her doctors appointments than he ever did with his other children. He brought the ex mistress around his kids. And then he is meant to drop his wife to rehab and she thinks about forgiving him, he dumps her to go to his other woman and his sons Birth. Oh, also helps ex mistress has the cheek to try to throw the wife out of the recording studio, drunk or not, Emily had some cheek! Then, to add insult to injury he gets a tattoo of his new sons name under his other children’s, because how could he not? Nice constant reminder for the heroine! But no need to worry, as the wife goes through rehab and sobers up she doesn’t realise she is strong and deserves a better man or a fresh start! No, she realises she needs to forgive the sack or crap for his actions and be one big happy family again! As if! This is not a love story and I am sorry but stories like this do an injustice to marriage, fidelity and women everywhere!
As a married woman with children I am at a loss at how the author thought this was a love story or any of the actions justifiable?

Horrible H in this one ! Married to his "soulmate" but cheated not once but for 6 months, cuts family vacation and family time short to run to fuck OW. He even admits to "feeling something" for this OW, but wife is his forever love!! wife is old g/f from high school that he left to be a rock star and lived the rock star life leaving h broken heart. Everyone just knew they would end up together of course, 3 kids later H is hardly around but expects wife to be the same sexy available hot to trot sex on demand whenever he is home. Poor baby didn't like being ignored and found his side piece. It was all fun until she got pregnant. Sad sack wife went into downward spiral, got addicted to alcohol and drugs. Wonderful wonderful H later chose to abandon wife after planning to be there for her and take her to rehab because OW was in labor - he chose to be with OW over taking wife to rehab - unbelievable. TSL h not only took this ass back but also now accept OW baby and decide she will be a good step mom to this kid. Ending felt very rushed and incomplete, things turned around very fast. An epilogue into the future would have been nice. I see this idiot cheating again, I mean why not? He got away with it - he'll probably leave this kid with wife and go find another young OW to cheat with!

J, Peache & Love has safety spoilers.
Avoid.

"When he was cheating he was mad because he had to spend time in a different town with his wife and kids and couldn’t see his mistress each day during the holiday. He was mad and mean to his family because of it.

He promised his wife after she begged, he would take the next year off and not tour so he could spend time with his kids, because they missed him and cried for him.

Well guess what? He changed his mind real quick and broke that promise because he decided he couldn’t go without sleeping with his mistress for that long. He misses his mistress when he can’t see her everyday and needs to be able to be with her.

One of the worst books I’ve ever read. Very juvenile characters. Husband cheats for months. Has no remorse. His friend catches him and he still has no remorse and tells his mistress he has no plans to stop. Mistress gets pregnant and he gets caught kissing her in public by the paparazzi.

During his separation from his wife, she sees pics of him taking the mistress to doctor appointments, which he never did with her when she was pregnant with their three kids.

The heroine loses herself and becomes an alcoholic and coke addict. When she finally agrees to go to rehab, she’s walking down the stairs with her bag packed, the mistress calls and says her water broke. He tells the heroine “sorry gotta go, Emily is in labor. Your parents will have to take you to rehab.” Walks out and leaves this woman without a backward glance.

This writing is so unbelievable. The author wants us to believe the heroine is the love of his life and he only wants her, yet he continues to choose the other woman time and time again without remorse… all the way to the bitter end. The other woman is even still employed by the band and he works beside her every day. I had to force myself to finish this book and only did so in hopes she left him for someone else. Heck, anyone else would have been an upgrade.

Authors, do better. If you want us to buy into him loving his wife, you have to make it believable at some point in the book.

He verbally attacks his wife when he breaks that promise and basically says this is who you married and who I am and I’m not changing. Yet, he was always there for his mistress Emily and their baby together. But not his wife and three kids.

And you want readers to believe he’s a good dad and his wife is the love of his life? This story is bloody rubbish. Not even written to be believable.

This is a one and done for me for this author. Writing is very mediocre. When I read I like a story so genuine it completely draws you into the world and you don’t realize it’s fiction. This one is so unbelievable, I was never drawn in the entire time. No depth and just rubbish.

Cheating husband knocks up mistress.

Spoiler....Rock star hubby cheats on wife. Knocks up side piece. Wife turns to booze. They eventually reconcile. Another TSTL heroine. Are there any authors who can write a book with a heroine who isn’t a forgiving doormat? Asking for a friend...

After 10
Years of marriage Jase cheats and gets the OW pregnant. The first half was boring so I skimmed a lot. It would have been better if the ending had been more fleshed out instead of spending half the book on the beginning. Jase does a lot of things that make me question if he can ever be trusted again. Jenn stays mad for the last half of the book. She is so brokenhearted and then BAM! The last 3percent of the book she does a 180 and decides to accept ow’s baby and let Jase move back in. Dude WTF! Jenn should have slept around until she got preggers by another man—instead of drinking and doing drugs. That asshole Jase needed to get done into him what he did unto Jenn. Jenn got it right when she said he was dead to her. I never would have forgiven that mf!

