PRIVILEGED: is a contemporary standalone romance novel by Carrie Aarons, in this we meet Nora Randolph and bad boy Asher Frederick born with a silver spoon in his mouth set on revenge against Nora's Stepfather, but somehow she's come under the crossfire, he's set out to bring her down.
Nora Randolph, I would never refer to her as a McAlister, must be eliminated. Everything she is, everyone she is now connected to, is dirty. And now that I have her as a pawn, we can finally expose her dear old stepfather for what he is.
A modern day cinderella story, from living in a small town to living the life of a royal princess when her mother’s due to marry a British heir.
♕ What these elites didn't realise was that I had no intention of becoming one of them. I was happy to play the outsider. To not belong. ♕
Her first day at Winston Academy, she is noticed by Asher Frederick who taunts her and this sets the pace as he's got her in his sights, his end game is to destroy her life his family was destroyed, but what he didn't encounter on was along the way he started growing feelings for her, she was nothing like he expected.
I'm Asher Frederick, and you may not know my family, but trust me, you want to be scared of me.
This was an enjoyable short read, we all love stories like this, similar to 'The paper Princess' from rags to riches story, a fish out of water around the elite of the elite, rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, but what I enjoyed about this was Nora didn't hide where she came from or changed in any way even though her mother had recently married into a fortune, she stayed true to herself.

My first story by Carrie. It felt pretty good. I am one of those readers who get's off on stories like this. YA, bullying, rich arses (but only in YA world),... so basicaly this was a great read for me. I kinda misted the angst though.

Hmmm...pretty good for a YA flick...
It was a mixture of Cruel Intentions slash Fallen Crest High slash Eagle Elite slash The Royals series, this book had the same most crucial vibe - tension through out the storyline, but most of all it showed the boredom lives of those extremely rich spoiled kids that know shit about anything but have too much money to even care
Until one girl comes into that world by chance and well enters a turmoil of relations that are based on pretense until she slowly changes the game by showing them all a different side of being a normal teen.
And then you get that angsty feel of frustration when you are expecting the bomb to drop, shatter everything and everyone around, then that moment when the anti-hero realizes his shit ways, mans up and then that make him grovel and reedem himself (from a major asshole prick driven by vengeance towards a guy who fesses up his misleading notions and becomes the guy worthy of attention!)
Well, that sums it up, just about right...*wink*

YA rags to riches trope...
But nothing in this book is realistic in any way. Concept was good. Execution wasn't.
I found myself saying 'Oh Please!' half the time.
Apparently the heroine is Mensa. In other words a super genius. So it begs to ask why she is in still in high school? Why was her dialogue so damn boring? Why did she never say anything interesting? There wasn't a a genius thought or word that comes from her mouth! it just didn't work! And the whole wedding concept fell flat and made no sense. There would have been no way in hell and 18 year old American could be part of the wedding planning for a Royal. Like... Really??
All in all this a NO GO romance that doesn't deliver much of bang in the romance or the story.

Just WOW Ms Aarons!! I bloody loved Nora and Asher and honestly I WANT MORE!! Yes I know I'm greedy like that!
Nora's life was just fine but her mother met her prince charming and now her life is no longer her life. The paparazzi follows her every move, critiquing everything but that is nothing compared to her classmates, because they are right down vicious!
“Stop looking like a lamb panicking before slaughter and they might leave you alone.”
Asher's been plotting to take down Bennett Charles McAllister for years and now that Nora is involved he has no pity if she's taken down as well. As I read and got to see Asher's viewpoint my heart went out to him because the hate he felt just ate at him and made him do things I knew were not him.
Nora is the light that Asher has been missing but his darkness is just too strong for the light trying to shine through. I loved her sweetness and her ability to see the good rather than the bad.
"Simpler times are over, and this is our reality. It may be a privileged , beautiful one, but I know it will complicated and flawed."
Despite this being YA it was totally refreshing and awesome!! I loved how there was a mix of everything that makes a story awesome drama, sexiness, mysteriousness and love!! I was totally blown away and this is a story that I know will stay with me for a while! ~Kara, 5 Stars

