Yet another reality dating show - but for the undead.
After reluctantly agreeing to publicize his love life, Prince Viktor Romanov is determined to make it through with his dignity and immortal heart intact. Hard to do with three blood-thirsty vampiresses after you. But when he runs smack dab into the stubborn and beautiful Cate, his resolution falters.
Freshly dumped and slightly tipsy Cate Mahoney arrives in the mysterious country of Monstrana and is mistaken for a contestant on a twisted version of The Bachelor. When she discovers the brooding Prince Viktor is of the undead variety, she must kill her growing feelings for him and keep her humanity a secret, or be forced to become one with the creatures of the night.
They say love is dead. With a little resurrection, it might just become undead.
Drop Dead Single is a paranormal sweet romance with plenty of spice, humor, and undying heart. Get lost in the hidden supernatural kingdom of Monstrana and fall in love with its creatures of the night.
*Full-length novel and no cliff hangers. Vampire hunks guaranteed.

Loved this book! It had a little bit of everything I love; romance, royals, paranormal and a silly TV show! It was clean and fun and I cannot wait for more!

NOW, like Gollum, if she takes it off she's NORMAL, HUMAN, & she has DETECTABLE Heartbeats!! If anyone finds out, she'll likely "Drop Dead Single!" Her Humanity is Dependent upon that One RING to FOOL them ALL... But, she's falling for the PRINCE... What'll happen if he discovers the RING... If he discovers her HUMANITY... If One RING can't FOOL them ALL, will she "Drop Dead Single!" I liked it. The author did a good job with the continuation (or start) of the series. However, either I wasn't in the mood for it or something was off because I can't bring myself to give it a higher rating than 3 stars.
I liked the relationship between Viktor and Cate, and yes, the author manages to pull off the "The Bachelor" feel to that part of the story, and yet, I think there were some inconsistencies throughout the book (the vamps are supposedly undead, with no beating heart, but still have warm skin/touch?). Also, I wouldn't say that the ending was rushed, but I certainly couldn't follow completely with Viktor's logic for doing what he did.
Recommended to all who are interesting in reading a relatively clean* paranormal story.
*The book IS clean, and the reader is not even shown more than one kiss through pretty much 80% of the book. Yet, .
I don’t think I have ever read a book with a plot like this. It was great! Cate goes to visit her best friend in the new island kingdom she just heard of. Just before takeoff she received a text from her now ex boyfriend as he had texted her to break up. In the airy bathroom she sends a text to her friend surprising her with the visit and breakup. Then she accidentally drops her phone into the toilet. Before she could get the courage to reach in and get it the toilet automatically flushed sending her phone to the unknown and unwanted depths of the sewer. In comes a beautiful woman that is equally as upset as Cate. After telling the young woman to follow her heart and not to make anyone force her into anything, the grateful woman gifts her with a ring and disappears. It is from here on out life as Cate is forever changed. What I liked about this story is the fact that two very different but at the same time similar have to face their fears and make some life altering decisions.
Welcome to Monstrana, an undetected country run by Vampires and Werewolves and populated by supernaturals in 21st century.
Meet Viktor our reticent 700 year old Vampire Hero and a our young naive heroine Kate who does not even know that Vampire exists. Add in a mistaken identity, 1 bitchy suitor, a loving but interfering grandmother, irritating yet lovable siblings and 1 live dating show and you get a hilarious read.
A woman is planning to visit her best friend who works in a castle in a forei gn country. Due to a mix-up she ends up in a reality show to find a bride for the prince. The catch - he, and the other contestants are vampires. Funny at times it is a well-written romance between her and the prince. The "culture" shock is well described, as are the insecurities on both sides. A lovely story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved the premise of this, and after reading it, I can say that it's quite well done! I loved the characters, I liked the setting, and I can't wait to read more from this author, especially after the preview of book two!

He is set up on a dating show but this is not the normal one. This is for vampires. She is human and she turns up slightly drunk and quickly learns she needs to hide she is human. She finds she is attracted to him. Is this going to get messy? See if it will

It was a quick, quirky read that I pretty much loved! Cate was coming off a bad relationship and Victor had never really had fun. Watching them get to know each other and fall in love was hilarious! Would have liked a little more info on Jewel. I know there's a back story there somewhere! Would be great to see Joy get a HEA as well!
A well-written story that I enjoyed reading, I am going to be reading the next book. This is a new Author for me and one I will be looking to see what other books in this series she has out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
An enjoyable read, this story found its way into my heart. I liked the blurb, grabbed the book and found out the story was definitely a fun read. I liked the premise. I totally enjoyed the characters relationship as it evolved. Good story
I really enjoyed it...until the ending. Single....A key word to keep in mind. I'm glad the relationship was there emotionally before the physical, but they should be married legally before intimacy. IMHO.
Cate is on her way to visit her best friend in a little country called Monstrana. When she gets there she turns on her cell to find that her boy friend has broken up with her via text then she drops her cell into the toilet. As she;s at the sink a woman comes in crying and they talk and the lady gives her a ring in thanks for her talking her through her mini crisis. As Cate leaves she is approached by two hulking guys who take her to the castle. Meanwhile...The Prince has been coerced into doing a reality dating show by his cousin and werewolf princess, Stasia. Somehow Cate has made it onto this show thanks to the ring. Then the poor Prince Victor or Viky for short now has to date these three females, two are vampires and one human who he doesn;t know is a human. Life gets complicated for him when he finds himself falling for Cate. The cutest story of a love that would beat in hearts if the hearts beat that is. Fantastic story and read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are engaging and you find yourself unable to put the book down. The only negative aspect is that an epilogue is badly needed. I've yet to read the second book, maybe the sequel will wrap up book one to my satisfaction. There's only one way to find out-- bring on book two!
