Love at first sight

Rate this book
Life was boring until I met her.
The raven-haired beauty on the train.
I spilled my coffee on her, and she cursed me out.

Two weeks later she was back. But she was different.
Instead of tearing into me, her sparkling green eyes begged me to make her laugh.
Her delicious, plump lips ignited my desire and made me forget the girl who got away.

But something’s wrong.

She doesn’t remember me. Acts like we just met.
I don’t know if she’s messing with me, or if it’s something deeper.
But I’m going to find out.

I was hurt once. Never again.

I’ll prove my love to Tamara and the twins growing inside her.
Life used to be boring, now it’s a roller coaster.
This time, the girl’s not getting away. This time, I’m chasing after her.

It was a sweet short novella but it was a bit of a snoozefest for me. Hero was too needy & heroine at first too obnoxious & immature. I can see teenagers liking it though...

Loved Tamara & Logan's story. It was a very intriguing book. These two seemed kind of quirky together. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for an arc of the book.

A Quirky, Sweet Romance

This story about Tamara, a woman without a job and a boy friend at the present time is on a train with her best friend when she sees Logan, a young man who is currently so unhappy with his job, but conflicted about his job because he despises it so much but is using his paycheck to plan for a world wide trip. He’s touched by the sight of her so he moves through the crowded aisle to make his way to her. After a quick stop by the train, he spills his coffee all over her making a complete mess of her top, which upsets her terrible because she has a job interview to go to. She unloads on poor Logan, who feels like he blew his chance to ask her out. Tamara departs the train in a fury and stomps off to her interview which goes badly and on the way out, she falls and hits her head and winds up in the hospital with serious head injuries. She consumes Logans thoughts every single day. After two weeks, he meets her on the train again and thus starts an awkward but sweet romance between the two. The story line was rather choppy with little background on Tamara other than she had a cheating ex and had worked as a waitress. Editing errors like misspelled words, wrong words used, awkward conversations and then an abrupt end in describing the world wide trip were disappointing. Had I not been touched by the HEA ending, I would have scored this Mia Ford book much lower. It just didn’t seem up to her previous books.

I borrowed this title from Kindle Unlimited based on the synopsis.
The story concept was strong but the setting, terminology, and weak lead characters caused me to return the ebook at 15%.
This was not a good match for me and I was not going to force myself to read a book that's meant to be a "just for me" read.
I did not read enough of this book to form one of my standard reviews so I am leaving it as-is with 3-stars for not even interesting me enough to WANT to try to continue. Sorry.
(This is not a reflection on the author or her writing style. It is just a simple case of being a bad match, I think.)

Who doesn't love a great romance? Just like myself, I am positive that when you are on the hunt for a compelling romance, you want something to lose yourself in for a while, just to get out of your own mind for a while. Ms. Mia Ford is an exceptional Author to me and once again, she has more then impressed me with the release of Love at First Sight. I strongly encourage you to follow along as Logan and Tamara fall in love and get their happily ever after. Trust me, theirs is not an easy journey but definitely worth it... Hands Down Beautiful. Imagine a chance meeting with the man that could be your everything, now if only you could remember.

I was incredibly fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Love At First Sight in exchange for my honest opinion. I am a huge fan of Ms. Ford and you will be too after reading this book or anything crafted by Ms. Ford. Just another wonderful book. I am very impressed.

Finding Love On The Train

Logan fell for Tamara at first sight. Too bad she doesn’t remember it. The second time they meet, she’s all about seizing the moment and asks him out.

Logan can’t imagine why Tamara never dicusses their first meeting. However, he’s unaware that it’s not by choice but because of an accident. She’s missing a whole bunch of memories.

Their meeting is life changing. Each comes into the other’s life when they need them most. Logan helped her deal with her memory loss and Tamara helped him move on and love again.

These two found eachother, but now life puts some obstacles in their way to finding their HEA. But they also experience so many beautiful things life offers in their journey.

There are also some great supporting characters, Katherine and Alistair. They definitely add to this love story that comes full circle.

Unusual storyline kept me engaged throughout. The main characters , Tamara and Logan were quirky together and that made it fun to read. I was half expecting Katherine to be pregnant when Tamara and Logan returned from their trip with Al being the father. Nice altruistic side blurb about the startup charity with the associated mental health issues. Kudos to Mia Ford.
The bonus novella: "Oh Katherine" was a perfect wrap up to this whole storyline as it told us what went on between Katherine and Alistair (Al) fiery friendship. I always appreciate an author sensing they've created good chemistry between two characters that their readers get excited about and do something about it. Ergo this novella! Thanks again Mia :-)

What I didn't like - There were editing/proofreading mistakes, sometimes the dialogue didn't feel natural or realistic, and sometimes it was odd. I liked him, but sometimes I didn't like how he seemed to lack strength.

What I liked - I loved both characters for the most part, and I loved how neither main character was previously promiscuous. It was a pretty well put together story that was very unique compared to thd recent common romances. I was really pleased wigh book. t was really sweet.

Overall - Very very cute unique story. I can wait til Katherine's book! I do recommend reading this book if you like romance. It really is a very good story and perfect for chose who enjoy true romance.

When Tamara and Logan first meet she captures his heart however when he accidently spills coffee on her he thinks he missed his chance. A couple weeks later on the same train he sees her again and this time she is flirting with him. Tamara had a accident the first day she met Logan and its messed with her memories so she doesn't remember their disastrous first meeting. Can Logan and Tamara make a go of things after such a rocky start?

