Sick and tired of her older brother's antics, Violet Sparks organizes the younger siblings of the neighborhood into an army, and the group declares an hilarious war on the olders.

Not as awesome as I wanted it to be, but still, not bad. Elder siblings vs. younger siblings: somebody finally gets their comeuppance - As a middle sibling, I can understand both sides, so not being able to pick a side probably led to my slight disappointment in the book. I don't know what I was expecting... maybe more YA versus the middle grade book that it actually was? Either way: good set up, wish the follow-through was a little bit more in depth.
Continues to be a good book for the much-abused youngers of the world, although I'd hesitate to give it to any child actually related to me lest they get terrible ideas about lizards and "duh". Still, fun.
What a neat little book! She sets a goal, gathers the troops, and makes things happen. How can one not like...unless you're an abusing Older -- Duh! ;) (Warning: it may give your little sisters/brothers ideas...recommend with caution. LOL)
As a child this was the only book I checked out of the library more than once; four times actually. Even now, just over a decade later, I still find myself thinking about this book.