Please give me a minute as I catch my breath. Privileged was everything I loved in a romance: A mean hero, a strong heroine, an an engaging storyline. There were secrets, betrayal and all the angst to keep me on edge and wondering how this story would play out. I thoroughly loved Asher and Nora and never wanted their story to end.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love the cruel, bastard heroes. I do. It's my personal favorite trope and sick obsession. "The meaner the better" I always say as it makes their eventual redemption that much sweeter. That is exactly what we got in Privileged. Nora Randolph's whole life changed when her mother fell in love with the heir to the British throne, uprooted them to England and was now engaged to be married. As the simple, quiet girl from a small town, she now rubbed noses with the British Elite and was immersed in a new world of wealth and power at Weston Academy. But what happens when she attracts the attention of Asher Frederick, Winston Academy's resident golden boy and becomes a pawn in his grand scheme of revenge? Fireworks, folks!! All the fireworks. I was left shocked and dismayed and had a knot in my stomach the whole time as I couldn't help but root for them. But in all honesty I didn't know how the author would reconcile this mean and damaged man and the young woman he cruelly used to bring down his enemy into an ending I NEEDED!!
GAHH! I absolutely loved this story. While the High School/Academy mean boy trope is not new, the author put a unique spin on the story and I for one fell in love with it! It was engaging, angsty, sexy and so engrossing. Their attraction was hot and their banter was playful and swoony! I could not stop reading ya'll!! I was hooked from the first page and was lost in Asher and Nora's inevitable explosion.
In addition to having all the things I loved, the fact that the story had dual perspective made it even better! The glimpses of Asher's home life, and feelings of doubt and his own vulnerabilities completely won me over and MADE the story for me. Yes he was a bastard and deserved to be put in his place for what he did but I for one could not get enough of his unexpected and genuine feelings towards Nora. She was only supposed to serve a purpose but her amazing charm, innocence, beauty and intelligence won over this hardened young man.
While I did feel that ending and resolution was a tad rushed, it could also be due to me being greedy as I wanted more Asher and Nora. Their story was absolutely amazing! I've been a fan of this author since Red Card and can't wait to read more from her in the future! Bravo!! 4.5 stars!! ~Ratula

When I first started reading this book, I was struggling. Mainly because I felt Asher was a prat. A manipulative prat, and it was off putting. Then I started to get a better feel for who he was, and what he was protecting. I also had to understand the house he grew up in, and where the manipulation came from. Then my feelings towards him grew and I wanted to hug him and hit him at the same time.
Nora was very naive and even with her gift, it didn't give her streets smarts, but she learnt quickly in her new environment. Not everyone was happy with the circumstances that bought her to London but I liked her a lot. She was extremely smart, a little sassy but mostly the innocence made her quite endearing. When these two were together, I had this conflicting feeling of wanting them to be a couple but also knowing what he really thought. It had me transfixed and wishing for their HEA.
On the whole, after I sorted out my feelings for Asher, I enjoyed the story. I know I am reading a book of fiction, and not all things are true, but some things didn't feel factual. I can't say too much without giving away spoilers, but a few little things felt out of place. This didn't interfere with how the story played out and I was pleased with the outcome.