This is a great story and once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Tamara and Logan sizzles with each turn of the page. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Oh Tamara, who knew your day could get any worse (apart from meeting the most sexiest man ever..Logan).Firstly he spills coffee over you on the train, your job interview goes pear shape and the you fall down some steps resulting in memory loss. So bad. The good thing is, Logan can’t forget Tamara and will do anything to help her. This is the story of one mans devotion to make her happy and help her regain her memory. Katherine and Alistair are a scream and at times literally as they scream and shout at each other. Fine line between love and hate or so they say. All in all a fantastic story

Too wordy

I gave this book several attempts before deciding to give up. I love the characters and the story line. Tamara and Logan meet when he accidentally spills coffee on her before her big job interview. After the interview Tamara takes a fall which leads to some memory loss. They see each other again when she is on her way to pick up a settlement check but she doesn't recall their first encounter. The relationship progresses smoothly but I feel that the story gets lost during this point.

I couldn't get into it. I felt that it was too wordy and over explanatory at times.

Tamara has a bad day. Her life is shit and now she is on her way to a job interview she doesn't want. But in the train she sees a man Logan and there is a strong spark between the two of them until the train stops and his coffee is all over her and she loses it. A couple of weeks later they meet agin but Tamara had been in an accident and can't remember meeting him. Now they have a second chance. Such a sweet and romantic book. I loved every single minute of it. It had it all. Fun, sweet, romantic, hot and exciting.

This was a romantic and sweet story with endearing characters but I had a hard time getting into it. I generally like Mia Ford’s books but this one was not a favorite. It was a little too all over the place for me. Just when you thought the story would progress another element was thrown in to slow it down. Logan and Tamara meet, then they meet again, and then it’s a roller coaster ride of so many elements after that. The last few chapters were actually the best, that and the sub characters which were a great addition to the dialogue.

Love at First Sight by Mia Ford 5 Stars

Tamara and Logan heat up this story from the beginning to the end. Sweet!!
Both quirky and sexy these two grab your attention and doesn't let go, and it all started with a spilled coffee on a train, lol.

One of the best First Love Stories I've read so far this year. Full of fun and emotions that will have you laughing and crying at some of the things that goes on in the story.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog.

Oh Lordy...what read! I don’t know she does it, but as long as Mia Ford keeps turning stories like Love at First Sight—I’m going to read them! The storyline was totally kickass; the characters were complex; and the twists and turns...Ohmigod. The main characters really had to work to reach their HEA—and boy was it worth the wait! You definitely want to add this one to your TBR! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was really wrapped up in it.) ❤️

Tamara and Logan meet for the first time on a train and he ends up spilling coffee all over her. Weeks later they meet again but Tamara doesn't remember him or the coffee incident. This was a enjoyable second chance romance. The characters were likable and had amazing chemistry. The book had an interesting and intriguing storyline. I really enjoyed reading about how Tamara and Logan got their HEA. I voluntarily received an advanced arc copy for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story. Tamara is a train wreck, and Logan is stuck in a job he hates. When they first meet, it doesn't go very well. But with a case of memory loss , their second first meet is off to a great start. They both are looking for more in life and although their relationship progresses quickly and then on to traveling to the little surprise at the end it really worked for their story. My only complaint is I wish Logan was a little more take charge, but still a great read!

Loved this second chance at a first love story!! Logan meets Tamara on the train one morning, but she is having such a bad day that just gets worse! She ends up losing her memory, so when she meets Logan by accident again she has no memory of him. They have an instant connection and Logan thinks she is just being coy about meeting him before. This is a quirky, sweet, story about taking a chance on finding your one true love!

Two Pessimises

I prefer an Alpha as lead. First chapter I thought it was a girl telling us about her only to realize it was Logan, a male. Next chapter we meet Tamara. She's a mess. Put them together, both pessimistic, both negative individuals and this doesn't add up to a read I'm interested in. This could be a a good read for the 4 & 5 star reviews it had, but I couldn't get into it.

Loved this book by Mia!

Logan and Tammy had an interesting love at first sight going on. It was amusing that Logan was stumped stupid by Tammy’s beauty until that first encounter goes sour with spilled coffee on Tam and a bunch of hateful words that follow, but then it all changes for the better for them!

Disclaimer I received an arc copy for an honest and voluntary review.

This is a second chance romance about Tamara and Logan. Tamara and Logan help each other and find love. This has good characters and storyline. This does have errors in the writing and the story. This HEA ending was great so I did score this book a little higher than I would have without it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Story line was good.

I'm not one to usually rate a book less than 4 stars, but even though the story line was good I'm sad to say that I want impressed by the writing. It seemed really repetitive and many errors. Then, it's based in the US, but the way they spoke in some scenes made it sound like they were in the UK or something. It just threw me off.

Boring

Really did not think too much of this book at all it was just to sickly sweet. There just wasn't a lot of substance to it at all the writing felt stiff and forced as though the author struggled to give it much thought. This one just wasn't for me it is a quite basic simple romance without any real substance.

Logan and Tamara's story starts out with a blast and continues the same way. It is full of sweetness, memory issues, dreams and two great best friends in Al and Katherine. Mia Ford has written a book that kept me enthralled from the beginning. Highly recommend.

Logan and Tamara kept me involved from beginning to end. They both have big personalities and there for a while you wait for it all to crash to a halt after their first meeting. She’s definitely different after her fall. I love mia’s Work and this is no doubt one of my favorites.
