Deep in the Midwest, four people will realize that there are principles to the streets, loyalty and to the game called love.
For sisters, Peyton and Torre Rahim, finding the love of a good man is nothing like a fairytale.

Joshua “Josh” Royal is a man who does what is necessary. And right now securing the bag by selling narcotics is what keeps a roof over the head of him and his only child. However, unlike his ego driven cousin Chris, he knows that there’s more to life than hustling. With his baby’s mother hooked on the same drugs that he once sold, he wants more than anything to get on the right path to become a better parent. So, when he meets Peyton, it seems as if the hopeless romantic in her can finally bring out a new man in him.
Torre is everything her younger sister is not. Wild, freaky, outspoken, and an unliberated party animal. One failed relationship attempt after another does nothing to deter her or her taste in men. She wants what her body desires and her dangerously promiscuous romance with Chris Royal is yet another example.
Chris is Torre’s mirror image and he sees nothing wrong with anything he’s doing. He’s cold, callous, and full of greed. With no love or loyalty to anything but the streets, all he wants is to chase the money that Milwaukee drug lord Rico Morales puts him on to and he believes that no one can stop him on that mission.
With all the calamity, secrets & drama in their love lives there’s not room for anything else..

Deserving of number 1
I love this story! I love how shy and reserved Peyton is and I can’t wait to see her relationship blossom with Joshua. You did an amazing job and I know it’s only gonna get better.

This was a very good book
This is my 2nd read by this author & i wasn't disappointed it didn't have a sex scene just drama with his bm bc i think she wants him back so she's playing tht role but i do hope Josh & Peyton get together bc they'll make a good couple so for now i'm gonna read part 2 to c what kind of trouble Chris done got Josh into by running his mouth

I couldn’t stop reading it and when I was done I wanted more! Church girl gone bad, thug trying to go legit man it don’t get no better than that.