Nora Randolph was happy with her mom living in their small American town minding their own business until her mother meets Bennett and soon Nora and her mother Rachel are whisked off to London and into the world of the Wealthy, and the Paparazzi as Nora's new step-dad to be is considered British Royalty. He is a Duke, and soon she will become a Princess and her mother, a Duchess. With this, it means that Nora had to start a new school, one where she feels she doesn't fit in despite her new status. At the school, she meets Asher Frederick. He is the leader of a group of Elites and seems hot/cold near Nora. As the book goes along, we watch as Asher tries to win over and seduce Nora as commanded by his father in a ploy to take down Bennett and expose him for the Murderer he is. The thing is though as he soon realizes he will be in for a challenge with Nora as she's not the type to fall at his feet and not the shallow gold-digger, he assumed she and her mother are. What will happen though when Nora does start to fall in love with Asher and his plan he carried out, and Nora and her mother feel betrayed? Will Nora forgive Asher when he tries to make it right or has the damage been done and not able to be fixed? Privileged is a perfect example of the kind of Contemporary YA that floats my boat - angsty goodness and little heat! It is Gossip Girl with a British accent and a royal wedding thrown in the mix. This is where the audiobook really comes in handy because both narrators did fabulous jobs with the accents and it really added to the story. I loved the whirlwind romance between Rachel and Bennett and I also really appreciated how close Nora is with her mother and how her relationship developed with Bennett. I also really enjoyed how she stayed true to her roots despite being thrown in to this world of privilege. Because I knew that Asher was going to redeem himself somehow so I never really bought into him as the villain - however, when ish went down he sure did go full hog! I felt like the last half of the story went a lot faster than the beginning, but overall I found the book unputdownable and look forward to reading Eloise's story in Elite. Because of the accents, I really do highly recommend the audiobook! 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Mean boy. Nice girl. Revenge plot. London prep school. That about sums it up.
Privileged is what I would consider a mature YA or high school romance. Nora is the new girl in town from America. She is there because her mother is marrying a man who is in line to be King! She's thrust into the privileged world of the Royal, the rich, and the famous, and she's just trying to get through it without losing herself.
Asher is the quintessential rich bad boy at Nora's new school. He has his sights set on Nora, and doesn't have the best intentions. Does he want her because innocent practically radiates off of her? Or does he want her for something more sinister? Read Privileged and find out!

I want to be stuck up and say stop teaching people that being bullied by someone who likes you is ok, but honestly Asher wasn't much of a bully. Yes he did something bad, but... ugh just read it and find out.

Privileged is the first book by Carrie Aarons that I have read. I was pretty excited going into this book and I was definitely not let down in any way.
Nora finds herself being thrown into a new world. A world that is a complete 180 of what she is used to. A world of wealth, privilege and spoiled little shits. A world Nora wants to hide from, but unfortunately can't.
Asher has set his sites on Nora. He is the golden boy of their school's academy and is determined to follow in his family's footsteps. He also has chosen Nora to be his pawn in his game of revenge.
Nora loved when she was lost in the crowd and people kept their distance from her. Now Asher is making her the center of his world and she's unsure of what to feel or how to act.
"The one thing I know for sure about Asher Frederick is that he is no good. And I also know that if I let him, he could be the one boy who would really be able to ruin me."
I love how this entire story plays out. Nora and Asher have some great chemistry and I love that it is slow building. Carrie does a great job of moving everything at this perfect pace where it all makes sense. My only gripe and what brought it down from 5 to 4 stars is that I like for my stories to have a little bit more substance, drama, angst, and emotion added in. I felt at times it was lacking and wanted to see a bit more tension thrown in.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story. Carrie did a great job of keeping the British dialect very true and honest, giving the story more life and realism to it. I look forward to reading more from her, hopefully more from the secondary characters.

When I read the description of Privileged I was all over this book. Something about rich teenagers and private school called to me, not to mention it reminded me of Cruel Intentions, which I love that movie.
Asher was every bit the jerk I thought he would be. As much as I wanted to punch him in the face, I still was drawn to him. My heart hurt for Nora knowing what might happen.

