Violet Potts is definitely NOT allowed a dog. Not unless she can prove she's really, really RESPONSIBLE. Unfortunately, being responsible is TRICKY for VIOLET, especially when she shrinks to the size of a DOG BISCUIT! But then a NAUGHTY MUTT named Chip comes along, who only behaves when VIOLET is tiny. Sometimes being small is SUPER!

DNF! I didn’t like it at all. To be fair, I haven’t read the first one, but usually it’s no big deal to just begin a children series in the middle, but still I didn’t like the writing style and the story dragged on and on and just before the middle, I put it down, because it just wasn’t very much fun!
This is Lou Kuenzler's second book.I think that this book is amazing because it has interesting and funny things like for example when Rosie thought that Violet was princess tiny twinkle and made her wear a mermaid costume and she had no choice but to escape in that mermaid costume in that when Violet was as tiny as a pocket doll. Another time was when Violet shrank when she was in a Limousine with her Gran. The title is called shrinking Violet because Violet keeps shrinking now and then that is why i is called shrinking Violet. i think that people with ages 6-16 should read this book as it is suitable for your age but i am not saying that people above the recommended age cannot read it just that it most suitable for people who are 6-16.
