Although this is just an adaptation of two early episodes of the hit show, 'A Portrait For Troian' and 'Play It Again, Seymour', this is still a must read for Quantum Leap fans as it paved the way for the much superior original novels that followed.
I was much more interested in the first half than the second. I wish they'd expanded the Troian episode into a whole book. Seems to me there is plenty there. Not bad as far as novelizations go, though Sam's language was a little saltier then it ever was in the series.
This is an adaptation of two early episodes of the original Quantum Leap series. It's a decent blending of two episodes, and shows how little had been revealed about Sam in the first season of the show. It's a decent novel, although many of the later ones are better. While I'm enjoying the new tv show, I do miss the original and still hope Sam's going to show up at some point.