Privileged follows Asher, UK royalty, and Nora, the US native who is becoming royal by marriage. Already out of place in the new land of the wealthy and powerful, she unknowingly walks into a web of deceit and lies. The man behind the deception, Asher, plans to use Nora as a pawn in his game. Although Asher has dishonorable intentions, his motivations for doing so are understandable as he has lived under his father’s reign for years. For most of the book, readers will hate his cockiness and abrasive demeanor, but as the novel progresses, readers get to see the real Asher as he falls in love with Nora. The man he becomes is amazing. I love the independence he earns, and how he walks away from everything.
Nora is a heroine who, although gets caught up in the tangle web weaved by Asher, stays distanced from the privileged world she has been thrown into. Very mature for her age, she balances her true self with the new world she must now play in. Readers will love that she keeps a sense of who she is and doesn’t succumb to the glitz and glamour of royal society.
A majority of the novel focuses on Asher setting up his revenge while balancing his emotions for Nora, and while this part is entertaining, I really love the moments when Asher and Nora are together and alone. This is where readers get the romance and where they start to really like the characters. The swoon factor really comes into play when the falling action and resolution of the story occur, and by the time the final page is here, they are solidly in the pro-Asher category. SWOON!
Lovers of Cruel Intentions or Gossip Girl, this is the novel for you. It has the revenge, the power and wealth, and all the romance you could want. I really enjoyed this new world she created, and I wouldn’t mind a return visit.

Although Asher has dishonorable intentions, his motivations for doing so are understandable as he has lived under his father’s reign for years. For most of the book, readers will hate his cockiness and abrasive demeanor, but as the novel progresses, readers get to see the real Asher as he falls in love with Nora. The man he becomes is amazing. I love the independence he earns, and how he walks away from everything.
Nora is a heroine who, although gets caught up in the tangle web weaved by Asher, stays distanced from the privileged world she has been thrown into. Very mature for her age, she balances her true self with the new world she must now play in. Readers will love that she keeps a sense of who she is and doesn’t succumb to the glitz and glamour of royal society.
A majority of the novel focuses on Asher setting up his revenge while balancing his emotions for Nora, and while this part is entertaining, I really love the moments when Asher and Nora are together and alone. This is where readers get the romance and where they start to really like the characters. The swoon factor really comes into play when the falling action and resolution of the story occur, and by the time the final page is here, they are solidly in the pro-Asher category. SWOON!
Lovers of Cruel Intentions or Gossip Girl, this is the novel for you. It has the revenge, the power and wealth, and all the romance you could want. I really enjoyed this new world she created, and I wouldn’t mind a return visit.

This was a quick, enjoyable, entertaining read and one I would recommend. Loved Asher when he was being cruel and when he was being romantic and giving in to his true feelings. Nora was an interesting, likable character if a little weak on occasion. For me, personally, it didn't go quite deep enough. I needed more tension, more emotion, more drama, more substance, and for Nora not to forgive Asher so quickly.
The writing was great and with a couple of notable exceptions, the author nailed the British dialect and colloquialisms. I enjoy this author's style and while this was my first Carrie Aarons read, I'm confident it won't be my last.

Carrie Aarons teased her readers with the full first chapter of Privileged and normally I wait until the entire book is out to read it, but this time I read it, and I was hooked! I started reading this book the same day it appeared on my kindle and could not put it down!
I love how Privileged finely crosses the line between young adult and new adult. It deals with feelings and adapting to changes, as well as what's important and what's not. It's got that angst I love and have come to expect from Carrie's stories, while also maintaining a freshness.
As someone who is not often impressed by the cover, Privileged's cover is stunning and perfect for the book. I can easily see Nora and Asher sitting on that wall. Speaking of Nora and Asher, I loved being in their heads. Nora was really easy to like and relate to. Asher, was the more complicated of the two, and even though he wasn't always my favorite, I loved him. There was something about him showing vulnerability that really tugged on my heartstrings. Of course the two had great chemistry. I loved how that was showcased, but the physical didn't overpower the emotional.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Carrie Aarons is one of the most underrated authors out there, but her work is consistent. If you haven't read her, you don't know what you're missing out on.