I love a good cheating romance. This was not one of them. The writing lacks depth. The H shows no remorse. That he kept choosing the OW over his wife made it clear that he had no remorse. He kept working with the OW. Choose the birth of his child over the health of his wife. The ow got no comeuppance. The Hero was an arse. And then the focus appeared to be all on the wife's addiction.

The book was frustrating and frankly I was a little disgusted.

Could have been so much better.

Why are the reviews so low for this book?
It was amazing.
This book has everything I beg for in a book.
Rock star that is married with kids and when life gets in the way, he seeks out a young woman and has an affair. There are detailed OW scenes and we get the H’s POV which is brutal and hurts so good. He actually wanted and liked the OW and it was a 6 month affair that he was not willing to give up and even gave the woman a job to be on tour while wife/kids stayed home. Months of being with her and she turns up pregnant and eventually wife finds out and it is painful to watch her deal with the betrayal. The only way she can deal is to turn to alcohol and drugs. She hits rock bottom and the H has changed his mind and wants his wife. Eventually we get a HEA. But wow, what a ride!

Loved it

Jace and Jenna.

Okay I rated this down the middle, I'm not big on back telling a story I want it to be present. So first 50% I could have done without.

I wanted to strangle Jace when all he could think about was Emily. I thought Jenna was strong until the end of rehab. It's like she did a 360 hated him but all of a sudden wants to be with him again. Not sure if I could've done that. Especially after he chose Emily over her.

You have to assume this author did not have the writing ability to pull this theme off. Sometimes what's in an authors head doesn't translate to the WRITTEN word, writing is hard. So I'm not going to be snarky and say how awful if is (read some of the other reviews, they put it well), but....it's pretty bad. Read if you want to be ticked off.

I felt alot of questions were not answered in this book. It tells the story of a couple who have known each other since they were kids. Jen has loved Jase since she was 5 yrs old. Jase is arrogant and in love with Jen they get married and have 3 children. Things happen and he meets a woman 10 yrs younger who he hires. They have an on ogoing affair with for 6 months. It's painful to be in his head during this time, he loves having sex with Emily and has feeling for her. He won't stop having sex with her and knows his marriage is over if Jen finds out. Well the mistress gets preganat, guess what he ends the affair. So if she wasn't preggo, would he continue with the affair. Jen finds out about the affair from a reporter. She then starts a downward spiral into drugs and booze. Jase's friends and family make it known that are not happy with his affair and what he did the Jen. Now my rant. Jen kicks him out, she can't look after her kids due to her being drunk and stoned, he takes kids. Jen finds out he brings baby mama around the kids, and hates it. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM! He still has his baby mama work for him even though Jen wants him to fire her. I understand him being in his son's life but give me a break, can he really except Jen to get along with Emily working for him. Continue to see her knowing they had an affair and are having a baby. I also didn't feel he really learned what his actions did to his family. He wants Jen back but doesn't seem to do the hard stuff like be there to take her to rehab. They get back together briefly, and he promises her to take her to rehab. His baby mama calls, shes in labour, guess what, he instead goes to see the birth of his son. His reason is because he saw all his children being born. WHAT!! His children was conceived with his wife's not a baby mama. I felt he kept choosing the baby mama and son. His thoughts were always, Jen is my everything, my forever girl, even if we are not together. Instead of we have to be together, not being together is not an option. Does he regret the affair, yes and no and uses the reason so many authors seem to like , if I didn't have the affair, I wouldn't have my son. Hello, you wanted a son, have one with you wife. One year after Jen finds out about the affair she forgives Jase. I didn't believe in the ending is a HFN, did not feel Jase wouldn't do it again. Would have like to have seen an epilogue. What happened to Jen and Emily. Jen accepts Jase's son but nothing about Emily. Emily got away with having an affair with a married father of 3. Those of us who believe in karma, she got none. She's pretty set up in life being the baby mama. Too many answered questions. I will say this book really played with my emotions, I would read this author again.

ive read some reviews on goodreads about the author who hates her heroine so much and my curiosity got picked.. i scan the book and this is just beyond no talent writing.. idk if the author thinks "oh.. everyone will love this book so much". Every one will hate this book.. romance are written because of the HEROES.. not about H and h loves story but of HEROES.. honestly speaking the SOB H does nothing to have his wife back, they spent their times apart from cheating comming out in 52% to 96% where she visit H babysitting the kid from betrayal and have sex at apt where he had OW pregnant ,nothing happen during those time just spent times apart and borringness... if your curiosity got picked as well... message me in and i will send you the book.. or borrow via kindle to kindle... this book of the author doesn't need to paid bc this type of stories are just like those published in wattpad written by girls who taught cheatings are okay... maybe this author has been cheated by her hubby/bf or she's the homewrecker... idk.. this book is not worth everything... this book is even incomplete... the ending is the h visit SOB H apt where he had sex with OW and he was playing daddy with Jack the son from betrayal... and they have sex... or not.. just scanned it.. would appreciate the authors intelligence though if there is a sequel for this where the h end up with someone who is truly an H.. this is a poor attempt to start writing a story honestly...any one who read my review and wants to scan it, just message me, see if :Lend this book to anyone you choose: works

I can’t even give this stars. Cheating H and then still keeps working with her and she has his baby. Ugh then he and wife get back together and she helps with the kid. OMG!

