How far would you go to protect the one you love? Same question; different circumstances.
The game of life isn’t checkers, it’s chess. Summer Hartley has had to learn this the hard way as disloyalty and betrayal threaten to be her downfall. All she wants is her man, Jah’s, innocence to be proven. Who can she rely on when the game gets tough? Whether they are far apart or close to one another, the king and queen must strategically eliminate the pawns that could potentially end it all. Will they win or lose?
Stayed bundled up. It’s the ending to a cold summer…
Cold Summer 1&2 I have no clue who is this author. And I have to admit, I doubted this book before I even gave it a chance. But I was like with, it's a short story, I'll see if I can get through it. When I tell yall I searched for book 2 so fast because I was all into it! I have no idea why she didn't make it one book since both were so short but never the less, I enjoyed reading the deception and backstabbing at its finest. Jah was real as they get but too bad he had a team made up some grimy dudes. However he had a girl who loved him whole hearted and would ride with him until the wheels fell off. I guess they had the worse luck when choosing friends, because Summer, Jah's girl thought she had bestie that would always have her back. Nah her "bestie" Keish was as foul as they came. Lucky for both, the had family. Well her became his. And they were down for whatever to settle the scores of unloyalty mfers and backstabbing bihhs. Oh I'm definitely peeping for some of her other works. She had hardly any errors. Well hell, I dont even remember any. And as a reader, that says a lot to me about how serious she is about her craft. You just gained a supporter! 5*
Someone suggested this and I was skeptical about it. But I’m kinda glad I did read it. This was a short story that was straight to the point and I liked that fact. Although I think even with it being a short the author could’ve explained more in detail about certain events. I love when authors research things to make the storyline more believable. Don’t just tell me this happened and not explain how but say something like I pulled some strings or something similar. I want details.
Talk about hood love and ride or die that’s what summer was for Jah... Ten toes down completely and I can’t respect it because there was plenty of shadiness going on from the beginning but when you got a good one love makes you do crazy shit... I love this series from beginning to end it was like a little hood movie that I thoroughly enjoyed... Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read
This was a great story about Summer and her boo Jah. Summer was the ultimate ride or die for her man. I could not stop reading. Very well written and the characters you can't help but to love. I love Nancy, she went hard for her daughters Summer and Eva. I was definitely shocked by that ending. Overall great series.
When snakes are in the grass you got to cut it... summer was are all down chick and Jah really loved her. Summer's mom was the one to trip me out and also Mr. Jean wearing cowboy boots but he was real big in the game back then as well but the end is what got me because Keish could have been gone a long time ago but summer finally got her and her and Jah lived happy
don’t you ever put the pen down ! I don’t wanna write to much and give the book away but i love me some Jah and Summer 🤞🏾 so what I will say is READ READ READ you won’t be disappointed !
Part 2 was good I always try to stay away from reading novella because most aren't very well written or the are just stupid content make my head hurt but this one was pretty good I can't complain
I gave the book 4 stars because I'm confused about something. Is Black Sam paralyzed or not. One minute he is in a wheelchair and the next he walking. That makes the story unbelievable. I will read something else by this author.
I enjoyed this read. Jah handled everything when he came home. I really was shocked at the end. When Summer stabbed Keish, I didn't believe she was really going to hurt her. I guess she proved me wrong. It definitely was a cold Summer.
I love how it wasnt a typical ending...it had me happy yet sad and made me realize things like this happen every day and this author always make me want me to read more