Privileged was an audiobook with a vibe between Cruel Intentions and Gossip Girl but gone British. It was fun, sweet and intriguing. I enjoyed listening to this book. Lauren Sweet as Nora and Shaun Grindell made a good performance. The accents gave this book the authentic British feel. I did enjoyed more Lauren different europeans accents on this story. Made possible differentiate each characters in the story.
A bit about the audiobook. The kids at Winston Prep live the life of luxury and power at a young age. The Alpha of this pack of spoil British rich kids is no other than sexy and brooding Asher William Frederick. He always gets what he wants. Right now he set his eyes on Nora Randolph, the new American girl. But Asher has secrets in regards of his new found liking of the super smart and beautiful Nora.
Miss Randolph is to become the new step daughter of Bennett Charles McAlister, the Duke of Westminster. She is a really, sweet and smart. Used to always hide and been unnoticed but all that will chance once Asher decides to make her completely visible and his.
It was fun watching this two banter and denied their mutual feels. See the relationship grow and then take a turn.

disappointing.
You can't just leave big gaps in character development or the development of character relationship.
This author only showed the big first then decided mentioning everything else in passing was sufficient. Which it wasn't, at least not for myself. The relationship felt fake/forced and also was very insta-love-ish. The characters were mostly unlikable too.
Absolutely forgettable, but not terrible, but also not good. lol. So much lost potential with the whole concept. It was so hard to understand the characters because it felt like you didn't know them. I wasn't watching their story unfold, but instead I was watching the highlights recap. For me that's the reason I couldn't at all relate or connect with any of the characters.
My favourite part of romance books is the "marital bliss" scenes. I don't know how else to describe it. They don't have to be married, but i just want to have a few scenes that seem totally uncandid, yet happy. SO HAPPY. Those are the scenes that really make me like a couple because it's showing how in love they are without having to say it. It's usually the calm before the storm scenes. The scenes that the characters look back on and reminisce the good old days.

Holy moly! I still cannot believe that Privileged is only my second Carrie Aarons read because wow this author has managed to wiggle her way right into my heart with her captivating writing style. Right from that opening scene when Nora and Asher first met I was sucked in and ended up devouring the first 42% of the story before my eyes grew too tired and I had to rest for a couple hours before continuing. Literally five minutes after opening my eyes I was loading my kindle back up and finishing this one because I needed to know what happened next. Let me just say that I was extremely shocked and amazed by everything that took place during this story and I absolutely loved every single moment of it.
So what made me decide to read this story?! I must admit being the COVER WH*RE that I am it was the cover that initially drew me in, but the second that I read that little chapter sneak peek that Carrie Aarons posted I needed to read this one as soon as possible. The author did such an extraordinary job with this story and I thought that she did an amazing job transitioning an American teenager into her new life in England. Well it is a struggle to fit in at first, she eventually manages to find her place, but things aren't always as they seem. Never get too comfortable because things do change quickly in the world of royalty!
Privileged by Carrie Aarons is hands down one of those stories that I believe is a one click worthy read! So make sure to pick up your copy of this book when it releases on JULY 23!

