I love books from or set in this era and this one was thoroughly enjoyable. A struggle between good and evil, Christianity and Satanism. The characters and settings are strong and the pace is good. It's the second Marston Baines book that I've read although it's really the third in the series, it's a big shame they are so hard to find and so expensive when you do as I'd like to read them all.

Completely one of my all time favourite Saville books . Great pace , sinister undertones. The power play between good and evil tinged with the excitement and tension of badness.

A very lame story. A silly girl needing to be rescued from international Satanists. Oh, dear, how tired and old the imagination of Malcolm Saville must have been when he cooked up this one. Sexism sixties style.
