When working a 12 Step program, "Higher Power" ( as you define it) and conscious contact with Power is the most important part of life. In this book, the writer places abstinence first, time and again.
You might want this book if you are working a tools based program, but there are much better meditation books out there.
I couldn't wait for the year to end.

Sometimes the daily reflections are really meaningful, but having this book as a daily reader suffers because all the reflections are from one writer. I would prefer a selection of different views which give a more balanced view of the different approaches to programme and the different ways the disease of OA affects people.