I got an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review :) there were things I really liked about this story, but on the other hand there were a few issues I had as well... but all in all I have to say that it was an addicting read full of drama, angst and intrigue ;) it's a standalone, but I definitely see a lot of potential for possible future stories about certain secondary characters :) 4 solid and entertaining stars ;) so how about I will tell you a bit more about my thoughts and feelings about this book :)
I have to start with our main couple... Nora and Asher... usually I tend to stay away from *just* young adult stories... not that there's anything wrong with them, I just feel like I'm way to old to truly connect to such young characters... and no, I am not THAT old ;) turning 31 in a couple of days actually ;) but sometimes I feel like there is an abyss between me and people in high school ;) anyway... :) I don't mind as much when characters are younger in more fantasy-ish books or something like that, where there is more going on besides just the romance... but I decided to give this story a try, because I am a huge fan of Carrie and her writing style in general, and I am always willing to give one of her books a try :) so back to our main characters :) Nora is being thrown straight into a very unfamiliar situation... after her mother catches the eye of a british dignitary they move to London and she transfers schools... now a senior in a very elite Winston Academy, full of snobistic and egotistical teenagers, she needs to find her footing... which is not easy, when she's targeted by Asher... he has an agenda when it comes to her and her soon-to-be-stepfather... I don't want to go into too many details, but there is defintiely plan for revenge... ;) like I mentioned, I usually have lots of problems with such young characters... mainly because I can't relate to all the unnecessary angst and drama and all the usual miscommunication... and even though it DID appear in this book as well, I have to say that it was done actually really well... :) and yes, I am perfectly aware that I cannot expect from young adults to behave like adults, but since those are my personal preferences, I just want to be completely honest with you guys :) that's probably why I gave this book 4 stars... it was that kind of a read for me, but if you like those types of stories, you will love this one :) what I think about Nora and Asher? well... I liked her throughout the majority of the book... there were certain reactions toward the end that I wasn't the biggest fan of, but like I said... nobody is perfect ;) Asher on the other hand... well... he was a jerk... that is the nicest way I can describe him... and trust me, I have better words for him... I just can't share them in my review ;) yeah, he went through a bit of a character development in the story... but I think I would have liked him more with a few additional scenes showing that growth... I can't really explain it more, because it's all connected to his revenge plan and how he proceeds to trick Nora into falling for him... which is of course much more complicated than that, but again... due to my #NoSpoilers rule... I can't say more ;)
All in all I actually really enjoyed this story :) which was very surprising ;) it's written in 2 POVs, which means we got to see chapters from Nora's perspective, as well as Asher's :) and it's my favourite kind, so I was one happy reader ;) although there were a few moments when it felt like I missed a scene here and there... I had to check to make sure I haven't skipped a chapter or something ;) but maybe it was the late hour when I was finishing this book... we will never know... ;) even though it's a standalone, I see a few possibilities for stories, that I definitely wouldn't mind reading at some point in the future... something to think about ;) I liked the secondary characters in this book, especially Nora's mom :) it was a story filled with drama, angst, intrigue and secrets... very fast paced and supper addicting... it felt like an episode of "Gossip girl" and if we're being honest there was a time, when I was absolutely addicted to that show, sooooo... ;) if you are looking for a quick and entertaining summer read, I highly recommend you guys to check out this one :) it will keep you glued to the pages and curious to see how it all ends ;)

Privileged will be my first book written by Carrie Aarons...and let me just say that I'm not disappointed at all. So, Privileged is a contemporary standalone romance novel about Nora Randolph and Asher Frederick.
Nora is from Pennsylvania and has just moved to new country due to her mom getting engaged...to a prince. Nora who hasn't had a father figure to look up to doesn't mind her soon-to-be stepdad but she isn't excited to move into a new school at the beginning of senior year. She also doesn't like that everyone says her mom is gold-digger (which she isn't because they didn't even know he was royalty when they first met).
Then there is Asher, typical bad boy born with a silver spoon; however, he has one thing on his mind: revenge. His dad has always told him that Bennett (Nora's soon-to-be stepdad) was the reason his mother died. Throughout his childhood they have developed a plan to seek their revenge. The new revenge plan included Nora and how Asher had to get close to her and then ruin their family from the inside.
Now like any book, they soon start to develop feelings for each other, which Asher wasn't planning on (which of course always happens). Then when Asher breaks her heart at a family dinner he is left realizing that he hurt himself even more. Why?!? Because he fell for Nora hard, real hard. At the end of the book he tries to make it up to her (without even planning it, he basically saves her life from his dad---because he's crazy af).
Okay, so at first I didn't really like Asher because he seemed like a typical teenage douchebag. Then a couple of chapters later I started to like him, even though he was lying to Nora. Now Nora, I absolutely adored her character because at first she is suspicious of every person at this new school because she fresh bait. She knows what's being said in the tabloids about her and her mother so she doesn't want to be fake towards these people. Their friendship was really cute too.. I loved the banter and how the group just kind of accepted her and didn't try to sabotage anything. The romance was just the cherry on top.