I have to change my star rating from 0 to 3. This book has brought out so many emotions in a FB reader group that I had to give the author props for that.

What a freaking terrible book. She was a damn doormat and I would have divorced him but not
Before I screwed someone else (and made sure he saw the act). Once she finally decided to forgive and then he picked that slut again, he would have been dead to me forever.

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but wow was this bad !! I have never seen a bigger doormat a bigger fool or jus bad everything. This is a cheating book ( if it’s not your thing don’t read) , the H had no redemption whatsoever and end it end , the h pretty much took the blame , got herself hooked on drugs and almost losses everything. The writing was just not I would have loved to see. I’ve read doormats before but wow, this was just bad.
If you want to be mad the whole book then sure , but if your looking for a great storyline, stay clear.
This is not a bash of the writer , cause hey, she wrote a book . This was just not my typical cheating .

Cheating POS zero! Zeroine too wasn’t much better. This POS zero at one point in time said he was spending too much time with his family and he needed to be away from them, he very much preferred being on tour and on the road with his mistress than spending time with his wife and children. He only cheated because the OW was hot and willing when his wife was too tired for sex when he dropped by unexpectedly. He even tells his wife’s insecurities to the OW and wants his wife to make the OW feel welcome in the rockstar wives group so he tells his wife to be nice to her.

The women in this book had no agency since they just seem to go along with what the zero wanted especially the OW. She just seemed to go along with the affair just because, zero ended the affair and she just went along with it, she got pregnant and went along with it because the hero said she should keep the child. It’s like she’s just there with no thought process of her own.
And the zeroine who decides to ruin her life instead of making a decision regarding the zero’s cheating. She spent 6 months stuck in addiction limbo without making up her mind whether she wanted to divorce him or not and crying all the time. It’s all she ever did. Then at the end of it all she just took him back because of some cringe song lyrics he wrote.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he cheated on her again in future, none of their problems seemed to be resolved at the end.

THE TITLE DOES NOT FIT THE BOOK...She's everything who? His wife or his mistress. Because the way the author wrote this it was more that his mistress meant everything to him. If the author needs to know how to pull off a novel like this to where we actually believe the H LOVES his wife read White Picket Fences. In that book the H put boundaries up for the mistress he doesn't try to make them buddies. He doesn't invite his mistress to important events where his wife is. He doesn't have his mistress keep working for him bring her around his kids brag about his mistress being pregnant to everyone and she's having a boy as his wife is next door having a breakdown. The kids in this book had no real emotions oh were hanging out with the girl that hurt our mom we are going to be buddies kids do not react this way. The way this H handled the situation would have caused the kids a lot more trauma. The affair wasn't even discussed or hashed out hello as a women who's been cheated on. We find out the who what when where how etc SERIOUSLY WE ARECWOMEN WE INTERIGATE LIKE THE KGB. AND SHE DOESNT GO CONFRONT THE OW.until 5 months later ahh he'll no I don't know what women she took her inspiration from but nope. And any women who would sleep with a married man then be buddy buddy to her face is not the type of character she tried to make the ow out to be. Sweet and innocent and who doesn't catch feelings after having sex with someone and talking every day for six months. Someone please rewrite this so it's cones off like a really strong women wrote it. I'm thinking the author based this off of her own life as the mistress or something cause that's the only way this story makes sense.

Please. I beg of you. Do not read this book. I would give anything not to have read it. The hero is the worst. I love a good cheating theme but this guy. And then there was no grovel and instead of him getting his comeuppance she's the one who's life completely falls apart, is humiliated, and loses pretty much everything. When I read books like this I wonder if the author is actually secretly a man who hates women and writes with a pseudonym. He gets the double pleasure of debasing women between the pages and disrespecting the many women who read these books.

I have to figure out how to work now and scrub this monstrosity from my mind so I can proceed with my day. Don't be me.

Simplemente asqueroso!

another win for the blind ig. if i could erase one book from existence, it would be this one.
i love a good angsty cheating romance, but this made me nauseous. the guy has both an emotional AND physical affair for monthssss then gets her pregnant and consistently chooses the ow and their child over the h. no matter how many times he says it (and it’s a lot), the H does not love the h, if go as far as to say he hates her. or women in general tbh bc how can you do allat

The book has an interesting story line.. Have tissues handy because there is a lot of angst in this book. The beginning of the book is a bit childish. Keep reading and it gets much better.
