PJ day at school is a success. The Groovy Girls plan to stay up all night at the twins sleepover on Saturday night after one of the boys at school bet they couldn't. He lives across the street so can check. During truth or dare the girls discover he's fallen asleep in front of the T.V. In the morning, they decorate their pancakes with their first name initial and realize it spells groovy. Making themselves the Groovy Girls.
This is the first book in the Groovy Girls Sleep Over Club series. I got this series when I was little, and I loved it. The first book in the series is an introduction to all the girls in the group and having their first sleepover. They try to pull an all nighter and we go through their night with them and everything they decide to do. This series is definitely pointed towards girls, because all the main characters are girls. I like this series because it goes through problems that friend groups, best friends, or even sisters can have and solve.