“Privileged” is the latest novel from author Carrie Aarons. This entertaining standalone novel comes from the Contemporary Romance genre and delivers with enjoyable characters and a decently good story-line. This story is written from the two main characters’ P.O.V.’s(point of views) which are Nora Randolph and Asher Frederick.
Nora Randolph is an American girl who’s a new student at Winston Preparatory Academy in London. It’s her senior year of high school and to add to that pressure, she must blend into this new posh school filled with her elite and privileged peers. She’s far from her old town in Pennsylvania now that she is set to become the step-daughter to the Duke of Westminster. To top it off, it seems a certain popular jerk named Asher is determined to make her life a living hell.
Asher William Frederick comes from a line of overachievers who’ve never had to worry about anything since they have the connections and money to do as they please. Asher and his father conjure up a plan to bring down the Duke of Westminster by any means necessary. They blame him for the night Asher’s mother died. With vengeance in his heart, he tries his best to satisfy his and his father’s anger. But, what Asher didn’t plan on was slowly finding himself falling for the innocent and sometimes naive Nora.
Can Nora handle every little snide remark and prank these rich snobs sling her way? And can Nora find her place in her new challenging life? Will Asher ever find a way to heal from his mother’s death or will he continue to live in his shallow lifestyle with no real depth? This story was a pleasant surprise and did not disappoint. It’s a fun read with a plot that keeps things interesting. It’s great to see the characters grow from start to finish. If you’re looking for something appealing to entertain your romance-reader needs, this one is a good one! Check this out. <3

I was pleasantly surprised by Privileged by Carrie Aarons. A YA rags to riches story of a young girl thrown into a life she did not want, but now has. A story full of hurt, betrayal and angst with a hero that was cruel and a heroine who stayed true to herself.
Nora Randolph’s life changed when her mother decided to marry her prince charming, literally. She is plucked away from everyone and everything she has ever known. Now she is surrounded by wealth and power she has never known. When she is set to attend Weston Academy she is not prepared when she meets Asher Frederick.
Asher Frederick was the school golden boy. But he was cruel to Nora and set on revenge. He did not care if she was a casualty in his plans. He sets a plan in motion, but as he spends time with Nora, the unexpected happens and he begins to have feelings for her.
I loved Nora’s innocence, but even so, she never let her new life change her and was sassy. Though Asher wanted to feel nothing for her, she draws him in. Honestly, I had no hope for Asher. He was set on is plans, even if it destroyed Nora. But giving us dual point of views was brilliant. We are able to see into his head and what drove him.
Will Asher’s plan of revenge destroy them or will he find redemption? I loved this story. I was consumed by it. It was such an interesting storyline and characters that draw you in. Their push and pull explodes with chemistry they cannot contain.

He was set on is plans, even if it destroyed Nora. But giving us dual point of views was brilliant. We are able to see into his head and what drove him.
Will Asher’s plan of revenge destroy them or will he find redemption? I loved this story. I was consumed by it. It was such an interesting storyline and characters that draw you in. Their push and pull explodes with chemistry they cannot contain.

Growing up in a single parent home barely getting by, Nora Randolph’s life has changed 100%. Her mother is set to marry a British heir. Moving away from a small town in Pennsylvania to live the life of royalty in England.
Starting her first day at Winston Academy, she is noticed by Asher Frederick. Taunted by Asher Frederick is more like it. But holding her head high and wishing to succeed at her new school, Nora survives.
Asher Frederick is a vicious young man. When he says jump, people ask how high. He notices the new American at school…of course he did. He is out for vengeance, he wants everyone involved to suffer. He’s been programmed for this day.
What he wasn’t programmed for is to truly fall for Nora. But can his feelings trump the devastation he has set out to perform? Can these two survive the destruction that will happen once the story is revealed?
Or will these two-young people realize that the ocean that separates them is big enough for them to survive without each other.
