Will Dov derail the coup without giving up everything he stands for?

Funding Rivka is the almost anonymous tycoon, Barry Hareven, with several Israeli politicians in his pocket, including the defense minister. Incomplete Silence by Paul Usiskin - Book Review #BookReview

Incomplete Silence: A Political Conspiracy Thriller (The Chizzik Sagas) by Paul Usiskin is a real thriller. What a fantastic beginning it has that says Silence is never complete. There is always something around to break it. That breaking agent could be anything. Like, a dog's bark, a distant plane, a roaring sea, a sudden idea, or anything for that sake. The intense story is about religion, coups, and a ruthless killer. I loved the book for its intense story and catchy presentation. The lines are short and crisp. To the point. Yet able to draw a big picture in your mind while you are reading the story. Right in the beginning, you become a close part of the story. And as you turn pages, it becomes difficult to leave it in between. The story revolves around Dov Chizzik, the protagonist of this story.

Since Incomplete Silence by Paul Usiskin is a political conspiracy thriller, it is bound to contain high-end drama, politics, and conspiracies. Presenting such a complex story in a simple and interesting manner is an art. The story engages well its readers throughout and doesn't leave a chance to lower the intensity of interest in any of the 45 chapters. This is the second book of the Chizzik Saga series. Dov Chizzik is a police investigator continuing his sharp skills in this book too. Here he has to fight against Hodaya, who is a ruthless killer. The right-wing coup is quite active to depose Israel's Army's Chief of Staff and replace him with a hardcore religious leader. Of course, the situation will not remain the same after this transition. In fact, intentions are not hidden from anybody about what real motives are working behind this coup.

Overall, Incomplete Silence is an interesting story to grab and enjoy. Some of the sequences in the story and the end are completely unimaginable. So, don't think too much about guessing what next. Rather, keep enjoying every page and be a part of this intense political conspiracy thriller.

In Incomplete Silence, police investigator Dov Chizzik accidentally uncovers a right wing coup to depose of the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army. Rivka Aaronson is the woman leading the coup, a woman with certain ideas about religion that could potentially be dangerous. Dov’s life is put at risk more than once during his quest to stop the coup. Will he survive?

This book is a fast-paced thriller with an intriguing plot and one action sequence following the other. It explains a complex political situation in a straightforward way, and implements it into the story rather well. One downside is that some parts of the book are harder to grasp if you’re not familiar with the situation in Israel; however, this doesn’t derail from the story.

Exciting ...

... not to mention highly plausible. Brought back memories of visits to Tel Aviv and Jaffa. I need to follow Doc's Technicolor journey in future works.
